Baher changed this experience from negative to positive. We were initially told the vehicle we were interested in was available at the dealership but when we arrived the person we spoke with was leaving and the vehicle wasnt on the lot. We were ready to walk away but Baher was super-friendly and trustworthy and helped us out. We ended up with the car we wanted at a great price. Thank you for helping me buy my first brand new car ❤️

Great service, great deal! Trying to buy a car in winter isnt exactly ideal, but with Joel (my sales rep) and everyone, test-driving, negotiating, asking questions, and the signing was a great experience. As paperwork was being prepped, Joel walked me through all the features, responding to my questions in a helpful manner, and then with the help of Marshall, scouring the Midwest for the color of my choice! Im so grateful to have a new car, peace of mind with my financing, and feeling calm driving away from the dealership! 100% would recommend to family and friends!

If I had more cars to buy right now, I would be going back tomorrow! They will always have my business forever! Baher was the best and same with his manager, Adam! You guys need to go and get yourselves a new Toyota at this dealership because they are fantastic!

All I have to say is Donnie was probably one of the best car sales representatives I have worked with while purchasing a car (minivan this time). He took the time to understand what I needed, why I needed it, what my budget was, and worked in a timely manner. Hopefully in the long-distant future when I need another car, he will be there to help me get another vehicle.

WOW! I found myself in a mess with a newly purchased lemon from another dealership. Terry Zimmerman went above and beyond to get me out of a very unreliable vehicle. Terry introduced me to Donny who really took the time to understand what my vehicle wants and needs were. I was quite discouraged and wasn’t very hopeful that I would be able to find a remedy to my situation, but Donny really came through! Donny found me the perfect vehicle that checked every single box! Gavin in the finance department was equally attentive and helped round out this wonderful car buying experience. I could not be happier! Terry and his amazing Team at Village Point Toyota will forever have my gratitude and business!

HORRIBLE place to buy a used vehicle. Sales people are rude, and I was LIED to by management. We came across a Subaru Outback for a very reasonable price. There was tag that said Auction on the front, and when we asked about it, one of the managers named Joe said that the car was just mislabeled. He said that its common for cars get labeled wrong. He said the the car is completely fine, and they just havent cleaned it out. So we decided to purchase it. One day after buying the car it started smelling like burning rubber, so we took it to the Subaru dealership where they told us the car has major problems and would cost $6000 to fix. The next day we went back to try to talk to the manager Adam. We sat there waiting for 3 HOURS as him, being an extremely busy man was chatting up a storm with every female that walked inside the dealership. Finally, after 3 hours of waiting he called us into his office just to tell us that it was our fault for buying the car, and the best they can do is offer another car ( a chevy equinox ). We. begged for a refund, but he refused. After a while they started threatening us to take the deal or leave, so we had no choice. The finance team was busy, so they told us to take the car and come back 2 hours later for paperwork. The car made very loud noises, and the tires popped as soon as we left the dealership, and they came to pick us back up. Finally they said that we can take the money we bought that car for and put it as a down payment towards any other car. We eventually did put the money down on another vehicle, and they KEPT telling us that they didnt owe us anything and we should be THANKFUL. Its very hard to be thankful when we were tricked into buying a broken car in the first place. We were scammed and lied to, and they refused to refund our money. Later I found out that the car was never mislabeled and it was in-fact headed towards the auction. Its frustrating because there is no way I can prove that I was told the car worked fine, and they had the upper hand with the paperwork we signed, but it just goes to show how these dealerships have no morals.

I dont normally leave reviews but this time its necessary. Seriously, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY.I saw this prius parked out front without a price listed. So, naturally I went in to ask what they wanted for it. Instead of telling me outright, they asked for my personal info and asked what my budget is. I said $20k or less. The associate said he needed to talk to his manager (in said discussion with his manager he covered his face with his hands so we couldnt see). And, what a surprise, he came back and said its $20,000 exactly...After my test drive the associate had the manager come over to talk about it. When my boyfriend asked about any flexibility on price, the manager tried to convince us that he could only budge a couple hundred dollars.. I had the manager print the carfax and we left. They were just very sleazy people so just save your time (and money) and go somewhere else.

