I knew I made the right decision going through Sharp the second I got one the phone with one of their recruiters! I don’t know about anybody else, but I can always tell the difference when someone is actually listening to me and hearing what I’m saying vs. when somebody is just doing the bare minimum to keep me talking. I felt like the recruiter at Sharp was actually hearing me and paying attention to everything I was saying. I’m not sure how long it will take to actually get a job now that I’ve filled everything out, but I trust them to do a great job because of the way I’ve been treated so far!

The owner is very hands-on and always willing to spare a minute to discuss career goals and ambitions with employees, regardless of rank. I spent 10 minutes with her the other day and I feel even more confident in my career path within the company now.

Worked an assignment for them in East Kentucky at a very unsafe facility. I brought concerns up to my recruiter, who always said she would bring them up to management. Nothing was ever addressed. Had a paycheck withheld even though they had signed timecards. Had to threaten to sue them before I was paid. Health insurance with most travel companies starts at day one of assignment. They tried to make me wait for six weeks before health insurance would have started. When I tried to quit the assignment due to lack of health insurance, they threatened to sue for up to $18k in “penalties and fees”. Don’t bother with this agency.

I’ve been with the company for almost 3 years now and the best part about working at Sharp (apart from how much it pays) is that the company reimburses you for ALL of your licenses. It’s amazing and a great way to progress your career!

I’ve worked with Sharp as a travel nurse for several years now and never had a single issue. They always pay on time and update me of any changes to the job(s) I’m working.
