Bob came to my house to test our water and talk about the options for treatment. We knew we needed something but we werent completely sure what. Bob was low pressure and presented us with options and recommendations. He gave us time to think about our decision and followed up with us. Overall a great experience compared to the other company we tried.

I recently had an in home consultation with Bob from Culligan. I always dread these types of things because of aggressive hard sell techniques Ive experienced in the past. I am very happy to say that the time Bob spent in my home left me feeling better educated and I didnt feel pressured to purchase. He responded promptly to questions I had after our consultation and didnt once tell me what I needed to do but rather allowed me space to make a decision.

We had our annual service today performed by Pat. He found an issue related to a filter which had begun to fail. Resolved the issue quickly by replacing all five filters and replenishing our salt supply.Work was performed professionally, quickly and he left his work area spotless.Great job!

Bob was great! I scheduled an appointment online and he called me and we managed to get my water tested and an agreement formed the same day. His manner was exceptional and he was clear in his explanations, including what couldnt be done. I appreciated his honesty, clarity, and his determination in making sure it was thorough. Truly a pleasant experience end to end. Hes also ensured that in the future I have the support Ill need in case there are issues. Ive used previous companies in the past, and even the other companys sales pitch was cumbersome and intrusive. Bob didnt need to give me a sales pitch, include a bunch of gimmicks, etc., I highly recommend Culligan of Greater KC for your water softener needs! Thanks Bob!

The technician who came today to repair our water softener was courteous, quick and efficient. The best part of all was that he didnt charge us a service call. He was here for less than five minutes. This was good service recovery!

Our experience with Culligan team member Bob Platt was excellent. His combination of knowledge, personability, and integrity served us well. He knew his stuff and could explain it so we understood it. He was honest about water testing results and the pros and cons of product options. He never seemed hurried, but he didn’t waste our time either. It also helped that he and his family are actual users of the products he represents. I had done my homework on water softeners and water filtration systems prior to calling Culligan in the first place. True to on-line information, we were impressed by Culligan’s combination of quality, cost, and service standards. You certainly can find cheaper products out there; but taking everything that matters into consideration, we’re convinced we’ve landed on the clear winner when it comes to value.

He is the technician that installed our last two conditioners. As usual, he was prompt, courteous and solved my issue in a very timely manner. The service is mediocre at best. During Covid thy indicated we needed to leave bottles outside our door. This was fine but then they indicated that outside door was not good enough it had to be outside of the building. We worked through that issue but then delivery was spotty at best. After we cancelled they attempted delivery twice.

We had been having issues with water pressure with our system and only able to get a cup of water out of the faucet at a time. Technician came out, found our problem, fixed it and changed out our filters. He was very thorough. Love being able to fill up a whole pitcher at a time with clear, fresh water.

Bob Platt responded promptly to our inquiry about needing to treat our parents’ whole house for cryptosporidium. We had just found out our dad was being evaluated for a heart transplant, and water quality is a concern due to the immunosuppressive drugs required to prevent rejection of the new heart. Bob explained the process and answered all of our questions. He was compassionate and flexible. Joe was our installer and went above and beyond to make sure everything was correct. Water quality is important! If you have questions about your water quality, this is an amazing group to work with!

Called for a water quality test and Bob Platt came out and we spent time discussing water quality in our area and with Bobs easy to understand explanation of what the results meant it was simple for us to decide what to do with out the pressure of the sale. We chose to add a 5 Stage R/O drinking water system to our kitchen sink and refrigerator. Its been over a month since the installation and I absolutely love the system and the fact that were drinking very high quality clean water straight from my faucet with out having to lug cases of not so well filtered bottled water home from the grocery store anymore. I had been contemplating a water softener for several years. I had dealt with Culligan when I was in the restaurant business. So I knew they were a quality company. I met with Bob Platt and discussed the particular problems my house has. He took time to take pictures and made drawings to ensure the installation would be right. On the day of the installation James Shaw brought in the new equipment, he needed to build a shelf for the resin tank,as my utility closet is very small. The installation went off without a hitch and I am extremely pleased with the quality of Culligans entire crew. They left me with a clean closet and 3 bags of salt. Thanks Bob and James.

Our Culligan experience has been really good. The salt is more expensive than brands at big-box stores, but it’s consistency, smell, and form seems to be a lot better. Delivery and service of salt and filters is really easy and fast. So far, we’ve been very happy with it.

Retracting my 5 star review...we had a water softener and reverse osmosis system put in and have loved the taste and feel of our water so far. However, less than a week after getting it installed we got an email threatening to come remove the system because of paperwork we supposedly didn’t fill out (we did so in person, even took off work that day to be home to do it). It was incredibly insulting to be treated like we were trying to scam them or get out of payment when really it was their organization skills to blame. We have never been treated so poorly by a company, this entire process was more of a pain then buying a house or car. I was ready to recommend them to all my friends in this area who have complained about the hard water in our area, not anymore!

I am giving 3 stars because the customer service was polite and helpful, BUT I am only giving 3 stars, because the water cooler I rented never flowed properly, the auto text reminders stopped after only a couple of months, I requested a calendar of pick up dates after the reminders stopped (they were never emailed, had to call several time). My bill had to be explained to me multiple times and the bill was incorrect, twice. I did enjoy the taste of the water compared to our tap and like I said above, the customer service was always polite.