I bought a 2006 Prius for my daughters about a month ago. Took it for a test drive and everything seemed ok. As soon as I drove it off the lot, the check engine light came on. Went back to the dealership and they said their service department had “just closed” so had me bring it back the following Monday. The manager called to make sure I understood they were just going to let me know what was wrong and wouldn’t be doing anything about it. I took it to my local Autozone and had them read the code for me and it came back with idle air control system malfunction. They said probably just needed to clean the system. Easy fix. Took it back to Village Pointe and they said it needed to be replaced and would cost $1000-1300. In the meantime the tire pressure light has come on. The “service manager” said the sensors needed to be replaced. Cost? $110 each. I had driven the car less than 50 miles and they were telling me I was looking at another $1700 to fix these problems. Not one offer to work with me. But a couple of weeks later, the general manager called and asked if I left a bad review. I hadn’t but told him I would be. They seemed more concerned about the bad review than actually doing what was right. I had the car serviced at a local shop for $400. They cleaned the intake and did some other minor repairs. Much less than what I was quoted at Village Pointe. This was the third car I purchased there and will definitely be the last. I’d leave zero stars if I could.

Bought a used car and the car had a dead bird under the front bumper when we brought it home. The windshield was cracked but we didnt know till we bought it as is and saw it when the for sale sticker was taken off when taking it home. The car was not cleaned out and had dirt in it from the previous person who had the car. I know it was a used car so it isnt going to be perfect but for my first car as a 16 year old almost a year ago, I would of definitely not have bought this car from the start. If you are going to sell used cars make sure it looks at least new to the kids and others who are buying them so they dont look stupid buying something that is all tore up. Im just disappointed

I’m really not the type to write bad reviews, but I mean it- go to La Vista. I had to go back THREE times after getting my car. Twice to sign paperwork that my finance guy didn’t take care of and once to get my spare key. Each time, I was told “I promise you’ll never have to come in again! We’ll have someone deliver anything else to you!” I called and called about my spare key and was told each time it was already mailed out (spoiler alert it wasn’t). They changed my loan information the day after I walked out with the car and I felt trapped since I had already signed paperwork for the car. Because the financial guy made an error. I ended up having to pay way more than I originally signed for and it was an overall huge headache for several days. I love my car, a 2021 RAV4, but seriously, go get it at La Vista.

The sales people and managers I dealt with before the sale were absolutely wonderful and if not the best, it was among the best experiences I’ve had after buying more new cars in my lifetime than I could count. The people called business managers....those who process the paperwork and try to sell you things like extended warranties and paint protection, did not fully approach the high levels of customer orientation exhibited by the sales staff. However, what minor issues I had were taken care of personally by the very customer oriented General Manager, Terry Zimmerman. Based upon my experience, and after having dealt with 3 other Toyota dealerships, both in and out of Nebraska, I would highly recommend a visit to this dealership if you’re considering purchasing a new Toyota. And if by chance you run into any problems, ask to speak with Terry!

This is all after my first bad experience of going to Village Pointe Toyotas website where the truck is listed for 44k, with no other price listed for the truck, but when i went into the dealership they said the truck is 69k, i feel I was misled and false advertising took place.

CAUTION - Service Dept pushes unnecessary work and claims it is Toyota recommendedI took my 2017 Toyota Tundra in for 45k service and part of their recommended services included 3 different fuel system/air intake cleaning services. They recommended (1) fuel injection cleaning service, (2) throttle body service and (3) top end engine d-carb. They gave me a quick summary of the services saying they are recommended by Toyota at 45k. I am a first time Toyota owner so I figured it was necessary. I also like to trust people so I said okay to the service person when I was checking the vehicle in.The total cost of these 3 services was $430 and I had never heard of two of these services in 30 years of owning vehicles. So, I did some research and spoke to 3 different professional mechanics who all told me the only one of the 3 services that was necessary was the fuel injection cleaning service. I spoke to Toyota Corporation who went through the service manual with me and confirmed these services are not recommended or necessary. I spoke to a Toyota service manager in a different state to see if they recommend the throttle body and top end engine d-carb (2 & 3 above) and the service manager said emphatically, no - it is not necessary or recommended by Toyota. The service folks at Village Pointe Toyota are convincing when you are talking with them. They point out they do these services all the time for everyone. Somehow that makes you feel better at the time you are paying hundreds of dollars for maintenance services that are not necessary or recommended by Toyota Corp. I talked with the Village Pointe service manager and explained the information I received from the different professionals I spoke with and asked them for a refund of these unnecessary services and they declined my request and talked about how their dealership service center is different and has all this fancy technology to allow them to better maintain Toyota vehicles.....blah, blah, blah.Throughout the process of trying to address my concerns with being sold services that were unnecessary, I did file a complaint with Toyota Corporation. Toyota Corp told me they were contacting the dealership and a customer service representative from Village Pointe would call me the next day before noon. Village Pointe did not call me. I would try to call the Village Pointe Toyota service manager and would languish on hold for 8 minutes one time just to be told neither of the managers I was trying to contact was available. Next day was 10 minutes of hold and the same thing.BOTTOM LINE: Be very cautious if you go to Village Pointe Toyota for service. What they recommend as a Toyota dealership does not match what Toyota Corporation recommends and it cost me a lot of money and frustration. Steer clear.

