Love this place. Definitely worked through my stuff (and continuing to do so). Theyve really accommodated clients during this time of social distancing and the tele-health is great. Definitely recommend this place.
I regret seeking services at Healing Tree. Overall, a disappointing experience.Nearly five months since I’d last visited Healing Tree, and only for a few sessions, I received a letter from Collections. I was astounded, as I had not received a bill, an email, a phone call (no attempt to communicate with me whatsoever) prior to receiving this (credit-harming, embarrassing) notification. I called Healing Tree. No response. I left a detailed message asking for a prompt call back, and I have yet to hear ANY response.I see from other reviews that I am not alone in experiencing this issue. I simply wish I’d known sooner and avoided the mess. Go elsewhere!
Healing Tree is amazing and they offer TeleHealth services during the COVID 19 pandemic.Ive gone to healing tree for 2+ years and its made such a positive impact to my life and overall well being.Ive seen Laura for 2+ years for individual sessions and about 6 months ago started per-marriage couples sessions with Ella. Both have been a great to talk and work with. When COVID started I was worried about how to continue sessions when I couldnt go in person but the transition for both individual and couples sessions to being over the phone or computer have been seamless.
I have been going to Healing Tree for almost a year now and my only regret is that I didnt start sooner. Ive refereed two others and they have both had very positive experiences. The space is wonderful and all the counselors Ive interacted with have been amazing. If you are looking for a new therapist, I suggest starting here.
When I first brought my teen here, we were both excited. We both felt like it was an inviting place. They put up a great front, and the owner is definitely fake. She continuously encouraged my (young) teen to swear, and was more of a cheerleader for my kid to be negative at home...than anything. Apparently, it is also okay to talk down to the parents, and try and school the parent in front of the kid. They also like to make appointments (that you are unaware of), and then bill you over $200 (per appointment), and threaten to send to a credit agency. This is by far the opposite of HEALING anything.
Healing Tree was terrible about the billing process. None of the bills sent to my house had my name on them and I dont open my wifes mail. I found out about being delinquent on payments after Healing Tree sent my account to collections even though she never billed me directly. I tried to call her (the counselor) to discuss the bill and she had me on caller ID and said Hello Bob Peeters. I asked why I wasnt called about the late payments and she said that would be a consideration for future clients. I requested a detailed statement to ensure insurance had covered their part and she said she would send one. She never did. I tried to call several times and she would not answer (caller ID) or return my calls after leaving messages.Find another counselor.
