I love Lowe’s garden department! They take better care of their plants than the other large volume stores do. My experience has been that most of the garden staff is very knowledgeable about the products. I will continue to buy my plants from Lowe’s.
I have shopped at Lowe’s several times this summer as I have worked on some projects. The staff has been extremely helpful in finding exactly what I needed.On one trip, a sales rep helped me track down the exact replacement screws I needed for my storm door. I quite often ask where things on my miscellaneous list might be found. The reps are great at sending me to the right locations which saves a lot of wandering around.This week I had to replace my old mower. Jon O in that department was very knowledgeable about the different models. He answered all my questions and gave me some good tips. The entire purchase process went very smoothly. I really appreciated the excellent service!
Went to this store a few weeks ago to get some commercial grade hanging lights to dress out the inside of a screened in porch... Sheldon McLaughlin was extremely helpful and courteous, and even helped me with some ideas that saved us money! Would highly recommend!!
The place has about everything under the sun you’d need.. But I literally had to ask someone that didn’t even work there for help, and they were more friendly and useful than the staff.
I was in this Lowe’s tonight. Purchasing about $200.00 worth of tools. I understand this purchase is not a large purchase. No cashiers were open. It’s 6:21 pm 8/26/21. Just in case the store manager wants to check the camera. I asked the only person where the check out was he said he didn’t have an cashiers. The guy next to me said so we just walk out with the items and the Lowe’s guy got up in this customers face and said FU I will call the cops. If this is the best you got Lowe’s. You might want to save face and shut the store down.
It is a good store with a wide variety of products.A little hard to find help because everyone was busy but they were helpful when I did find someone.Now for the aggravation part. I had some Products that required someone looking them up to find a price. Of course there were no registers open with real people to help you. Unfortunately Lowes is like so many stores that want the customer to do the work of checking our own selves out because they are to cheap to pay a cashier. The result was I had to go to lumber area and stand in a long line when I only had less than ten items. Grrr
Zero stars. I ordered a washer and dryer online for delivery. They were split into two different orders by Lowes, and the parts were delivered incorrectly, deliveries were split for 6 hours apart, one delivery person broke my existing dryer vent and just left, and they all refused to provide me with receipts for either delivery. There are parts that need to be returned but without a receipt they are refusing to assist. I have spent over an hour on the phone trying to get help and no one will pick up. Have been hung up on three times.
Usually have a good experience, but guest service wouldnt help me find a solution for a return that I had a receipt for. It was past 90 days but she would not let me even let me do the return for store credit. I was surprised other stores have been more relaxed with 90 days policies.
Found exactly what I needed, with the help of a very friendly (and knowledgeable) staff member.

I stood and waited for someone to help me with a return for 15 minutes. Both associates pretended they didn’t see me. I walked away in an attempt to find someone else who could help, couldn’t find anyone so I came back 2 minutes later and found the same two associates assisting someone else. Eventually one of them did help me. I understand this place often hires a lot of elderly people and they can be a little slow moving but please teach them to be attentive to ALL customers especially if you see one standing in line at your register awaiting YOUR help.
Terrible customer service. Next to impossible to find anyone to help you. The only one I could find seemed less than pleased to be bothered.
Online ordering for I store pickup is ridiculously challenging for service. They need an integrated sales database that is seamless between online ordering and store purchasing. So much time is wasted. If you really want to through a cashier off, use an online gift card.
My delivery for decking supplies has been rescheduled/ moved 3x already despite promises from staff it would be here. Now My contractor won’t even come back until I have everything here. We have had people here twice ready to work only to be told Lowe’s won’t be delivering today.I’m Currently on hold for 15 minutes waiting toSee if my thousands of dollars of supplies are arriving today as previously promised.***Update ***Delivery department never answered. After speaking to a store associate this morning I was told my order is on the truck and out for delivery.Lowe’s just called a few hours later and advised they are not coming again but promise yet again tomorrowThis is now my 4th rescheduled date for a 7k ORDER!!!!!!!!
Their customer service is terrible!!! I bought an item from Independence location and wanted to return it to this store with the receipt only few days ago and they wouldn’t take it back. They told me I have to go back all the way to independence to return it since it was a special order. They wasted my time and they were super rude about it. On top of of that they had a super long lines with one cashier. The other associates just walked by and ignored all the waiting people in line!!!! I will never want to go back to their store!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Always helpful knowledgeable staff, willing and disposed to help when needed.Deserving of 5 stars, I gave them 4, due to the need to catch up with the current times and make the implementation of a touch less payment in their POS system so that we can use Android, Apple, Samsung, etc., as a convenient way for customers to pay for their purchases.Kuddos to each of the team members, always smiling when helping.