After contacting them for a vehicle that we were interested in purchasing, my wife, children, and I went for a test drive. At least thats what we thought. Upon arrival, there were three gentlemen outside trying to remove a license plate. They saw us, but none of them came to greet us. By the way they were dressed, they were salespeople. As we walked into the building, I noticed a couple of employees talking at the cubicles. Another two employees, one being a salesperson, chatting at the other end. They all noticed our presence, and the best we got was a nod. We stood there, in the middle of the showroom, waiting for someone to at least say hello, but no one came. An employee walked past us and did not say a word, and gave us a nod. Yet, when an older couple made their way into their showroom, one of the salespeople immediately jumped into action and went to talk to them. After a good ten minutes being ignored, we decided to leave. My wife tried to call the manager, but they kept putting her off.Well, they lost a sure sale. Im writing this review 2 years after I bought my truck from them, because they still stand out as the worst retail and service experiences Ive ever had. Retail and service experiences below.Retail Experience:They bought my business with a screamin deal on a new Tacoma, but then they forgot to order it and lied to me multiple times over a 6-month period when I inquired as to why it was taking so long to receive. Their answer when the dust settled: We had a bad sales manager that neglected to order cars for several people. They gave me an additional $500 off, but I would have rather had my truck months earlier. Also, the finance manager (while friendly), didnt have the pricing right. Needless to stay, stay sharp, the negotiating is only half done when you think youve got a price nailed down.Service Experience:Took my new truck in for its first oil change. Noticed oil dripping in my driveway when I got home. Entire underside of the truck was covered in oil and the oil filter retaining clip was broken off. Took it back to them and looked at it on the lift with a Toyota service tech and the service manager. This revealed a couple things. First - they have a lube guy do their oil changes and not a certified Toyota mechanic. Not a big deal if they do it right (they dont), but for the record, Toyota includes the first 2 oil changes for free *by a certified Toyota mechanic*. The certified mechanic was pretty unconcerned when they brought him over, aside from the fact that they made a mess out of the underside of my brand new truck. He then proceeded to tell me that they break the oil filter retaining clip off of every Toyota they service because its not necessary. They make up for this by over-torqueing the oil filter housing. News flash guys: Toyota put it there for a reason. Dont go breaking stuff off of new vehicles because its convenient for your lube guy.TLDR: Bad purchase experience and appalling service practices.

I rarely leave 1 star bad reviews.I had to with this dealership. We were shopping for a new Toyota.Had the Nissan in as a trade in and they offered $100 for it and said they were going to scrap it and put that value in towards the new Toyota Camry purchase. The Nissan had nothing wrong with it, it had new tires and brand new brake pads put on it by a certified engineer and he also thoroughly inspected the car a few months before we brought it to Village Pointe Toyota. They stated the brakes are shot and the motor is about to go out on the Nissan. Clearly insulting and unprofessional.TRIED taking advantage of my wife convincing her that the car is worthless. It was a 2012 1 owner, clean title with all maintenance up to date.Ended up after days of wasted time begging her to come back with series of text messages and calls, they offered her $3,000 for her car as a trade in. Thats one expensive trade in to scrap it right?I will never do business with them for a Toyota. I feel bad for the countless people they have taken advantage of.I also stated I wanted to purchase a brand new Toyota Supra within 1 year and they didnt take me seriously as well.Baxter Toyota earned my business months later.Save your time and dont play the number game with them. They will walk all over you and fish for profits any way they can when you are considering trading in your car.

We had front suspension parts that were worn, so we went ahead with all the front suspension quoted since the labor would justify all being done at one time. They completed their work and turned the van back to us, but they apparently missed the lower control arm bushings were worn since the next oil service they determined they were so bad they were a safety hazard. I was informed they were in such bad condition that they were falling apart on inspection. They don’t deteriorate so fast that they wouldn’t have shown to be possibly replaced on the previous visit. Also, the van was taken out of town following the recall and the sliding door motor and cable repair. I learned the window shade would no longer roll up and down into the window as it had prior to the service. I had it looked at on this visit and was told by the advisor Matt Sell that it was checked and it worked fine. When I picked it up, I noticed it was still not working. When I questioned him, he first deflected saying he was told it didn’t work, but then he questioned if I was telling the truth on when it was inoperative. The whole interaction from the phone conversations to in-person were condescending from him and disingenuous. I feel the service center is just trying to squeeze more labor dollars out by not doing the job 100 percent so it will be caught on the next service to get the extra labor to do more involved jobs twice or more.I will not recommend this service center to anyone and I am surprised they operate that way as I am a former Toyota Corp employee of three years.Do not take your vehicle to Village Pointe Toyota!

