Do NOT take your car here. They quoted me twice the price as pther places amd told me i needed rear brakes and drums immediatelyAfter having it checked elsewhere i discovered my rear brakes were fine. They lied amd tried yo take advantage of a broke single woman. Thieves

I went to this location to have my vehicle looked at, I initially went in for a diagnostics to see what was wrong with my car and come to find out I had broken sway bar links and tie rods along with a bubble on my tire I was unaware of. They were very professional and took care of the situation right then, I thought I would have to go back for repairs but they fixed it that same day. I would recommend this location to anybody needing repairs. I was very pleased! Thank you for taking care of my car!

On the phone there was one price but when I came in paid more. On another vehicle they changed breaks not year passed breaks are not good. Need to change again. I do not recommend and i will not use service myself. Service not cheap.

This location is very well known for trying to scam people. the last time i was in here, i came in for an A/C recharge. they tried to talk us into this BS about a dye that would show leaks in our A/C condenser under a special light, (full BS) then also told us the starter was going bad on a relatively new car. do not waste your time with these sorry excuse for grease monkeys (or any other Meineke location). take your vehicle to a independent owned mechanic shop. under the kind of service just put literally everything. dont waste your time with them.

My van broke down on the way home from work, I called meineke ca care center and Pete answered the phone. I got my van there the next day and Pete remembered my name. They gave me an estimate that I couldnt afford so they worked with me on the cost so that I would a vehicle to get to work in. They repaired the next day and I drove it back home and it ran great! What I remember about my experience was the excellent customer service I recieved. Pete has a pleasant attitude and i felt good leaving my car with him to repair

Three stars for misleading me about the price. We spend 1000 bucks on a brake repair and then went ahead with another front end repair which we were told would be $420... got them to cut me a brake on the alignment which was nice I guess so I was expecting $380... somehow I ended up paying $450 at the end of it because of their “lift fees” and taxes. How about when you quote someone the price of a job you put all that in the quote so there are no surprises. I don’t respect that kind of misleading bs I wouldn’t have done the job if i thought I knew it was going to cost me that much. I’m sure the lift they’re charging me to use has well been paid for at this point must be nice to collect those fees. Surprised they didn’t charge me a fee for standing in the heated lobby while I was shelling out. Be honest and completely transparent up front and you won’t receive poor reviews. Won’t be coming back.

The professionals at Meinke are my ‘go-to’ for vehicle maintenance such as installing new headlight bulbs. I’m always treated with respect and find the professionals helpful. My last visit, I even had a user error where I thought my dome light was burned out however the technician kindly explained that was not the case and did not charge me for my own error.

Had an annoying rattle from my exhaust that required a new gasket and new bolts. They were rusted and seized up so I knew it was going to be difficult. They got it done quickly and the exhaust sounds great and the rattle is gone.

Brought my car in today for brake inspection. Although I hated having to spend so much on my car right now, it had to be done! Pete, I think hes the manager was friendly, professional and got the job done as quickly as possible. I will definitely go back there again!

After getting my front end worked on and aligned here, I’m driving back across the state and to keep it straight my steering wheel has to be 45 degrees to the right and there is a CONSTANT pull to the left. If I let it go it immediately darts to the left. Pretty sure it drove straighter before I took it here. Nothing like feeling like your money was wasted.

Pete and his technician, Miguel were great! They fixed my breaks and showed me my old breaks and explained how they work. I had an electrical issue with my lights and they solved that issue without having to send me to the dealership which saved me money! They are a super personal team and I appreciate the quality work.

I stopped in to have my exhaust reattached on my Raptor. The guys were friendly and honest about what needed to be done. They let me know that the muffler was still in good shape and just needed to be reattached. I was in and out in about an hour. Masks were on throughout the shop. I highly recommend stopping in. I know I’ll be back.

Nice people but way overpriced. Charged me $90 for a belt I could have gotten next door at advance auto parts for $12. And $120 for a $25 pulley. I really dont see the need to mark up that much over cost. Just be honest and charge people a decent price in this time money is to hard to come by to be charging outrageous prices.

I made an appointment online which displayed a $17.99 coupon for a basic oil change. First problem, they got the appointment time wrong (their system showed an hour earlier), so I would have to wait another hour before my car could be seen (even though I had an email showing I was there at the scheduled time), AND they do not honor the “nationwide” (the dude actually used air quotes here) online coupons, so it would be $34.95. There are other Meineke locations close enough to me that do accept the online coupons, so I’ll take my business there instead!