This is our go to home improvement store. The staff while sometimes sparse are helpful.
Friendly, well lit, and clean store that almost always has what I need. Their mobile app information is accurate and up to date on current stock and locations of products which can really speed up a visit! (So I make excuses to browse the aisles a bit longer.)
No one is never available to help you and if you do get an associate to help they have no idea how to help you and then they try to pawn you off on some else who has no idea how to help you or where what you are looking for is.
Me and my wife were looking for a new garage door. The young gentleman that works in that department was very helpful and friendly. We also learned that there are a million types of doors and a million type of ways they are built so you need to have a lot of information when you go to the store.
Installed services is horrible. We ordered 2 storms doors along with installation. One of the doors was damaged and they did not send all the materials with the installer. We are now 9 days from the original install date. I called today and they can’t tell me if the damaged parts were ordered. I’ve done several installed services with Lowe’s but this is the worst, by far.
Lowes associate was great!!!!! If you need an installer, you are in severe trouble!!!!!!!! They called and put me on hold for 40 minutes... never did pick up. I am still waiting for their call, cause they put you on hold when you call.

I went to get 2 pallets of mulch. There was no room to park my trailer so I got in line like last year and when it was my turn, I told them I needed 2 pallets of mulch and if I could pull up where nobody was loading and pay for it. The young lady was very rude and at first stated no. I had to reason with her for her to understand the situation. I got it paid for and they started loafing with a forklift. The driver stated the forklift transmission was going out as he hit the side of my trailer. It bent up the fender where the clearance light is. I had them set the other pallet on the back and he tried to push it on up with the help of 2 landscape logs but the transmission was causing more problems than I cared to have to repair. If your equipment is broke fix it before you destroy someone elses property. Damnit thats just wrong!!!!!
Went in to get a bid on $1200 door and they tried to press me on a custom built door for $3800...just for the door for $3800, not including anything else...dont trust them.

SERVICE WAS TRULY IMPRESSIVE!Yvonne, at the front desk, was so patient with me. I had put in several orders to pick-up at several places and I kept giving her the incorrect order #. Not once did she make me feel any kind of way. What she didnt know about me is that I have social anxiety disorder, I also deal with anxiety while driving, my Uncles funeral was later that day, and, and, and. It was because Yvonne stayed calm, cool and collected that I was able to not go into a full blown panic attack once I got in the car!KUDOS to Yvonne - her kindness and great customer service were noticed!
Love Lowe’s! This store is very clean always organized and staff is nice, willing to help and not pushy. I always bring my Bernese Mountain Dog in and she loves it there as well! Sometimes they even have treats for her. Without a doubt better than the nearest Home depot for sure!

First off I have been to this Lowe’s on several occasion and the customer service is always terrible - today when I was there the paint department lady saw me standing there no one else around and proceeded to go to the back for ten minutes and then to return while I waited - I brushed that off - but what set me over the edge was when I was in the self check out area - i was having an issue with the scanner and the barcode on the top of my paint cans - I flagged down the person at the head cashier stand - he/she (name lichen) looked at me we made eye contact and then decided to purposely ignore me - I went up to this person letting them know I didn’t appreciate being deliberately ignored me -Audrey Miller - the store manager can’t return phone calls -I am looking at the most recent reviews about the staff- lazy and rude employees seems to be a reoccurring complaint

I find Lowes quality far better than Homedepot. Their sale price is good as well.

