I will forever be thankful for this place. 1 year ago today my daughter was in a really bad place. I wholeheartedly believe that Danielle is a HUGE part of why my girl is doing so good now.

Dr. Piske was very helpful. I saw him for a series of sessions over the course of several months. He helped me get a much better grasp on fear, anxiety, and a relationship with God.Couple things to know going in: Their billing can be confusing so keep an eye on it. Also, they will auto assign you a counselor. I had to call them and let them know I wanted to work with a man simply because I didnt feel comfortable sharing some of my issues with the woman they assigned me.

Warm, inviting place. Knowledgeable staff with a Christ-centered approach to therapy. Definitely worth checking out their website. Cant recommend them highly enough!

I highly recommend Spence Counseling. The counselors are fantastic and the owner (Chuck Spence) gives you his phone number and honestly wants you to call if you have an issue, personal or with a counselor, even after hours.Ive done counseling at several places and these guys are the best Ive found. Youll get talk therapy at its best here - they are down to earth, honest, emphatetic, and truthful.

I worked with Lori who was supposed to help me complete counseling. She made me feel so terrible every single time I attempted to open up to her, she was full of put downs and I don’t believe anything about her is Christ like. I ended up not showing up multiple sessions because I felt worse leaving therapy than I did prior to showing up! I had a bad day and went to talk with her and couldn’t bring myself to come back to her again and left crying. She’s not compassionate at all, she truly made me feel terrible. Not to mention she was 10-15 minutes late every session. As for everyone else I encountered, they were all pleasant and nice to be around. I enjoyed the waiting room because it played Christian music and Michelle was super great when I got to work with her.

I love this place. They helped me talk through a very difficult period in my life. They are good at placing you with the right counselor. My counselor decided on Cognitive-Based Therapy, and it really helped me. I still have to use it from time-to-time, depending on my stress level.

Worse place ever. If you have Well care insurance they wont take it. And I am on a very tight budget and yet they expect the money right now or do a payment plan. I cant go to them any more because of this my son needs help and they dont care a Christian place my ass. It shouldnt be a problem to also except well care! People need help. Smh

After hearing this persons voice on the Spence counseling commercial, I felt obligated to inform people. One of the worseCounseling experiences i had. Went through several months of up and downs with this counselor. Didn’t feel right. Only after our rates went up, we found out that we were dealing with a drug and alcohol counselor who was trying to get hours in to be a “marriage counselor “. No totally her fault....but some. I report that I am divorced. Thanks Lori Goodwin and Spence counseling! she was reprimanded in 2016 by the state for professional misconduct. Not surprising.

I have been coming here for 2 years now and its an amazing atmosphere, even tho they have a religious center consoling then dont make it everything, they are vary good with what ever you believe in and there main goal is to help

Looking for a Christian counselor Spence is one of the best.

Worst counseling experience I ever had. Our counselor was very disorganized, and didnt seem to know how to handle the issues my husband and I were having.
