I had Schrock (Jeff) download data from work computer to my new personal computer and separate out the two emails. Work was done timely and correct and a couple of follow up questions were answered by connecting remotely to my machine and showing me what I needed to do.I appreciate the quality and integrity shown
Jeff did a good job helping me get my printer back connected to my computer. It was not printing and he helped solve the problem. Jeff was very helpful. I appreciate the Schrock Desk immensely.
Had trouble getting into quickbooks account. technician Jeff was very very very good at his profession in getting our account up and running. i want to commend him HIGHLY !! We are so glad to be a part of the Schrock Family. we refer you often to everyone.

Printer setup went fast without a hitch. had another problem that the PC was not seeing my F drive. He took care of that problem quickly -- as dust got on the connections.
If I could give them a 0 I would. No help very rude . They wouldnt work with us. They told us there was no fixing the computer that we had to get a new one and then when we came in that wasnt true either. The kept creating a new story every time we asked them questions. Would let us use our Maintenance coupon. Even those thats what we bought it for. I would never ever go back to them or recommend anybody to go there.
They helped us out with a contaminated virus on our computer, made some other suggestions we will probably take them up on, on time service.

I am still trying to get Schrock to fix the computer I bought at the store by Village point. It was bought in July 2020. After taking the computer into the store 7/10, 7/30 when a PSU part was replaced, and now again in February and being told that it was a programing issue I still cannot get the machine to boot up without turning it off and restarting everything. There obviously is a part that needs to replaced. I dont know what it will take to get it fixed.
#1) 2-17-2020: Todays service was great! I am not certain what he did today, but when I called into Schrock this afternoon, he diagnosed that there was a problem in MSWord. He found a last years version of something to install that allowed the computer to respond properly. Thanks for getting us back up and running after fighting this for over a year. #2) We had just spent $213.99 on 2-5-2020 Invoice # 34127 ...and thought we would be able to type in MS Word when we got it back. It was too bad that after our computer spent a week at Schrock our expectation was that the updgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 would correct a problem that occured every time when trying to type in a simple MS Word document = slow slow slow recovery to get the cursor back after typing a couple of words. #2.2) Maybe the lesson we learned in this month long effort is to be more explicit on what was not acting properly, (rather than assuming that the windows 10 upgrade would be the fix for all of the challenges we were facing. ...As evidently, the problem fixed today had nothing to do with Windows 7 or Windows 10. upgrade. I have never written a review before but after dealing with Schrock I knew I had to create an account and share my experience. Please dont waste your time with Schrock Innovations- head East and find Friendly PC you will be thankful you did. I honestly wonder if the people at Schrock have ever seen a computer before and I cant believe they can run a business. They told me to bring my computer right in and they would be able to look at it that same day. I loaded up 3 kids and left right then. The gal at the front said they would call me later that day. Right before 5 that day I called them and they hadnt looked at it yet....they would call in the morning. The next day I finally called them at noon and talked to the least professional guy I have ever talked to. He had no idea what was wrong with my computer, he hadnt received any of the information I had given the front desk gal and guessed at a couple different fixes. He thought for $700 he could fix 2 parts that might make it work again but might not...REALLY FOR $700??? I told him to forget it and I would come pick up the computer. He seemed so surprised by this that he offered several other guesses- no thank you! My mom was close to Schrock so she picked up my computer for me. She mentioned the conversation I had had with their employee and how unimpressed I was with him and he pretty much said I was a liar. She then talked to the manager who implied that I lied about bringing it right in because he said they had 30 other people in front of me so the front desk gal never would have told me that they could have looked at my computer that day....what a mess! Dont waste your time here.
I called to inquire about a laptop charger cable. I was told that they are all random, they do not know what they have in stock I would have to come in and look. I asked if they were used, they said yes. I thought to myself perfect that means theyre gonna be a little cheaper. I asked him for the price, and he said they were $50. All of the computer parts are donated to them, but theyre going to try to charge me $50 for a used charger cable! Ill buy a brand new online for $10. Way to run a business. Its all overhead!!
Great experience! Nice to have the service and products on line to be able to purchase. The compute this broadcast is much easier to find and the play back works better.
I took my desktop tower to Schrock Innovations in Omaha to cure an overheating issue. They fixed the problem quickly and now it is running better than ever. There was misunderstanding over the charges for the repair, but Thor Schrock and the store manager, Kevin, quickly addressed my concerns and issued a credit. My experience shows that this is a company with integrity and a commitment to quality work and quality customer service.