90% of the time we have no problems. My issue is with when there was a problem I didnt feel like they took responsibility for our problem or provide any real customer service. On a Monday we ran completely out of water so I called and asked when our next deliver was scheduled. I was informed the manager revamped their deliveries and our delivery date had been pushed back 8 days and that we would receive our water NEXT Monday. I was surprised we werent at least notified there would be a significant delay. She checked the schedule and said someone would be in the area Friday so she could bump us one a day. I said ok and ended the call. I later called back and asked if we could just come there and get one bottle to get us through and she said yes that was an option. It seems the prior call might have included an apology and an explanation of this option. I sent a coworker to pick up the bottle. The pickup took over 20 minutes and they charged us for the bottle. While none of this is a reason to cancel this service it does seem to me that customer service is not a priority for them.

The house we purchased at icky water from sitting for so long. I also, am aware of how hard the water is in Kansas City so I thought I would give Culligan a try. Bob Platt came out and spoke with me before we closed on our home and then assessed the home after we could gain access. The system was installed in short order and we love, love, love the water. No spots all over the dishes, we use less shampoo, laundry soap and dish soap. While the water is great the care in which they installed it and how timely and courteous they were is what is so amazing. Not sure how anyone can give less than five stars as they are amazing!!! Bob was fun to work with and very knowledgeable and he went above and beyond to make sure we had just the right system.

Poor customer service. We havent had a delivery in 2 months so we called several times to figure out the problem and we were told different things each time. We were then told we would get a delivery and the driver never showed, this happened 3 times so we finally just canceled the account. Well try a company who truly values our business.

This is some of the shadiest stuff Ive seen for quite some time. We own our equipment and this morning I received a text stating that there is a service call scheduled for tomorrow. No one actually scheduled anything, and if we dont cancel within 24 hours theres a $50 cancellation fee. Good luck with that. No one ever set an appointment, just a random text. We are not contractually obligated to anything owning our own equipment.Ill be sending an invoice for $150 for wasting my time.

The water and unit itself is great, and the technicians are professional, however dealing with the company is a major headache. Every step from the initial install to scheduling maintenance has been nothing but complicated. If you are a business with Open Hours allowing the tech to show up when they please, it may not be an issue for you; I was told scheduling service appointments was not an option which is what I need.So I scheduled my service appointment two weeks in advance so I could modify my schedule to accommodate, and was told I’d be “first job in the morning, either 8:30-9:30, and someone will call you around 7:30 to confirm the time.” The morning of its 8:30 and no one has called me, then I get a text saying my appointment has been moved to Monday, so I call to see what’s going on. After waiting on hold they say the tech will call me, he calls to inform me he can’t be there until afternoon, which doesn’t work for me at this point because I planned on the morning window. Then later I was told it IS an option if you pay an extra fee (?) but by the time they told me this it was too late because he’s already on another site and I’m going to have to reschedule and wait again and pay a fee (Why was this option never mentioned before?).I’ll be looking into other services immediately because this has cost me too much money and energy to continue to deal with it.

We have had good service, however the product has failed us. Once due to improper installation of a component which caused us to go months with no softening. Another time a valve malfunction caused the softener to not soften. We have extremely hard water so have some damage to our new fixtures due to these malfunctions. We have had the system five years, but it has worked properly for only three.

I wish there was a zero star option. I was with Culligan for 12 years. It was great service, friendly staff, never would have left. Now we will NEVER return. Our $36 rental payments were set up to auto-pay each month as it was a set amount. First we were charged a paper billing fee $2 without notice then a late fee when they double billed us. It was only $7 total but after 12 years of loyal business I expected some basic courtesy in correcting the billing error and was more than happy to go paperless with billing once given the option. The Director of Customer relations, Kindra Taylor, was repeatedly rude to me on the phone and via email for months (Happy to share those emails). I asked 3 times starting in June to have our rental system removed and was ignored. We stopped using it in July and FINALLY got it removed after Ms. Taylor sent more rude emails. The service guy was very nice and apologetic, however, we will never use or buy another Culligan product.

First of all addressing me as Arnold in this email is rude. My last name is Arnold and after spending $5,000 with your company you should know that. I called to speak to someone because in over 6 months the salt level had not moved in my unit and I felt that that meant something was wrong the unit is barely a year old so I called and asked if maybe someone should come and take a look at it. They set up an appointment and a man came out he was very pleasant but all he did was go downstairs I went with him, and he shook the unit around played around with a few buttons and told me everything looked fine there was nothing wrong at all and said thatll be $159. Well that stop me right there because nobody even told me that there was going to be a charge for him to come take a look at it. I felt after spending $5,000 for the item you would think a visit to look at it wouldnt cost me anything. But I had no choice but to pay it so no I am not very happy with Culligan right now as a company or with the product because I still feel there must be something wrong if its not using the salt

We just started with Culligan water a couple weeks ago! The delivery man was great and we are very happy that we are not using water bottles from the store. We are not wasting water like we were with water bottles and we bought larger Yeti type (TAL)holders that keep the water fresh and always cold! We are going to have to order another 5 gallon bottle tho, it comes with two but we both have heart issues and the dr really wants us to drink a lot of water so we will be calling for more today! They also have a black or white holder so you can match your appliances too.

Came out for the scheduled appointment on time. I was looking for inexpensive remedy for rusty water. Salesman focused on full blown high dollar system. Salesman was unable to quote cost without rescheduling with a manager. Company did not show up for the follow up appointment, (or, I missed them). No follow up to reschedule. In the mean time, the rust issue seems to have resolved itself.
