I was just in there and I believe his name is Jon, he is so sweet and incredibly helpful. There’s a shortage of chlorine tablets but he was able to help me find a product to help me with my small pool for my child. The product was incredibly affordable and it was no problem doing the dimensional analysis to figure out the amount needed. He didn’t give up on me. He was very busy but he showed the same amount of respect for each client.

Excellent Customer Service. Fair and reasonably priced. John in store was very helpful answering my questions and getting service scheduled for my hot tub repair to fit my schedule Jim their hot tub repair guy very knowledgeable and helpful.I recommend The Pool Guy Plus.

So my pump went out on my 2 year old set up from Intex and parts discontinued. I called a few places and went into The Pool Guys . The gentleman working knew I was stressed about having to spend the money on a new pump that I wasn’t even sure it would interchange . He didn’t try to up sell me stuff and reassured me this certain system would work. He was right and despite having to replace a pump that I should not have had to so soon I was able to get it up and running and cheaper then I would have if I would have went to Tacoma or any where else . Thank you. And he was very friendly. I like that he didn’t try to sell me stuff that I already had

We ordered a hot tub in May. We were told it would come in September due to corona virus slowing things down. It is now November and we have yet to receive our hot tub. We have contacted this company three times. Each time we have been given a different date when we will get our hot tub. We were told it was in production in October and would get it in November. The latest is that the hot tub company can’t find our invoice or order. Now they have no idea when our tub will be built. They will also not refund our money.I disagree with the owner’s response. We were told 13 weeks, never 5 months. And it has already been more than 5 months. We have called multiple times and visited the store and been told a different answer each time. We were told it was in production at one point and would be ready in November. Now when we ask, we were told that can’t even be tracked. We do not believe that our hot tub is being made or will come in December. We understand that it was going to be delayed due to the virus, but we have been lied to for the last two months and told multiple different scenarios. We were also told that now we would have to pay for delivery even though our invoice clearly states free delivery within 40 miles of the store.

Failed to deliver requested service, billed full price anyway. After numerous calls, the owner promised a refund and then refused to honor that promise, too. Theres a word for people who promises to do something and then refuse to do it: liars.

What a hassle. Hot tub stopped producing heat. Called the Pool Guy. They came out and figured out the problem. They did not have the part so set up to order it. Turned out the part had to be made. Frustrating but comes with the territory. After 6 weeks they got the part and came out an installed it. They left but when I filled it back up the display did not work and a connection that had not leaked before started leaking. I was charged another trip charge to have the display connection that the “tech” installed upside down removed and flipped and to diagnose the leak.The new leak required a new valve to have to be custom made. This again took weeks.I filled the tub and now the the pump was leaking when it was running and slowly when not runningI discussed this with them. The soonest they could get someone out was November 21st so about a month. It is what it is so I set that up. I told them clearly I would be in Columbia on vacation that day. I was told by the owner that would not be a problem. We discussed me emptying the tub so it did not freeze and crack. He went so far asTo tell me where the hose was to empty it. I told him I knew and would empty what was left after the water loss from the leaking pump.Today I get a call in Columbia saying I needed to go home and fill the tub so the tech could find problem. I reminded the owner that I was on vacation and he told me to empty the tub. He laughed at me and said he also told me to fill it on the morning of the 21st. Obviously not the case.Here i am 7 months without a working hot tub and out over $800! I’m about ready to toss this hot tub and get a new one!

Called to find pool salt and he was very helpful. Had the salt in stock and even took all 4 40 pound bags out to my truck and helped load them. We will definitely use The Pool Guy Plus for our pool and spa needs.

While I dislike the way this company handled our initial complaints and refused to respond to us umtil we posted a negative review I feel it’s the honorable thing to do to update my review to say that they came out, fixed everything that the worker did wrong and even cleaned up his work so that it looked better.Communication is the cornerstone to solving problems in any industry and It shouldn’t be this hard. Had I not had to contend with the negative response below I would been able t just delete this post completely. Happy to delete if you delete your accusation that we lied which we really didn’t.

They don’t take responsibility for the quality of work they perform. They will insist on charging for trips even when the previous work was unsatisfactory or incomplete. Abusive and disrespectful store manager who vents his frustration and anger on customers.