Stumbled across the Omaha radio show on my way home one morning, and it was good enough to sit in the car 20 minutes to finish the show. Though PC centered, Thor and his staff are knowledgeable about problems that afflict the Mac community and offer great service. The recycle computer day was a life saver for my marriage as it helped clean out the garage to my wifes extreme pleasure. The tips on current tech are up to date and helpful for making the $$ decisions on new models.
My wife and I have been using Schrock Innovations for several years now for our computer repairs as well as preventative maintenance checks. We have been very impressed with their pricing and the knowledge of their staff. We wont take our computers anywhere else for servicing.
We wont be using them again. We dropped off our laptop to have the DC jack replaced. They told us theyd call us that night or the next morning and it should be done. We didnt hear from them for three or four days, called, and they claimed they were just putting it up on the bench to run diagnostics (more on that later.) I asked them to please call me as soon as the one hour diagnostics was done, we finally heard from them the next day they said because a couple of the screws on the bottom of the laptop were stripped them couldnt fix the computer.The diagnostics- we took in our computer without the hard drive because of personal information on it from my husbands work. They repeatedly insisted they couldnt find viruses if we didnt have the hard drive, we didnt care, were not idiots and know how to take care of the computer, we just didnt want to replace the DC jack ourselves. They ABSOLUTELY would not work on our computer without their spiffy diagnostics being ran first, which is 99.99. They said without the diagnostics they couldnt offer their antivirus offer, so we had to pay for something, so they could offer us another thing to buy, in spite of the fact they couldnt detect viruses or malware without our hard drive. Im so angry, they delayed us finding a computer repair shop that could actually fix our laptop.
My problem turned out to be something other than the computer. They were very helpful in helping me isolate the issue.
Schrock Computer Innovations (The companys current name) seems to have the expertise and professionalism to do an excellent and speedy job on any repair you would desire. However, after getting an appraisal from them, I choose not to use their service for several reasons.1. Claimed they couldnt find a part that was easily find-able on google2. They charged more than double than other competitors for their labor.My advice to you? Consider other options. I talked to the guys at Schrock and they seem to know what they are talking about. But their pricing may not be the most competative for your needs.+1 for speed+2 for professionalism and knowledgeability-1 for pricing
My Cell phone is on the do not call list, I received a robo call from this company today...something about a $39.95 computer evaluation and I should get mine in a hurry because they are so busy. I have never done business with these people and would never trust a company that is so hard up for business they have to start robo calling. These people remind me of the overseas people calling from vindows to feex your compuder.
I went to the Schrock Innovations to get a diagnosis of my laptop. I paid 60 dollars to get a quick check on my computer as it is an essential piece to my job. They determined that the problem was a bad inverter board and that they could order a new inverter in a week or two. It ended up taking two months and several different parts to determine that it was not the inverter board but the Main board that was bad. they did suggest that I swap my hard drive with another computer of the same model that I had but at a greater expense than had been agreed upon from the start. that was unacceptable to me especially when I had no finances to cover that kind of suggestion.When I went back to collect the laptop they did not return it to me in the original condition I turned over to them in. the bezel was bulging and wires exposed and there is a gaping hole at the bottom of the monitor portion of my laptop. If the people that work for Schrock Innovations are this incompetent then they reflect upon, in my opinion, Thor Schrocks character and professionalism. I brought my computer to them. The idea was to see what hardware could be salvaged to create essentially a brand new computer. They took my computer into their back room and REFUSED to let me see what they were doing to it (should have questioned them and required that I be in the room). 10 minutes later the worker came back out and told me that several items could be used and gave me a quote on building a new system. When I got my computer back home, the computer would not boot and it sent me to the Windows Startup Repair. After quite some time, the computer finally was able to boot and I noticed there was a CD in my Optical Drive. It was labelled Hirens Boot CD. My girlfriend and I went back to Shrocks that evening and we asked why there was a CD in my computer and what they did to it. We got a dumb-founded look and were told they hadnt done anything. When I spelled out what the CD was and how my computer had to repair itself, they tried to tell me that Windows Startup Repair didnt work and that I could graciously keep the CD. They told me they had used the software on the CD to test my hardware because you cant tell how good something is without using the Hiren software. I couldnt find anything that had been placed on the computer, but it continued to act funny. I restored my computer to a previous time and now it works fine. They didnt tell me what they were going to do to my computer, I had to drag it out of them what they did, and the reviews for Hirens are shady.The place does not look or act like a professional business. I recommend staying far away!

Apparently you cant give 0 stars. I could barely get the receptionist to look up and when she did, she looked disgusted and said they could do a data transfer for $150. Then she looked back at her computer. Guess I interrupted.