Jason was extremely helpful, he was able to get the vehicle I wanted at the price I wanted and it even came with some extras. He gave me a very fair price on my trade-in vehicle too so I didnt even have to negotiate the pricing. Sarah was great too, she had an overwhelming amount of knowledge on the protection plans and gave me advice on my specific needs. I wasnt actually fully prepared to trade for a new vehicle as I only planned on looking but Jason and Sarah made everything work out and didnt try rushing or forcing me into something I didnt want. I just wish the paper work was a little faster but they did their best with the resources they had. Thank you everyone! I love my new rav4!

Village Pointe Toyota has proved excellent customer service THREE times for my family in the last year. They worked with us to finance a 2012 Camry, a 2019 Corolla and a 2018 RAV4 while abiding to our budgets and vehicle desires. The stress-free buying process and honesty with miscommunication has me hooked as a customer for life.I can’t thank Joel (and his team top to bottom!) enough for going above and beyond to help me find a vehicle tough enough to get through Nebraska winters.I received this hand written thank you note in the mail today. Great, heartwarming customer service is still very much alive at Village Pointe Toyota!

Updated Review:Adam, the General Sales Manager, reached out to me the same day I wrote of my experiences. I am extremely impressed. Village Pointe is lucky to have him with his customer service, leadership, and manager skillset. He listened and asked questions to fully identify the problems; he shared some adjustments he had already made in addition to discussing actions that would be taken with my particular incident to prevent this type of problem from happening again; and most of all for me personally, he made it right. He did all of this without excuses or the blame game. He is a true professional focused on improving the customer experience at all levels rather than just putting out fires.Thank you!Original Review:I paid cash for a vehicle on 8/29. For the sales person during the actual sale experience I would give a 4; He is enthusiastic but rather raw. For delivery arrangements by the inexperienced sales associate and his lack of communication, a 1. The actual delivery people and their role, a 5 for good communication and pleasant transaction. For the finance dept, initial experience was 1-2 with high pressure techniques. For finance dept follow through, I would give a negative 5 if I could. I have been trying for 13 days to resolve an extended warranty issue. On 9/29, I received a letter stating the vehicle was not going to be covered due to age. My temporary tags were to expire at the end of the day 9/30. I called. The finance associate assured me it would be taken care of. He promised to call back, but did not follow through. I reached him 9/30 by phone. He had no answers but said he would soon. He did follow through with an email later that day as per my request stating he still didnt know anything. I then reached out 10/1 and 10/6 via email for an update but with no response. On 10/10, I received another letter stating the policy is still denied. On 10/13, I called to speak with a manager but have yet to speak with anyone about the issue. They have had my money for a useless policy since 8/29 and it is now 10/13. Meanwhile, I have paid $750 plus local taxes of 8.95%. for a denied policy. All I want is my money back for the policy plus the taxes I paid when I registered my vehicle but I cant even reach a live person to resolve this.

My husband and I had a great experience at Village Pointe Toyota. We were lucky enough to work with Ramy Abaza who could not have made the experience better. He went above and beyond to provide information and answers to questions we didn’t even think to be asking. Ramy took so much time to help us make the right choice in purchasing a car that will work best for our growing family. Everything we asked for was right the first time and we never had to go through the hassle and headache of making any adjustments with the car we were guaranteed. The positive experiences we had ensures we will be back to VP Toyota for our next car purchase!

We had waited 6+ months for our Rav4 Hybrid from Village Pointe. Once Rusty Russell was assigned to our order, our new car arrived in about 4 weeks. He is professional and knowledgeable. Rusty carefully explained the new features of our new vehicle. He returns phone calls and text messages promptly. We appreciate his help and love our new car. Adam Westover also was very helpful with working with Rusty Russell and us!

