Such a AWESOME GYM/FAMILY to be part of! This place is NOT just a place to workout. They are truly a family. The trainers really care about you and if you are doing the exercises correctly. They walk around the whole place during workout and will help you if needed. I have not had one bad experience with this place. If you are into in a great physical workout and meeting new friends and being part of a community that truly cares about you this is the place for you!!!
I was just in town today, visiting for work. A local friend of mine brought me in to work out with the 7 a.m. class. I typically attend CrossFit classes, but enjoy other gyms, as well. I have to say, this is one of the best gyms Ive visited. and Ive visited at least 25 to 30 different gyms across the country when I travel. The workout was great and the community was awesome. There was a wide variety of participants/athletes at the class. Everyone adapted the workout to their individual fitness level. No pressure to push too hard, but coach Jordan was there to keep you motivated.I really enjoyed my time there and hope to come back, in the future. I’ve been coming to this place since day one! I always feel challenged, encouraged, motivated and over-all like I am accepted in this largely diverse fitness family. This community of people and the trainers/staff will always go above and beyond for all its members. No matter your fitness level, they will have a great workout for you (modified if necessary) and they listen to your needs. I highly recommend trying it! Your first class is free!
I LOVE this gym, but even more than that I LOVE LOVE the people and the sense of community associated with this gym. For the first time in nearly 40 years, I’m enjoying working out and making my health a priority. It’s in large part Due to this place and the amount of support and encouragement offered by the trainers and other members. The workouts are fun and as challenging as you want to make them. EACH and EVERY workout can be modified to meet your fitness level, so don’t be scared!No need to worry about anyone strutting their tail feathers here! It’s not that kind of a place. EVERYONE is working to be better in some way and because of that they work to lift others up and encourage them to be better. It’s really remarkable!!I encourage you to give it a try (first workout is FREE!!) and see for yourself just what it means to be a Gritter!!
Where to begin? I’ve been working out here almost a year now. The workouts are great and challenging regardless of your level of fitness. The place is always taken care of, clean, organized, and friendly. The staff is far above any other you will find in the okc metro. The staff genuinely cares about you as an individual, not just your success in the gym, but also your success in your life. This gym is clearly a community that all can belong, you will not regret giving it a try!
This is a great place to workout! I’m still very much a newbie, but I’m absolutely loving it. The staff is welcoming & professional. They also push you to do your best. I also love the Christian aspect ending in prayer everyday- it’s not weird, it’s just really real. That seems hard to find these days.
My wife and I love working out here. We have been coming for 2 months now and have seen great improvements in our health and fitness. The trainers are great and do not put too much pressure on you, while still encouraging you to better yourself. I would highly recommend this gym to any of my friends!

I started at True Grit in Sept. 2018 with their first 5-week challenge. During that five weeks, I went from barely being able to perform the workouts to drastically improving my conditioning, all while losing 25 pounds. There are no better trainers anywhere than Travis, Jordan and Dillon. They will encourage you to push beyond your limits to get the results you want. And the people at this gym are amazing and pride themselves on being a fitness family. Everyone is so supportive, and they range from 20-somethings to 60-somethings in all types of fitness levels. Regardless of your current condition, you will fit in. It is also a faith-based gym and every workout ends with a prayer. Give True Grit a try (the first visit is free). You may come in thinking I cant do this, or These workouts are too hard, which is exactly how I felt when I started. Best gym in OKC Metro area, and so much more than a gym. The most supportive trainers. Doesnt matter where you are in your fitness journey. They will love you and support you. This gym is not intimidating like other gyms, because of the supportive members. I will never go to another gym. This is my gym for life!!!
Highest quality experience for box-style gym or boot camp Ive ever seen. My wife has been working out with the Owner for 4 years, but the last year (since True Grit opened) has been her favorite yet. I decided to join with her during that last year and Im grateful that I did.
I love True Grit! The staff takes the time to get to know you and they care about each and every one of their members. The partner based workouts are great for accountability and building new friendships. They have a wide variety of workouts and are always creating new ones, which is great for preventing boredom. I look forward to going every day!
My wife and I have been at True Grit for nearly a year now. We both love it! The environment and culture are unlike any I’ve found in OKC. Moving to OKC from Atlanta nearly 5 years ago, it’s taken me until True Grit to find a gym community/family that I genuinely enjoy spending time with. Everyone there is friendly, encouraging and promotes a spirit of health and wellness. The training staff design incredible training regimens and are always motivating you to keep pushing yourself - not in an intimidating, “be better” way but rather in a way that opens your eyes to the best version of yourself that can be difficult to see without the help of people like them pushing you. I highly recommend this experience to all my fiends, family and co-workers and to the community at large.
True Grit is really the best place to be! I’ve been going here for a couple of months now and I hands down love it! The atmosphere is filled with motivation and the trainers are more than trainers. It feels like a community.

Best gym ever!! The sense of community and support is like no place I’ve ever been. The trainers know everyone by name and seem to really care about the members and their progress. Travis & Jordan bring their doggos which is AWESOME, and closing out each workout with a prayer just makes me feel at peace. True Grit just feels like home ♥️

I have been a member with Travis and Jordan since Feb 2018 and have fallen in love with the work outs, group atmosphere and the community at True Grit. Jordan, Travis and Dillan all make sure you have great form to prevent injuries and that you are welcome. The partner based workouts are great for accountability as well. This is the ONE gym I have been able to stick with.
True Grit has been the only gym I’ve ever fully committed to thanks to many things. 1. The trainers truly care about everyone, push us to our goals, and they know everyone by name. 2. The amazing members. You may not know everyone but they still push you to work harder. 3. The variety of workouts and the ability to modify if needed. 4. It’s a faith-based gym. Thanks TG Fam did letting me crash the party everyday (well...4-6 times a week)! I couldn’t imagine my days without this place.

True Grit was the first HIIT-type gym that I tried. As a runner, I was intimidated by anything that resembled a CrossFit type workout. After one session though, I was hooked. The workouts are strenuous and fun and I get so much more out of one 40 minute workout than I can on a long run. The trainers, facility, and members are all amazing and make each workout more of an experience than an actual workout. The sense of community among the members is equally amazing - you will never feel discouraged or put down when there. Everyone is there to better each other just as much as themselves. The trainers are knowledgeable, friendly, encouraging, and all around awesome! True Grit has become a part of my routine and I intend to keep it as such. Highly recommended if you are in search of a gym!
Every couple of months I travel to Oklahoma City for work so I get my workouts in at True Grit. This place is, without a doubt, the best workout I get anywhere I go. Each day is different and always challenging. I can’t recommend this place enough!

I went to TG to appease my wife, who thought we should change our lifestyle. I never thought we would last more than a week. - I was so wrong. We didn’t miss a workout for months and we’ve been members for a few years now. TG has become a staple in our life. The trainers are amazing and the other gym members have become family on numerous levels.On a regular basis we hear, “I came one time and haven’t missed since.”My wife and I are in the best shape ever.