This is one of my worst experience with an auto repair. They only care about the money and can look convincing, professional & nice. My car was vibrating when it accelerates and I needed to get that fixed. They literally robbed me off over 1500 dollar where my issue wasnt even fixed. I ended up getting it fixed for 350 dollars replacing the right side CV shaft which they actually charged me twice that price for the other side. They also worked on the motor mount replacing only two sides of it which in a week was again messed up. The amount they charged me for the two mounts was how much the other place was going to charge me for all 4 mounts. The motor mount wasnt even the main issue with my car. I tried to get a free service for my coolant reservoir replacement a service less than 50 dollars to make up for it, but they refused even that. It has been a very disappointing experience where I lost over a 1000 dollar with no refund and I recommend who ever is reading this to avoid this place.

Was hoping for a simple brake job but once they got into it there were a few more problems. We are selling vehicle and just want to ensure safe. They worked with on the hours required which save us a bunch of money. They showed us everything that was bad and were open with the issues. Explained what was required and what could be deferred to a later date. Though I wish we could have avoided fixing as much as we did we are happy to have fully functioning brakes.

Took my adult sons car in for an oil change as he is an essential worker. They put the wrong oil in. I asked for the basic oil required for his vehicle and was charged for synthetic (not necessary for his car) then was told he needed a belt replaced. Told it would cost 72 dollars. Ok. They then charged more than double saying, Oh you did not know that labor was not in that price quote? I dont know if they are dishonest or just a horrible unprofessional place. I will never be back.

All the guys at this Meineke shop take very good care of me and my family. They are always respectable and show us the parts that they replace. They go above and beyond to take care of us in all of my vehicles. I would not go any other place. Theyre very honest about what I need to fix and how much it cost.

I thought this review was for jiffy lube. When i went to meineke the guy told me i HAD to keep my car at the shop or itll blow up, then proceeded to stare at me with a mean look and didnt say anything so i walked out. Idk if it was because im female that you feel like you could get over ov me. Thanks to the real mechanic who gave me awesome advice. I will never go back to this place and btw...my car still hasnt blown up. Thats why i dont believe in car places in the first place.

I scheduled oil change with the Olathe location because Meineke website states that all oil changes include a tire rotation. When I arrived they said they do not include tire rotation in oil change and it would cost $24.95 more. Excuse was they are independently owned, not company store. From my perspective it was bait and switch tactics which I thought was illegal in kansas. Needless to say they did not get my oil change business.

The manager was very friendly and helpful. He explained everything and went over the costs. Discussed other problems with my car that need attention. Very satisfied with the work (they installed a new muffler). Im going back to have new shocks next week.

I have taken my Corvette here on more than one occasion to have custom exhaust installed and have belts changed. They beat everyones price in town and I was very pleased with the work and the customer service. They treated us like family! I will be back again and again!! Thank you!!

Really helpful folks! I was able to get my vehicle over to these folks and immediately was impressed by their knowledge and experience. They all agreed that my water pump was completely shot, just as I had suspected. Being Saturday, I really didnt expect much to get accomplished, but they were able to get it almost completely fixed by days end, and by Monday, it was running smoothly. The employees were extremely helpful, and were willing to work around my work schedule to make sure that I was able to pick it up when I had the chance. I hope I dont need their service again anytime soon (obviously) but if so, Ill definitely be back.

Very unhappy. I brought my vehicle in for a routine oil change. At some point, the technician broke the exterior antenna on my vehicle. He did notify me immediately and told me he would fix it, which he did. However, when it came time to pay for the oil change, I was informed I was being charged for the replacement antenna. I shouldnt have had to pay for this. I should be reimbursed.

Short version: They charge for estimates because they overcharge so much, people go elsewhere.Long version: I took my $2000 work car in for an estimate, they inform me its $30 because they have so many people not complete repairs. I understand and say OK because as long as it not the catalytic converter, exhaust isnt/SHOULDNT be super expensive, right? NOPE, not here. I was informed BOTH my flex pipes were leaking and my muffler was split. COST: $750. WHAT?! I politely pay the $30 inspection fee ( go to MIDAS or Baileys Brake and Exhaust for inspections ) and get a 2nd opinion. I took my vehicle to Baileys, they were $450 if I do everything Meineke quoted however one of my flex pipes was NOT leaking yet but was near the end of life (175k miles) so I have them do NECESSARY repairs for $310 with tax. I would not give this Meineke location the time-of-day again.