The mechanical work here is sound as far as Ive experianced. This toyota repair center is Not owned by Toyota; is what the service manager tells me.Although they also proceeded that with: Toyota and Lexus are not the same company.Thats news to me. I thought Lexus and Toyota were 2 brands made by Toyota Motor Company. Luxury Export for U.S. I think. At any rate Ill let you dig up that information if you want. This facility does however fly the Toyota flag and charge premium prices for work that needs urgently done... its been over a year and Ive saved alot of money not listening to them. But rather checking their facts? / list with other machanics.Lexus is half the price, has better customer service, and better vehicle care while performing all the same vehicle repairs that toyota does. They seem to do a better engine inspection as well on my toyota. In fact. Lexus. pointed out an engine flaw that toyota hasnt noticed after 2 visits.Toyota also gave me an overpriced list of needed repairs that I was told to get fixed before leaving toyota.....I took that list to other mechinis for confirmation.. who not only got the parts and did the work cheaper a year later... but let me know it was indeed not urgent at all, and they were right. Hints the second trip a year later to toyota Without those repairs yet done.As for settling theres really not really a need.Although I am also not convinced anything would result differently. The screenshot below is of a decent review of a car purchase with a single complaint that the gas tank was near empty and battery not charged on a Prius Despite an agreement; yet nothing seems to have been done accept a thank you for the decent review.I guess the profit margin wasnt large enough to cover an apology or a tank of gas? Either way like I said the mechanical work here is sound as far as Ive experianced to date, But Im not likely to comment here again.

I had a wonderful purchasing experience with Mike and the rest of the staff here. They are very friendly and will do everything they can to get you what you need. After my purchase, Mike offered to get me free car washes whenever I was in the area and he has been true to his word! This is my first Toyota and I am loving it so far. I highly recommend Mike Hansen and Village Pointe Toyota! Also, I usually dread dealing with the finance guy but my meeting with Sharif was the best experience Ive had with a dealership finance person.

Update 2019:I went to give them business again and the car salesman Mike Hansen said, “I don’t really care if you buy it or not” comment to me that completely turned me away. Anyway, they missed a 50+k sale. I’ve found the car I wanted at a 6% interest rate at another dealership. I flew out to Tampa to get it.These people will never get my business again. If your customer service isn’t top notch, I’ll take my business elsewhere.8/2015They tried to make good with my trade in and did so. Deana Juelfs (sorry if misspelled) took care of me on some things that were misunderstood on the deal. She deserves five stars and is a good asset to Village Pointe. I overall had a good experience with this place and would buy my next vehicle with them again.

We bought a used 2012 camry from this dealer just couple months ago. Yesterday the car battery is dead, there are no emergency keys attached to remote keys, unable to open the car s door w/ out emergency keys. They should had let us know about missing emergency keys. When we removed the battery and we saw the word bad written on the battery. So we went to Costco to buy new battery and trade in bad battery, We would never buy cars from this dealer again.

Gave me a really good deal on a brand new car, but have a horrible service crew.Got a nail in my tire and asked them to repair it. As a former service manager, I am quite familiar with standards and restrictions of tire repair. The service advisor tried to sell me a new tire stating that it was too close to the outer wall, to which I showed him a photo I had on my phone showing otherwise. He refused to repair the tire again attempting the tire sale, and I respectfully declined. Took it to a local tire shop, and they laughed at what occurred and gladly repaired the tire. Usually hate being the bad guy with service departments, but had to quit the business because I could not bring myself to scam people of their hard earned money for a paycheck, and you won’t earn much of one without it.This dealer offers complimentary washes to which I asked for while we were there. It was covered with bugs, so why not take advantage of it, right? A worker took the car, ran it through and brought it back still all wet. Bugs still covered the front, so I asked for a towel and dried it off in front of them while they drove around me. I washed it again at home to compete what they could not. I would have never let this happen to any of my former customers, so keep it in mind when dealing with them.

Please use caution at this location as two of the staff there were not wearing masks. Even though it is mandated in the city, I observed two female staff without masks. One sits near the entrance of the service department where customers come in and out. The other lady sits at the cashiers desk. I observed them walking around and not in a contained area. One also made a few trips to the bathroom without the proper protection. I find this very concerning since they are in both customer facing positions and appalled that the company is okay with causing potential harm to their customers, most of which were older in the lobby. We have 140k new cases of corona just today alone across the U.S. so you would think this would be important.

Transaction was done mainly via internet and it was a nice experience. I highly recommend Village Pointe Toyota especially Cody Dineen in sales who was very professional, accommodating and he knows well what he is selling. Cody was not judgmental and will try the best that he can to accommodate requests even if it seems unrealistic to his manager Adam. I will definitely do business with them again in the future and recommend them to others. A well deserved five star for their service.
