Came for new snow tires and my boyfriend worked it all out the pricing over the phone before arriving. Arrived for 8 am appointment, did Check-in and by 8:07 my car was being taken in. Took little over a hour for tires and alignment. Sat outside but have waiting area but smell of tires gets to me. Guy came outside to get me when done.Handed me the bill and said my boyfriend took care of it and I was good to go. Wow. Nice surprise. Get to my car have 4 beautiful tires with some serious tread. My boyfriend sure does love me. Great experience

I have to say that this town fair tires has the best and fastest service. Roger the store manager was extra polite and helpful with me, my car needed tires immediately specially that I have a little one and winter is coming.He got me in as soon as possible and in a few hours I was ready to go. My car now drives smoothly and is ready for any upcoming weather and all thanks to the store manager Roger. I will definitely bring my car again with no doubt.

This location is not a reflection on my experience with other Town Fair Tire locations, where I’ve had good experiences. This one, in particular, is TERRIBLE. They ordered tires for me, I showed up at 8am in the morning to get the install, they ordered the wrong tires, they said the right ones would be in by 2pm, I called at 3pm and they said one was there but the other would be there…. No one called, I called the next day, still no answer on when they’d be there. I call Monday, 5 times, just to talk to someone that can give me an answer. I was hung up on 4 of those times. They finally got me scheduled for the next day, I show up, go to the desk, the guy working there looks at me, doesn’t say a word, does a bunch of paperwork, then goes and sits in an office. I have to search the store to find someone to help me. That guy looks it up, walks away and tells someone else to do it. This place is crazy, they just don’t care.

Roger and his team were extremely helpful, professional, and timely with their services. I cannot thank them enough. I came to them after my tire blew on the highway and they turned my day around. Excellent experience. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Excellent customer service from start to end. Roger guided us, as senior citizens, every step of the way from our one unrepairable tire to a full set of four tires to replace ones we never truly liked and included a much appreciated financial discount. I probably three or four sets of tires in the last 24 months between my personal and business vehicles all at town fair tire. Not necessarily this location. Service is typically pretty good and the tires have all had no issues. Today I am in for a tire plug because I ran over some thing. While looking at other style tires because mine have 40,000 miles on them I was very hastily told that I was not allowed to walk around the show room I must stand out front or in the sitting area. This has nothing to do with Covid I just simply can’t look at tires. If the show room is closed to people then there should be chains up so no one can walk by the tires. Or Signs. There are none. I’m assuming this is someone’s ego trip as opposed to an actual company policy.

Town Fair Tire has always treated me in a manor that goes way beyond common courtesy. That said the Old Saybrook team are absolute ALL-STARS. Jose helped me find a set of tires that would not only keep me safe through the New England winter but fit into my limited price range as this pandemic has been a difficult time to say the least. Not 3 weeks later a freak occurrence dodging a deer left me with a hole in the sidewall of 1 of my brand new tires the size of my thumb (100% unrepairable). Keep in mind Town Fair were fully within their right to charge me full price to replace the mangled tire. I explained what happened to Jose & despite the fact that they already had a full day scheduled they replaced the tire for me FREE OF CHARGE! Who does that. A big thank you to Jose & the whole OS Town Fair family, you have a lifetime customer in me. If you’re smart you’ll follow my lead!!!!

Went here to get an alignment from their other location in new london and boy was I disappointed. The store in new london tried to upsale a package when I just needed 2 tires balanced. Got customer service got my money back but asked to have my alignment rechecked due to the poor workmanship poor hospitality and negative vibe from the service advisor. Got to old saybrook the service advisor there looked me up and down failed to even say welcome to firestone and when I told him what I needed he blatantly picked up the phone and proceeded to take care of the phone call. They fixed my alignment issue but come to fine out they took the balancer off. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

They evaluated my car, explained the need for my new tires and helped me pick the tires that were best for my budget. Came into Town Fair Tire needing 4 new tires that day. Had done research on the tire I wanted and about how much I wanted to spend. Came into Old Saybrook and found out the tires I saw were not in stock. Darby, the guy at the front desk, took the time to show all the price differences and benefits to all the tires that were in inventory. He went above and beyond with getting as close as possible to what I was trying to spend as well as getting a better quality tire. Really appreciate the time spent and him looking out for the customer. Highly recommend

I had a great experience with these guys today. I had a special order last week for the tires on my M5. The price was extremely competitive they got the tires in scheduled me first thing in the morning and had it done quickly. Thew car has black rims so I was concerned going in, but they look perfect. Ive been going to this town fair tire location for some time now and Hardy is always helpful and efficient. The manager, whose name I forgot, was very helpful my last visit there this afternoon. I even brought my daughter there to get new rims and tires and were very satisfied. Will definitely continue coming to this location.

The customer service is deprolable.I bought tires during the week for over $1000. Not only did nobody wipe down the smudges on the wheels when you changed the tires, and not reset the tire pressure monitor, but the next day I get on the highway and the car shakes... its probably just a wheel weight... but if I call the old saybrook store, I will wait on hold for 10 min to reach someone in a call center who will just transfer me back to the specific locations hold music, if I press 1 to have someone call me back without losing my place in line I get a call back 1 min later from someone in a call center who will just transfer me back to hold at the location in trying to reach.... what is the point?Lastly, even though I have purchased tires during the week and the service was not up to par... you are making no effort to squeeze me in or work with my schedule to effectively complete the work that was already payed for.

I’m not sure what is going in with Town Fair. I have taken my cars there for years but the customer service and the way they do business has changed. They needed a part for my car and Instead of shopping the part overnight to get the car done..li was told they had to wait for bulk shipment from California as if California is China. Never did they let me know it was going to be this long or keep me informed. It’s not the same company it used to be, very disappointing.