I will start off by saying I havent been to too many auto shops as I am pretty young but I felt like the way this place did their business was not ethical or even professional. I had a coupon sheet come in the mail that said break pads and rotors for $99 and oil change was $10 off synthetic oil change. I knew I would probably have to have the rotors replaced as they were making a lot of scratching noise but they wanted to charge $340 for the whole procedure. Based on the coupon I thought Id be paying about $150 for just the front brake job and oil change. Why is it that at the advanced auto parts store right next to it rotors only cost less than 40 bucks a piece and yet this place wanted to charge $80 per rotor! I feel like that is a rip off. I told the guy I could not afford their price for the breaks and rotors but would still get the oil change as it only cost me $30 which is pretty standard price. The guy didnt even try and cut me a better deal or try and convince me that it was the best deal I could get as most salesman would have done. I badly needed the break job though still so I looked online and found Burnetts auto and they were luckily able to give me a better deal. Meineke said I needed both rotors but Burnetts found that only the more damaged one HAD to be changed. I ended up spending $100 less which helped me stay within my budget and the guys were honest and nice enough to cut me a deal instead of just turning away a customer without hesitation like Meineke did. Meinekes last words was be careful with them breaks. Thanks for nothing but Im glad I searched for another place and got the job done.

Came in for a brake job and oil change. Was able to get a dame day appt. He called me and said I needed new rotors, calipers and brake pads on both axles. It was well over $1000 with coupons!!! I picked it up and took it to a friend to look at. Under $500... parts and labor.I am a female and felt like he was overpricing because I wouldnt know better. My friend proved me right. Took me 3 days to get in with my friend. But it was worth the wait. Firestone... just saying.

DONT GO! Worst shop ever! The new owner is worst then the older one. Took my vehicle to get the AC checked out. Vehicle was good and running. 2 hours later in their hands, the engine stopped. I ended up having it towed away. They trashed the paper work that I signed! Manager said he talked to owner and that they were not going to fix it cause they were not responsible. How were they not, if the engine stopped running in their hands. Customer service (corporate) did nothing. Called 3 times. All they say is, its between you and owner So all that call us for your concerns is pretty much worthless. Going to Better Business Bureau now. Look at how many stars they have?? Its not just me who has bad experiences here.

Think $447 just for brake pads and labor is a bit steep. Their labor rate seems high. Friendly owner though

This Meineke is atrocious I called to inquire about what other services they provide other than replacing windhsield wipers such as do you offer windshiled wiper repair or adjustments.The person on the phone took this as I was literally wanting to have my windshiled wipers repaired, I said no Im not calling to have my windshield wipers repaired as they are 20 dollars ...the person on the phone then rudley said well some can be as much as 40 dollars each and Im not sure what your seeing on the internet but Ive never heard of windshield wiper repair I then said ..AGAIN Im not calling for that Im asking if you offer services other than just wiper replacement and asked to speak to a manager or someone who was not a complete imbecelle. I was then hung up on so I called another Meineke literally 6 miles away and was helped without issue .I continued to call back to the olathe location and they refused to answer the phone until closing . I waited until the next day called and was placed on hold after asking to speak to a manager, I waited 25 minutes hung up called back again got the same rude employee from the previous day who then said they had my number and would call the police for harassing them.LOL last time I chacked asking for a manager was not considered harassment. I then contacted thier corparate office to file a complaint .Do yourself a favor and dont go to this location the lenexa location is far more professional they actually know what a windshirld wiper transmision is as well as what causes wiper blades to not return to their resting position

First off, I was told there was no way I had an appointment at 7:30 am because they didnt have any of those. I went on their website, and scheduled the appt. Then Pete argued with me about whether it was my front or back brakes that had been changed there previously. I told him it was my front brakes and he said, no it was your back. After he looked in the computer it was my front brakes. When I went to pick up my vehicle, I drive away and noticed it was making a loud sound at the rear of my car. When my husband checked my tires, the lug nuts werent even tight.

My vehicle broke down near the Olathe location. I called to see if they could check it out they said yes and when my van wouldn’t start again, they sent someone over to give it a jump. The reason I’m giving 4 stars is because I didn’t end up having them do the work, so I can’t speak to that. However, they quickly found the problem, were incredibly informative and kind and then when I tried to pay them for their help, they refused to let me. Based on my experience, the employees at the Olathe location are fantastic human beings.

Ive been bringing my cars here for the past 3.5 years. Ive found it rare to find such honesty in auto repair too.I have had my car repaired there 3 times. I thought my brakes needed replacing, and after checking them out, they told me I had another 10,000 miles left in them.EXCELLENT service!! EXCELLENT customer service.

Brakes serviced! Fast and polite. Also had needed the cabin filter changed and already had one bought. So one of the guys saw me trying to figure out where it goes, had come out and put it in for me!It is great of people to go an extra mile! Really speaks a great deal about the type of person youre dealing with. Ill go there for service again.

