The lock/handle on my moms sliding glass door was broken. Dennis came out and took a look. The door is pretty old, but he let me know what kind of mechanism to look for at Home Depot and will come back out to install it as soon as I purchase it. He was friendly and professional. I needed a key now! And on a saturday morning no less. Called A1 and Dennis showed up before I knew it. Very friendly and took care of my problem in the most economic way. In fact we have used A1 for other jobs now as well.

Arrived within the hour, able to get car unlocked, but bedside manner left lot to be desired . Acted smug when I was sharing preference of method to get in to car, based on previous experiences. Will try another business next time if needed.

I needed to have keyfobs with the key built in programmed and cut, they had advised they would charge even if they couldnt get them programmed. They cut the keys and the woman tried programming them to the vehicle but they would not fully program. She then proceeded to charge me the full amount. I had told her we were short on money and she said she would see what she could do. $45 to cut 2 keys and the failing to program is robbery, I would have understood paying for the cost of cutting them but to pay full for cutting and programming after she couldnt get them to work is just shoddy service. I wound up having to go to the Ford dealer to have the IC module flashed which she could have done. I will stick with AAA-1 Lock and Key in Nampa for my needs. Definitely would avoid these people.
