Worst customer service ever - the company I work for has purchased an ice/water machine from this company and it has had multiple issues. After each time Midwest has come out to fix the maintenance request, the machine has had a leak the very next day or through the night. Then they are called back in and always find something else that was never wrong to begin with and we are billed again. The last time the machine had a leak after the fixed the water sensor, I called to have them provide a catch pan (the building was requiring something be put in place so that tenants in the office below dont become subject to further leaks- the main guy I spoke from MIdwest with said he would see what he could do about a catch pan and that he would get back to me. I wanted 10 days and he never did so I called back and the lady that answered the phone was incredibly dis-tastefully rude. She said there was nothing they were going to do and I said I would like to talk to the man that told me he was looking into and so she said I will put you on speaker phone then they both proceed to tell me that they have only ever been to fix our machine 1 time ever. I was sitting with the multiple invoices right in front of me from 2 years span so I stated so and they proceeded to say no they havent done anything other then 1 time and asked me for the invoice numbers. SO I read the numbers to them after they accused me of lying and they just go, well there is nothing we can do for you. We have never had a leak problem in 43 years of business. So I said well I would find it odd that you wouldnt have a procedure in place for this sort of issue if you are in the business of selling ice/water machines...but either way...I guess you can use this as your learning experience so how are you going to make this right? Mind you the machine is huge- 7 ft tall and 2-3 ft wide so I cannot lift it up to place a catch pan underneath. They didnt come up with a solution and were perfectly fine with offering nothing to resolve the problem. The two people with the business that I interacted with were so unprofessional, snotty and rude. I would never recommend them to anyone!
