Waited in line for 30 minutes for the pleasure of paying for Stihl oil while the two attendants helped customers looking for obscure parts. No system for transactions not requiring obscure parts help. Don’t come in here unless you enjoy wasting your time.

We used another dealer/service provider for years before getting frustrated and deciding to try Heritage. That was about six years ago. Since then, I couldnt be happier. The service is great and always timely. All of the guys at the parts counter are incredibly friendly and very helpful. And their salesman, Joe, is very personable and will always listen to what your needs are and help you find the right machine, rather than pressure you into buying something else. Heritage provides an all-around great experience.

I use HERITAGE TRACTOR, not for tractors, but for HONDA LAWN MOWER, & STIHL LAWN EQUIPMENT! Outstanding customer service, as well as fantastic service department! In OLATHE, I have many choices for what I use HERITAGE TRACTOR for, many places sell mowers and lawn equipment, but very few will service that equipment. In this case, mine was serviced and ready for me in 1 day! Hard to beat that kind of service!

More excellent service you will not find anywhere. They have always been great for routine maintenance, but my latest encounter truly evidenced their commitment to customer satisfaction.Long story as short as I can...I blew out my entire LT180 mower deck running over a bush stump. They picked up, fixed, and returned the unit to me in less than a week...this during their busiest season! All other shops told me it would be six to eight weeks for repairs. But wait...it gets better. On the second mowing after this repair the mower deck fell off. Yikes! It seems that a rod that connects the deck to the the mower was missing and no where to be found in the yard.Heritage dispatched a pick up two days later. The diagnosis was confirmed, missing rod. This could have been a situation: was this independent of the previous repair? The good folks at Heritage replaced the rod (and belt that had consequently broken) and returned the mower at no charge!!!You can do no better than John Deere sold and serviced by Heritage Tractor.

We did not visit Heritage Tractor to buy something, but we were having an emergency with our work van. One of our wheels were loose and we did not have our deep-socket lug nut wrench. We came in to see if we could buy one from them, but instead they graciously offered to tighten our wheel for us. When we tried to pay Matt, the extremely nice mechanic that helped us, he refused even when we insisted. Everyone we met was very nice and they saved us. 5/5, would recommend this business anyone.

Worst customer service in the industry. Im surprised John Deere allows a distributor to operate like this. 1. Purchased a 5100M for 70+K 1.5 years ago. They installed the wrong fenders, ordered me the new ones. I could not get back in to pick up so they sent back to JD. When I took rig in for service and asked for fenders they told me they sent back. Then said I could get them if I wanted to purchase for a couple hundred bucks. I already paid for the things once. 2. I purchased a 25K mule form them brand new. Upon delivery the emergency break would not release completely and has an alarm that you can not operate with. Sent it to shop and they said it was fine. Jumped in when they dropped off and it took me three to five times to get the thing to release each time I used it. Sent it back in and they said they tweaked it and seems to be working. By the way, it took the tech three times to get it to release when he picked it up. The final time their little tweak fixed the issue after telling me I was wrong and three trips into the shop. THIS was a brand new unit!!! 3. The 5100M has had a constant issue with the transmission. Since about three months after I got it I was always having to hit the forward and reverse switch several times before it would engage. It finally stopped working all together. They picked up the rig and had it for nearly three weeks trying to find the problem. Replaced a board and finally got it to work. After about four weeks it started the intermittent not registering F or R when you flip the switch. It finally just stopped moving all together. The tech came out and said it was just the back gear box stuck in neutral. I took him at his word but knew that wasnt it. I know where my gear boxes are and where the heck neutral is. Sure enough, a week after he was out the unit stopped moving again. Again, will not move at all. It shows in gear then pops into N as soon as you let out the clutch. The tech did fix a warning light that was stating the fan wasnt blowing enough. Supposedly this is a problem on many of the units the fan is fine but the sensor is incorrect. By the way, they just sent me a bill for over 500 to fix that known issue. Its ironic that I always thought JDs larger machine were their quality. The little 1025R I purchased from them has been a work horse with very little problems. and Yes, that one cost me about 25K. Ive spent over 115K in equipment over the last two years at this shop and get terrible service and a lemon for the 5100M. If things dont get fixed soon, Im changing brands and looking for a different company to work with.

One of the wheels on my John Deere mower had a flat tire so I took it in to be repaired. The friendly staffed greeted me immediately and, when I explained what I needed, told me I could wait a few minutes to have the tire fixed. I told them I would be back in about an hour. When I returned, the tire was fixed and ready for me and without charge. To say I was pleased would be an understatement. We will be back!

Worst customer service Ive experienced in a long time. Call the service department to see about getting my lawn mower in for service and all the lady on the phone wanted to do was push a $369 maintenance package on me. When I told her no thank you and all Id like to have done was a repair I was told to take it to a dealer. Well guess what, the mower was purchased and had been serviced by Heritage Tractor before. This place is not friendly and I wont be spending my hard earned money here ever again. If it were possible to rate this less than one star I wouldve.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I spent 12k on a mower, $500 on a mulch kit that was sold to me as being a bolt on kit. Received the mulch kit that looked like it was used, had extra parts in it, missing hardware, no instructions. Installed everything but the baffles. Tried everything I could to get them on, but the kit was missing the bolt holes. Called service, once again, they told me to go back, that everything should be there for an easy bolt on install. Dealer INVITED me back in to put them on, saying nothing about charging me. When ready, they broke the news that drilling 2 holes to install those 2 baffles cost over $115! What!? Bad customer service = bad blood over a little shop labor that was understood to be warranty work. Will not buy from again......and the kicker is....I WAS READY TO BUY ANOTHER MOWER!!!

I recently bought a tractor from Joe at Heritage Tractor at their new location in Olathe, KS. I am here to tell you, this is a great group of guys. I am glad to finally have a tractor shop in the area that provides this type of up front customer care and provides great service. I also had an old Ford tractor that I had previously worked on by another shop (which I wont bother giving mention, suffice to say they are here in the Blue Valley area). The other place had it for a month, gave me the run around, and couldnt fix the problem. Randy in the shop had an awesome, inexpensive, solution for the issue I had. He took the time to make sure we took care of the problem once and for all. This is the only place I will take my business from now on.Customer service is number one here. Glad I was the first to review them...just wish I could give 6 stars!

I had them pickup my John Deere riding mower to be serviced for tuneup and oil change. Had just finished cutting my yard when they arrived and drove to load on their trailer. When they returned my mower they pushed it off the trailer & left in my driveway. I went out to put it in my garage & when started it up it was knocking & smoking horribly. I immediately called them & they picked it back up then called and said the motor was shot & it would cost more to fix that to replace. My complaint is that it was running fine when they picked it up but they returned it in salvage condition & refused to compensate. This is a crooked company & I would suggest not to trust them repairing your equipment

Very poor customer service! I called to verify that they had a tune up kit for my JD lawn tractor. YES we have it. The parts person did agree this was unfortunate but offered no resolution.
