Great service by the guys at Old Saybrook Enterprise. Ron made the whole process super smooth. Car was clean and ready to go upon arrival.

We rented a Dodge Grand Caravan to move our daughter from CT to NYC. It handled well through narrow streets (undoubtedly my hubbies expert driving!) and parking wasnt as bad as we anticipated. They took out the seats we didnt need so we had room for the 7 foot bed frame. Make sure they put the drivers manual in the glove compartment - that would have been super helpful for all those little questions that come up after you get going. This is the second car weve rented from this location and were still pleased with how easy it is to reserve, rent, and return a vehicle!

Fast easy but hard to drive the cargo van

It was great! Everything went like clockwork which was great as we were arriving and departing CT by train. At the last minute my husband realized he had left a shoulder bag in the SUV. A very nice young man drove back over to the station with the bag—and we successfully caught out train. It was so courteous.

I have been send two upgrades for a vehicle rental one for my birthday and one for promotional reasons. Last week when I went to rent a car a use of the upgrades for a day trip with my daughter it was refused. I have been a loyal customer with Enterprise and have all my employees use them but after that mess Im looking elsewhere. Bad PR in this environment. Greg

After a long ride to return a van, we weren’t allowed to use their bathroom. It’s not like I was somebody from the public just stopping in to use the bathroom; I paid a lot of money for this van. You would think that with the amount of money we spent they could afford to have somebody cleaning their bathrooms. But it’s OK that we touch their vehicles, their pens, they take our credit card and we have social interaction. Just bad customer service and not caring about individuals. Only caring about the money.

The truck bed was dirty, obvious no attempt to clean with a broom. Food particles in console, made me wonder about cleaning process. Paint specs on drivers side windows would not come off with windex.

The assistant manager Connor at the Norwich CT 06360 location was excellent and provided excellent customer service but unfortunately that was overshadowed by the service I was given during an extension of my contact by another associate by the name of ismael who mislead and misinformed me about a “weekend rate” were I was blindsided and my security deposit was taken and not refunded in there words due to “not being able to take payments over the weekend” but that is a ridiculous statement because my credit card was charged that same day (keep in mind it was Friday) by the company. I ultimately ended my contact and went to hertz because of incident and it’s sad because I’ve always be a supportive customer of enterprise prior to this foul service. I will be following the proper channels to get this situation rectified and advise anyone else to do the same!!!!

Professional staff, clean cars

I was expecting a VW since it showed a picture of one for the car I picked, come to find out they do not rent VWs anymore, website should be updated! also the car reeked like cigarettes, I should of brought it back bur just didnt have the time.

Rented a midsized car. Car was clean and efficient. Staff only okay!

This was my second rental in a week. The car I reserved was not at the lot at time of pick- up. I was given an upgrade from what was on the lot. Work out just great for me. First time I ever drove a BMW. The manager and others that work there were very good to deal with during both pick-up and drop off.

I have been renting cars from the Old Saybrook branch of Enterprise for a while. I have always been well taken care of. Even under the complications of COVID-19, I received excellent service from the staff.

I was having work done on my personal vehicle at ine of the dealerships down the road. The gentleman who picked me up was very nice, and friendly.The Associate who took care of me and set me up with the rental was very informative as to letting me know how my warranty would assist in paying. She too was very friendly, professional and down to earth which made the whole experience a positive one.Great team!Thank you!

Great location and great staff.I’ve been using Enterprise truck since a long time in every state but this location is by far the best ever.

I love the service. I know I will always receive a clean vehicle. You may not think that is a big deal but it can be when you are paying for your rental.

The car spelled like an ashtray and no one at Enterprise seemed to care

It have rented here many times. Most recently I got a car to take on a long trip. I drove it 2 miles and realized quickly that it was not going to work on a long trip because the headrest was pushing my head forward and could not be adjusted> I called to see if I could exchange it for a different car and they said absolutely! I went back made the exchange and was out of there in 10 minutes. They also have a night drop box so if you want to drop your car off or Sunday night you can. They call you the next day to tell you they received the car and they check to make sure everything was okay with the car. I highly recommend Enterprise especially this location. I have never had an issue with any car I rented.

I had a mechanical problem with my Alamo car and they had all their cars booked, but they did their best to get me into another car and transfer the agreement over. All ended after closing time on a Saturday. Thank you Slater & the manager. Telephone support with these companies is useless. Its up to real people behind the counter to make it work.

Helpful & friendly. The local office can be chaotic at times. Overall this is an efficient Co. Some pricing glitches, but readily worked out. Additional fees should be disclosed in the beginning. One person appeared to be on the verge of being stranded but I found out later that it was worked out. I called later with an information safety net program idea. Such as an information system (211) and local police, for someone who is standed. I can imagine this in the car rental & towing business. Rented 2 times, one for long distance & the other due to a car accident. I plan on buying one of the Enterprise cars. Satisfied customer and will comeback.