Needed new tires and dropped in to get info and pricing. Very nice guy helped me out but I could tell he was new. Still did a nice job and when in the store as he was struggling a bit to give me pricing the manager stepped in, helped his new guy out and took over more or less which was good. He knew his stuff and recommended another tire brand that first guy hadn’t mentioned. They were on sale and a very good price. I did some research on them and called the next day to set an appointment. Everything was done perfectly and everyone I dealt with was friendly and courteous. Very good experience.

I had 4 specialty tires replaced today. We were taken good care of by Hardy. He had the tires in stock and was friendly and efficient and made the whole experience enjoyable. It only took about 40 minutes to complete the entire process.

Still had me out before closing time, but didnt rush me. Ive gone other places for tires before, but this service is the best Ive had.

I woke up to a flat tire on Monday. I brought it to town fair and they were able to patch it for me for free! They went out of their way to check the air in my spare since they knew I planned to drive on it while they fixed the tire.They were able to get me in quickly to replace it which was super helpful since it has been a hectic week. The store is great both the manager Adam and the assistant manager Josh had excellent customer service I had to stop in with an emergency on my way home from work first thing in the morning after working all night and they got me right in the back... and back on the road again in less than an hour with two tires for under $150 mounted balanced and on the car.... Adam was absolutely fantastic; I came in with a donut in and needed a tire and a wheel that needed to be ordered. When the wheel came in, Adam got my car in within the hour because he remembered I had a daughter at daycare I needed to pick up by 5. It was phenomenal service and I will be returning in the future and WILL be recommending this location to friends!

I bought 4 new tires at the end of January. I noticed a strange sound afterwards. So I brought my Vehicle back the following week. Told them what was happening. No questions asked, they just swapped out the tires. They didn’t treat me like a woman and give me some BS Response about how that’s normal. They took care of business. I always go here to get my tires and rotations, but after this great customer service I’m sold. I will always go to town fair tire of old Saybrook. Oh, and the strange sound is no more...

Brought my car in last weekend, made an appointment a few days ahead of time to get my winter tires taken off and my all-season tires put on. It took a long time to get my car taken back and the changeover took way longer than I was told. I wouldnt have waited for the car if I knew it was going to take longer than 2 hours. Dont come here if youre looking for a quick fix, expect long wait times and poor customer service.

Overall I believe Town Fair Tire is a great place to get an affordable job done. I recently had a snow tire changeover and waited nearly three hours. Kenny apologized and showed genuine concern for how long the job was taking. Without even asking he gave me an incredible deal and because of his customer service, I will be back again next time.

Went to their store to have one damaged tire replaced. Waited two and a half hours, and then found that they had replaced the wrong tire.It was their mistake, they had written the wrong tire on the work order.To their credit, the manager came out acknowledge the problem I apologized and then replaced the correct tire.Received a call from the store manager the day after this incident happened.He was concerned about how long does it have taken and apologize for the mistakes that caused the issue in the first place.He then invited me back down to the store and made some changes to my account to try and make the situation right.He is an excellent example of what a concerned and caring manager should be.He truly went above and beyond to make sure this was right and that I was happy.Excellent work

I had the fortunate accident to be able to meet the fantastic crew last week when I had to be towed in. It was a stressful day and they took the time to explain what needed to be done. Thu was excellent in recommending a replacement for my damaged tire and lead tech Larry was kind enough to get it on before he left for the day. I can not say enough good things.

Made an appointment for a tire to be patched. Brought my car in for a 12pm appointment. 1:20pm car was still sitting in the parking lot not even looked at. I had asked when I arrived if they were running on schedule otherwise I would come back. I was told my car was “next”. 3 other cars without appointments got pulled in before mine. When I complained they said oh we are pulling it in right now. I took my keys and left. Brought to Monroe who pulled it in within 5 minutes and repaired the tire. Terrible experience

This was a good location, with a wide array of tires to choose from. Top of the line to cheap options available, willing to negotiate price and for me same day service. Overall I was happy with my quote for the 4 tires I wanted installed and alignment, and on the day I went, it was the cheapest quote given to me and I compared 6 locations, including Costco. A text when service was started and finished was a really useful benefit of using TFT.

Been there a few times ok service. But today a family member had a flat called to see when they closed and went down only to be told they wouldnt take him. Do you think when they called that was some important info so they would have went some were else.😞😞😞 not at all good customer service. I went in yesterday for a flat tire fix and balancing. Adam also suggested an alignment which my car was overdue for. Work was done by the time he said, and he was helpful but not pushy, which I appreciate.

Really informative, Ive taken my car there a couple times. They are always honest about what service I do and dont need (no high pressure upselling). A month later I had a bleed in my new tire which turned out to be because of an old corroded tpms valve, not their fault but they still fixed it with no cost to me. I appreciate it and will definitely be back!

This week at the Old Saybrook, CT TFT was no different, EXCEPT ...What WAS different was Jose, an employee who went ABOVE & BEYOND. Ratings: Jose=5+. TFT=3. Overall, then=4. *JOSE* saved the day!!!

Went in for four new tires and alignment. The guys that work their are really nice and informative. They did great work.

My huband is finally finished with this place, went this morning @9:30 am only one car there. Sat and waited until 11:30 to get his car. Got home and the front driver side tire is completely off the rim.Every Time he goes there we end up with a flat tire or losing air. They have thee worst customer service. Giving one star is too much. Checking previous review manager response is cut and copied with no satisfaction offered to customers. Better business bureau should be contacted.