I like Lowes. It is a great see place to get small home projects. However, they lose two stars because I saw employees not properly wearing masks. The masks were below their nose. Wish I could have felt safe shopping there.
I ordered and purchased with their measurements a new front door and door leading out to my garage. The garage door was to small and had to reorder and wait for the correct door and installation. Then I ordered blinds from Jason in window treatments. The blinds didnt fit. The Olathe Lowes did not credit me the full amount. I have lost all confidence in the Olathe Lowes store!!!!

Attitude towards foreigners, mistake in their measurements, impolite handling of their own screw up even after calling their so called customer service.I cancelled my transaction with them and shopped at Nebraska Furniture Mart instead. I am so incredibly happy with this location. Yesterday our refrigerator quit working so we had to go in to buy a new one. They were able to schedule an emergency delivery for this morning. The whole staff, from the associate we purchased the fridge from to the one at the Customer Service desk to the delivery guys and all the logistics in between were incredibly helpful and understanding. We had them deliver to our garage so we didnt have to have additional people in our home during these odd times. The delivery guys were so friendly and professional. Thank you all so much for everything!
Out of product that I went for among other things. .Windex outdoor 4 windows.....attaches to hose. Otherwise, 5 star. Had mask supply to put on and rubber gloves if needed.

Got some of my list purchased. I was mainly looking for Christmas light but Lowes was completely sold out. Nothing left.
Made an online order for store pick up. I waited 3 weeks with no update. I call the store today and they tell me the items are being shipped to the store. Im not sure why the item would be available for in store pick up if it wasnt even at the store. The only option the guy gave me when I called was to cancel the order. He didnt spend any time looking into the order nor try putting a rush on it. Thats not the greatest service in my eyes.

I purchased a refrigerator and the salesman seemed to be put out in regards to helping me. He is the guy with gray hair in a pony tail. He put down to install and I told him it was going in the garage. He said cranky fine Ill put it as deliver in the garage if it makes you feel better. I told customer service and they said they would tell his supervisor, no one has contacted me yet 2 days later.Delivery is supposed to be today and no time frame given and Im still waiting!Dont try to call the store you have to go thru hoops and no one answers the phone. Im very disappointed in Lowes salesman all the way to customer service. No One Cares

Placed an online order, was notified it was ready and went to curbside pickup to get it. Found out it wasnt ready and wouldnt be ready for two more days. Then I got an email the order had been canceled. Called to ask why and was told someone had called in advising the order was no longer needed. Ended up talking to a manager, Maxine, who refused to re-enter the order unless I came into the store. Kinda defeats the purpose of online ordering and curbside pickup.
If youre working on a home project and want to complete it on the same day, do not order online for pickup.I placed an order at 9am and waited 24 hours with no pickup information. I called at 11a of the next day and cancelled my order.As I was pulling into the store, they called me to tell me that my order was ready... I walked to customer service and made sure it was cancelled.As I was walking the aisles I had an associate help me locate an item, she was helpful.Ive recently ordered online from other big box home improvement stores and they have the order ready within hours. I was expecting the same from Lowes, but the service is slow.
Excellent Customer Service. I purchased a washer and dryer and the washer was on back order. Whirlpool was late delivering machines to Lowes. I had moved and was without a washer and dryer with two teenagers in the house.I called the Lowes in Olathe and a young man name Jack went above and beyond the call of duty. He looked, but couldnt find a comparable washer/dryer so he offered to send me a loaner until mine arrived. He even set it up for next day delivery.This kind of service is what builds customer loyalty for a long time. Thanks Jack!
We had an exchange to make and the lady at the return area was very helpful and made the transaction easy. I will say that we normally use a different lowes but we were in the area and stop in because it was on our way and wow what a clean store. I dont think Ive ever said that about a hardware store before. Keep up the good work it is noticed and appreciated.

This morning I went to pick up my washer. The lady was friendly at the desk. But when she brought the washer out and said there you go. I looked at her and asked can I not have some help as I’m here by myself? She looked at me and walked away. This is the first and last time I will ever purchase anything from Lowe’s. I had to have a good samaritan help load my 200 pound washer into my truck.
