They take really good care of you. And don’t over charge you on your car repairs.

Been using Star for the last couple of years and have no regrets. They’re always quick, affordable, and honest. I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else in Omaha.

They did a great job replacing my fuel pump. They even let me know i only had one strap for fuel tank when i needed two!!! Now thats the kind of customer service i want!!!👍

Star Auto Repair is the best. I recommend everyone to take their car there for repair. Rene and his staff are very professional. They get the job done right and in a timely manner. The prices are reasonable, they dont charge you for things you dont need like other places. I highly recommend them to everyone. I wouldnt let anyone else work on my car.

This small repair shop does amazing work at a very reasonable price. They get the job done right and quickly (usually within a couple of hours). Ive been to Star Auto 3 times now and each and every time, the work and service has been exemplary.

I recently took my car to Star Auto and Im very satisfied with my experience. I needed a car inspection for my job and they were the cheapest by far. I got other quotes for an inspection and one was $115, whereas Star did it for $35.I needed suspension work done and again they were $75 cheaper than the cheapest quote I got. They installed struts, ball joints, and sway bar links in a little over 2 hours. I would say that the only hang about this place is the place itself, there are all kinds of leaks in the ceiling. With that being said, big deal. I got quality work done fast at a reasonable price. I will take my business back to Star in the future, no doubt about it...

Fast and cheap!

These guys were awesome! They took me without an appointment, on a holiday no less! They checked my vehicle out thoroughly and made me a list of things that needed repairs but were not pressing. There was a safety issue with one problem. They were closing early yet they stayed about an hour after closing to fix the problem so I could drive 2hrs back home safely. Outstanding!

I had a blown engine in my vehicle due to a presumed oil leak that was ignored by the person I loaned it to, the cost to repair was more than the vehicle was worth at every shop I checked, but I was referred to Star when I was pretty much at the point of giving up and junking the car.I was admittedly skeptical with the price I was quoted for the work as it was more than affordable, I expected it to somehow balloon after my car was taken apart but I decided to chance it, They did in fact successfully replace the motor for the price they quoted me, and the vehicle is running great!I will ABSOLUTELY be back for anything I need, and would recommend these guys highly as they were extremely affordable, met the price they quoted me with absolutely no surprises, and did a great job!Seriously cannot say enough positive things, these guys were professional, friendly and competent!Edit : I forgot they also noticed the first engine they were provided by the shop I purchased a salvage motor from was not very good, rather than simply install it knowing they could probably charge me to replace it when there were problems they called me, let me know and even communicated with the supplier that sold the motor to get a replacement sent out!

Best service and prices. They actually stand behind their word. Rare thing in todays world. Plus they work on anything. Thats amazing also.

Got a flat right outside of here this morning thanks to all of the lovely spring potholes, and thankfully was helped by two gentlemen waiting for the shop to open. They recommended the place highly, but I had to go to work down the street — came back over my lunch break on their recommendation and got a new tire for $40! (My old one was too far gone.) Fantastic. I was so impressed with their service and availability.

My girlfriend had a squealing noise from her tire. Took it in to Rene and they looked at it immediately. They were originally worried the brake lines needed replaced but it ended up being just the rotors and calipers. They were very honest and let us check out the progress as they went. They got the work done as quick as possible and charged us a very fair price. Can’t say enough good about them. Give them your business and you won’t be disappointed.

Great service affordable repair work

Very friendly. Most speak Spanish but there are 2 or 3 translators. I think they are in the middle of a remodel due to the fact theres hardly a waiting area and its so so cold in there. They have kept my car running no matter what type. They do however charge a 40 dollar fee to look at your car if it happens to be something major but they have never done that to me. I had a Ford Escort a few years back and my timing went out and that was the only shop Ive come across that fixed a timing issue for 200 dollars less than the other mechanics I came across (this includes mechanics I have known for years). Worth a shot in my opinion.

I took my 2005 Mercury Montego here. They work very fast and are very cheap! I will take my car here again if necessary.(Update) Took my car in to get a check engine light checked out and the car also wasnt riding normal. I took it in and after a day from getting it back I still had the same issue. They told me I might need to take my car to an authorized dealer or bring it back in and be charged for additional fees. I didnt take my car back.
