I met Catherine through Express at a career fair downtown about a week ago. Within that time she got me an interview and I was hired at a great company. Catherine was beyond helpful, gave me great constructive criticism with my resume and helped me correct it accordingly, she has excellent interview and career advice, she is all around great at helping people find good jobs. Very friendly and kind but to the point and assertive. She made finding a job not only easy but very pleasant. Thank you!

Lazy recruiters who do NOT help. They lie and say they will, but they do not. They are rude on the phone when you call to inquire more about the recruiting proceeds. I wasted gas (that I already do not have) to get all the way there to get ghosted after I left. They told me to fill out onboarding work online, which I did. That was the last I heard from that crusty raggedy bologna stick of a recruiter. “I’m so good at my job. Blah blah.” Well prove it and reach out me to like you said you would. It is difficult finding jobs out here, especially with this plandemic popping off. Don’t say you will help but then don’t follow through on the help. Avoid this office at all costs.

I’ve been signed up for 4 weeks they’ve sent me 2 jobs (within a week of me enrolling. I haven’t received a job offer since july 6th. i Don’t know if it was just my lady but definitely feels like they just gave up forsure.

I waited 2 months to start training after I was hired. Start dates were always vague and pushed back constantly. They fire people out of the blue, and due to medical conditions. This office staff is nice, but I do not recommend working for the various contacts.

If you need a job quick, ask for Cali shes amazing! She got me in there and helped me figure out where I wanted to work and got me out of there really fast compared to most places I apply at where it takes easily an hour to just apply. I was in and out within 20 minutes.

This place is terrible, payroll is terrible. For the last month every week something has been wrong with my check or they didnt pay me on time. Even after they admit its their fault they dont give me my complete check because they say they have to do a cash advance so that I can get paid and they take out 30% of my check. I turn in my time sheets days early before they are due and every week I still have this problem. Now Im forced to quit without notice because I need to find another job that will pay me what I earned and on time. The pay is not competitive either.

I came here after having not worked for a year and a half while staying at home with my baby. Not only are they kind, but they care enough to stay busy finding you a job that best suits you and your wishes. I would highly recommend Express to anyone looking for employment.

Far from professional, the nasty old white lady with the sour face behind the desk at the front acts like I ran over her dog, because I was looking for a certain job. She then proceeded to tell me that field is a terrible field (oilfield) to get into, like working any of the other $10 a hr jobs she had were career jobs. Terrible personaility dont know how that woman has a job more so dont understand why she is at the front desk.

If zero stars was avalible I would definetly use that. Number one they are very inconsistent with whos working with you. Two once they do find you something they do not explain it they just say go to this place at this time. Three when you call to figure out what this issues is they claim your not ccooperating. Well im pretty sure you would be heated too if you got the run around and people hung up on you or left you on hold for over and hour so bottom line they dont want to help and blame you for not match an assignment even though had they explained the assignment you could have determined if you wanted to do that

Professional should be taken out of their title. Theyve sent me to a job inwhich the employer never showed up(fishy right). And then when o tryed to call them for further details, i was treated like a misbehaved child. No one including I, should not have to interact with this rude behavior, especially when tryimg to get help and clarification.

Unprofessional and rude manager told me that someone else could dependably have my position instead when I given my reason to put in my two day notice.

Good in a pinch, but not good as dependable income. Express was always good to me as far as quickly finding a job (although always for wayyyy less money than the position was worth), but I was a bit surprised to see just how much temp meant TEMP. Im not sure if it is the companies lying to express saying, Oh yeaaaa, its definitely temp to full time capable, or what... but I have only ever met ONE person who went from an Express Temp to a full-time employee.Using Express kept me employed for a little over a year, however, no one job was more than 3 months long, and each of them promised the ability to get hired on full time. I would say that if Express can speak more directly with their clients it would be perfect! The worst part was getting fed the dream about your pay increase and benefits once you got to a new job/location, only to find out that the company only required your help for those 2 months, and then having to wait for a new job to replace it.Work is stressful enough, life is stressful enough, but let me tell you, wondering when/if the company will pull the plug, time and time again, adds a whole other ball of stress to your survival. The people at Express are kind, and seem sympathetic and understanding of the need for a full time job. If you do decide to go here, you WILL get a job, you will get placed. Just do NOT enter yourself into any more financial obligations such as an apartment or cell phone until you know for certain that the job will last.I would have given this a full rating, as I was all for it when I first started with Express, but seeing the use-and-abuse factor of the clients to Express disheartened my efforts. I truly feel it is the companies lying to express about their true need for more workers, as the advantage is certainly on their side. As a temp, the company can turn-and-burn you on a whim, and not have to worry about a lawsuit, workers comp, unemployment, benefits, severance, pension, etc and youre defintely not going to collect unemployment from Express as they can just offer you a job (even if it is minimum wage) and that covers that on their end.I would have had no problem if I was told up front, this is strictly temp, because I would have valiantly continued my search for permanent employment. But, the constant let down of being told how good of a fit you are, getting comfortable and proficient at work, and hearing how life is all going to line up, and planning accordingly getting dashed four times takes the fight out of the dog. If I had it to do over again, I would definitely use Express, but do NOT stop looking for permanent employment elsewhere, and do NOT trust that it is temp to full time, trust me- its not. And thats not just my word, at each of the jobs I was at I interacted with my fellow temps and heard this same story over-and-over, rinse and repeat. Make a wise choice!
