Are you able to buy a car without auction

Unorganized and ghetto. Came prepared with 4 different vehicles listed for sale online, only to find out they are not in stock yet, and havent been smogged. Then the stock they do have on-site are not even priced, they need to look that info up on each vehicle. A joke, dont trust their high star reviews like I did.

This was a good first time experience. Susie was especially helpful and friendly.

The car we bid on in good faith had incorrect mileage listed. We would not have bid on this car if the mileage had been correct as it would have been a maintenance risk given the real mileage being substantially higher. Plus Blue Book value would not have supported the price we ended up paying. When we found out the mileage was wrong we contacted SoCal Transportation and after repeated calls and correspondence finally received a call back. Bottom line their representative stated that per DMV rules the mileage does not have to be correct and therefore we had no recourse. Find this hard to believe and asked why this was not announced to all bidders prior to the auction starting. Answer was they had no requirement to do so. Message to all. Do not take anything at face value. Check immediately all the information through Carfax and return immediately if anything does not check out. While they may have followed the letter of the law believe they did not act in the spirit of the law by not informing the audience of the caveats that buying a car in this manner may entail.
