I find most of the staff are rude and uncaring for the most part. They need to realize it’s us tax payers on welfare that pay their checks also. We’re there for help not to be disrespected or looked down upon.

Very patient and knowledgeable, people there legit seem to care about your circumstances.

They don’t do their job! I am in states custody and on their papers it says they will not let siblings that are separated not have contact with each other, and they won’t let me talk to my brother🥱 they need to be reported!!!

Okmulgee DHS is closed so stay home dont waste your time going there

I call and call and no answer. I drive up there to speak to my case worker the doors are locked and they have it posted call for an appointment. But no body answers. So during a world wude pandemic it seems they are not there help. Answer the PHONE SO WE CAN MAKE APPOINTMENTS

Well i just gave someone aride there so for me it was good lol

For the most part they are fast but not very helpful when I ask a question. They just give generic answers so I have to figure it put on my own

Could certainly be More efficient at this location very little knowledge or experience there for you, basically go here and call and office for information

Would have been great if worker had told us to call in for a new card and not go in the office for a new 14 days later and waiting again for the mail 7 to 10 days but the good news we have food now !

Very friendly and helpful staff. They were a great help to me when I moved to the location and ddnt know where anything was.

They seem to me that they want to see families as one. They help me out by giving me resources to achieve my goals i have been wanting to achieve. I have not gotten the chance to learn how to live as adult by growing up so fast, now thar i am using the knowledge that ive always had DHS and others NDN services as well are helping to know how to have a life and work to own something for my self and have the help i need i have good thoughts now they arre helping to make my dreams come true. So i years ago got my children taken and it was by my choice of continuing to stay in a home or place at the time with a man i love wen people think u r crazy and dont listen we tend to lose things as life go on we learn more. I like to give advice from own personal experience, to help others to maybe better there own lifes and avoid taking the road i took, DHS helps at the time wen a child or children are taken it hurts and your mad but look at the positive if you do what is asked and do the right things and dont try and beat the system you understand that at the time i know i was 19 with 3 children and a problem with drugs and not listening, now im older i know with out the resources i cant beat the problem with out true honest help from people in professional places that are trained to show you the right ways. I know i appreciate what they have done and are doing for me and now that im ready truly ready to learn right and use my own knowledge and the knowledge they give, i will soon have life with my family and not be like institutionalized and feel normal as i once did. Mothers need tvere children without them you feel lost, and with dhs and classes and the resources given i will soon have a family again a growing family at that. By helpers ive met and dhs ndns and help. Thank you for helping me grow and be apart of something very important to me again.

I gave a ride to a client to their office. The rude employees, coupled with the smell, made me go and wait in my car. It is so sad that people who are already needy have to be subjected to such poor conditions.