I scheduled an appointment for 12:30 and even received a confirmation email. I took off work, drive all the way over and arrived at 12:25. The man at the counter tells me that they have no record of my appointment and it would be another half hour before they could get to me. Horrible service and he acted like he could care less.

The price ended up being higher than what I was originally was quoted due to a miscommunication. The store manager ended up making it right and I left extremely satisfied. This place does good business and you can tell they are more concerned with doing the right thing rather than making a buck like a lot of other shops.

Quotes $45 for a diagnostic on the phone, increases price to $55 once I get there, actual price charged was $65, was told you got to pay taxes, you dont pay taxes? in a very condescending manner, even though tax was $5 additional and the other $5 price increase was for labor, isnt that the point of the quoted price in the first place?I asked for details on the inspection, but they did not want to explain the technicalities and was told if I wanted to do it myself then I am a huge waste of their time and would have been told to go elsewhere if they had known (These sketchy people tried to charge me $360 for a REAR ROTOR change and get mad that I asked for details of the issue???). The guy kept saying I dont know what Im doing and Im creating a danger to myself trying to scare me, Ive gotten my car checked by a former auto mechanic and several car people... it also doesnt take rocket science to change rotors like the guy tried to scare me into. I already knew what the issue was and I made that very clear from the start, I told them I just needed verification and wanted to proceed with my options from there. The guy also had the nerves to say the parts I bought are cheap and terrible, trying to upsell me rotors for magnitudes more than what its worth.To make matters worse, the issue is now WORSE and a lot louder than it was before they gave my brakes a checkup. Formerly, there was a subtle sound that was not audible at times and audible at other times. Now it is audible 100% of the time and MUCH louder, they messed with my car either out of spite, or so they could get me to come back. AVOID meineke at all costs.

Updatep: 12-15-18I scheduled an appointment to have my oil changed and when I arrived I was told the oil guy was overbooked and I wouldnt be able to be seen until Monday. I get that things happen, but I think it would have only been okay if I had been called before my appointment time to be told my spot had been filled accidentally. Really unacceptable in my eyes.Ive been getting my oil changed at Meineke for about two years. The price is reasonable and really good with a coupon. I have had my AC worked on and a tire fixed and I think the price was fair. I recommend an appointment because they are busy. The location is not optimal as far as getting in and out of the parking lot, but its not terrible. This car center is pretty fast too.

I was quoted $75 on the phone for exhaust work and when I arrived for my appointment it went up to $130 for some unknown reason. I told the technician that he would need a y pipe in order to do the work on my truck, he said lets put it on the lift and take a look. They then tell me they dont sell y pipes so they cant do the work I was asking for but tried to up sell me a $100 part that would work instead. I told him I wasnt interested in spending another $100 for something I didnt ask for since my original quote had already doubled. But this is when I find out there is a $55 diagnostic fee to put my truck on the lift and for them to tell me they dont have the parts and cant do the job. Very shady business practice not to mention this fee up front, not a word was said to me until I declined to pay another $100 for a part I didnt want or need.

I have taken my car here for years. They always explain what they are doing in laymans terms and are accommodating schedule-wise as much as possible. The rates are great, and I always feel like my car is in good hands when I take it there.

I have had work done when Sam and the really tall guy was there and they did great work. Just dropped my car off after waiting 2 weeks to take off from work. Travis quoted me $150 and after dropping off the vehicle he calls and doubled the original quote. I asked him why and he said because you have 2 mufflers being deleted. Mind you when he gave me the quote he asked what kind of vehicle i had and i told him Charger SRT8. My 16 year old knows that that car has 2 mufflers. I would stay clear of this place unless it is an emergency, then i would even think twice. A quote is a quote and you should honor your word.

NOT HONEST PEOPLE AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY THERE!!!!!!!first time i went in there i needed my heat shield fix (30$ fix) my dad had the same car with the same problem, because i was 18 they tried to steal my money and wanted to sell me a whole new exhaust system!!!!!second time i went in there my brakes were squealing so i wanted them to check my brakes, they told me i needed new rotors and it was gonna cost me 475$ to replace my rear rotors. 475$ to take off 2 bolts?!?!?!?!? so i went next door to advanced auto and bought 2 rotors and brake pads for 100$. went to take my wheels off and looked at my rotors, my old rotors looked the exact same as the new ones so i decided to just replace the brake pads instead. after replacing the brake pads i took my car for a ride to see if the squealing had stopped and it did. THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME 475$ FOR A 20$ FIX