I decided to wait several rentals to write a review, always waiting for the proverbial Shoe to Drop as with other rental places. The Old Saybrook location has the best customer service, quick and efficient rental experience with no hidden fees, and the reps were excellent in problem solving a few issues here and there with some of my previous rentals. I prefer to rent on-line, but have had to call with questions now-and-again, no problem answering my questions, very prompt response time. Drop-off experience was just as pleasant in and out...overall extremely pleased with my experience for the past four years.

Had a car fire not far from this location, and the staff was extremely accommodating. KJ, the manager, was beyond helpful. I lost my wallet to the car fire and she waited while I had a copy of my license emailed over so i could rent a car. Thank you so much.

The car was ready before noon on Friday and we were quickly on the way. All of their cars were rented that day and walkins were being turned away (a rather frazzled woman who kept quoting a Google rate and expected to get a car right then and there without a reservation). People, you need to make a reservation...dont expect Enterprise to solve your lack of planning issues! Anyway, the rate was good, the car was clean and comfortable. Upon return, we were quickly processed and on our way. We always use Enterprise when traveling by boat and find we need a car for long distance destinations.

Enterprise is my go to rental company. I liked the desk service I got - explaining everything and really paying attention to my needs and checking out the car. My car, unfortunately, had a service now indicator that continually flashed through my rental :( Like all enterprizes, I wish it was open on Sunday - however - i dont mind people having a day off.

I needed to rent a car because mine needed repair. The person who picked me up was very friendly and waited for me to complete a medical appointment. I kept needing to extend my use of the car and the staff were great.

Great customer service & rental vehicle!

Great on arrival. They picked us up at the Saybrook Train Station. Sign up was fast. The car was clean and worked great.I had to return the vehicle before they were open on Sunday. They didnt have any plan to have me use the valet key and lock it in the car at the train station so I had to walk the half mile from Enterprise to the train station with my luggage.They need a better plan here. The Old Saybrook Train station is a safe place

Even though I requested an economy car I gladly took a free upgrade. I should have taken advantage of their gas option: I filled the tank locally and it cost me about an extra $.30/galVery friendly staff, a free ride home and the weekend special was outstanding: about $36 from Fri to Sun!!I sure am glad they are in Old Saybrook

The people at the Old Saybrook office are outstanding in all ways. They are routinely helpful, courteous, well informed and happy to adopt to last minute changes. Cant say I have this same assessment when dealing with people at the national reservation call center. In fact, when renting locally I insure I am dealing directly with the people at the Old Saybrook office for making reservations, discussing rental details, etc.

Not a good experience renting from this location. Had to rent a car for my inlaws to drive to ny. After being quoted a very good price for the car, my father in law called me to tell me the rate wasnt what i was quoted. Called the next day (sat) and they told me they purchased the insurance (which i know is a scam since their own insurance covered the car) and said it was for 49.00 for the rental. While I wasnt happy about it, it was signed for and i accepted it. Upon finding out on monday is was for 49.00 per day (ripoff) it was for over 100.00 more. Called to have this explained to me again. Manager said he couldnt do anything, that they accepted this even though they didnt need it, and wouldnt give me either the email or phone number of the district manager (said he would email it to me but never did). Emailed enterprise corporate over 1 week ago and never heard back. Feel they took advantage of senior citizensAll i can say is beware of the hidden charges that they will try to add and dont expect anysort of help from them afterwards.

Im extremely disappointed with Enterprise because I have heard nothing but good things, but this has been a miserable experience. In short, we kept getting different answers from the staff about payment options and what we would need to be able to rent. Because they have been so difficult to work with we have had to cancel the trip we planned on taking as both of our cars are too old/have too many miles to make a trip that long.

The staff is excellent, and always Positive. Management is intuitive and responsive to the needs of the customers. Overall and outstanding organisation!!

Ok so let me say I use enterprise car rental ever time we have a need my family included. I was in need of a cargo van the week of feb 18 th one week rental was quoted at 250 per week when we summed up the rental the mgmt attempted over 900 bait and switch insurance that did not cover a parking lot fender bender and a full tank of gas that thay didn’t reimburse Tyler the manager Devon the “specialist “ let me reassure you the corporate if and it’s a big if I don’t hear back I’m taking this to the att general for a fraudulent exposure I’m compleatly wowed by your operation shame is a minimal response I expect

I love the Old Saybrook office for Enterprise. We have been renting from them for 4 years and they have always been awesome. They are very pleasant and easy to work with. We almost went with another company this last time, because we thought we found a better price, well this other company was not friendly in any way. When we contacted the Old Saybrook office they helped us so much, and they even got us a better price then the other company. THANK YOU OLD SAYBROOK OFFICE---we will see you in May

I rented a large suv from Old Saybrook Enterprise last week and found out while I was on vacation that it would have been $500.00 cheaper to rent it from the New London Enterprise. I discussed it with the representative when I returned and they would not do anything to adjust the price. I have rented a lot of cars from the Saybrook Enterprise and will not return there I will go to New London and save.
