They allowed me to self contract my own home with their help of making sure everything flowed correctly and checking over everything during the building process to ensure it was done correctly.

We couldnt be happier with UBuildIt. We saved sooo much money and were in charge the whole time. The staff was excellent at explaining the whole process and making sure we were comfortable with everything being done. Great job UBuildIt!!!

UBuildIt is amazing! They really care about their customers and deliver what they promise. We were able to build our forever house in under 7 months and ended up with over $100k in instant equity. Our consultant was a construction encyclopedia and always had an answer or solution to any problem that came up. We tell everyone we know, if youre considering building or remodeling a house, do yourself a favor and check out UBuildIt, we are so glad we did. It took a lot of time and work on our part, but it was definitely worth it to be in control and save the money that we did.

Everyone at UBuildIt was professional and experienced. They were up front with me about the work they would do and the work I would do (its called UBuildIt for a reason). I was able to build a house with no construction experience because I was always a phone call away from the information I needed to get it done. We LOVE UBuildIt!  There were some ‘hiccups’, I won’t imply that building a new home was a simple process BUT UBuildIt and my UBuildIt consultant were there every step of the way to help. We had to juggle the budget a couple of times to adjust to changes and it took a little longer than my goal. But in the end, a truly perfect home! I know every inch of it, whats there, why it’s there and why I made that choice! I saved a fortune (over $100,000 less than I was bid from a local builder). My home is perfect.Whats not to love?  Five stars and more if that was allowed!

Our ubuildit process has been really good. Our consultant David is very knowledgeable. We had a few bumps in the road due to weather, but we managed to get thru them. We are almost ready to move into our dream home.

Our experience with UbuildIt has been AMAZING!!! Our consultant is the best! We have been able to build our dream 4300 sq ft home and in a matter of weeks will be in our dream home. If we ever build again we definitely will be calling UbuildIt again and request our amazing consultant!

I had these clowns help me build a house,every time I went into their office, they wanted more money. I wound up paying about $23,000 for a 1300sq house. I was already in so deep, I had to continue. I did most all of the work. I could of had a builder build it for 1/2 the price. Run!

I tried to have a house built through U Build it.they told me that since I own my land. Free and clear. I was automatically guaranteed to qualify for a new home to be built on my land. . I would not recommend them and I would definitely encourage everyone to stay away from them. Took my money will not reimburse since they said they cant get approved for a loan. Their word is worthless

I wish I could give them zero stars. Horrible company. The worst experience I have ever had with a company. Delays, lies, broken promises, incompetent staff, and fraud. Staff in Texas and Oklahoma are unqualified and will get your design and construction wrong. Some of their past businesses have been shutdown by the State, and some locations are franchised. They keep changing and adding company names, but the registered agent and addresses are always the same. They have numerous negative reviews on google, Better Business Bureau, Yelp, Facebook, Joyrate, and Contractor review sites. GOOD NEWS UPDATE: Ubuildit locations across the country have been slowly but surely shutting down. Good job to the customers, lawyers, judges, and local BBBs!

We thoroughly enjoyed using UBuildIt as a resource for building our new home. They made the process very organized and easy. They offered a ton of help and our consultant, Mark, went above and beyond. We had a lot of built in equity by building ourselves and cutting out the “middle-man.” Being our own builder, by using this company, allowed for so much control and input. I highly recommend if you’re planning to build.

We had a great experience with this company! We were able to get multiple upgrades because of the money we saved. Rob my consultant was available anytime to answer all my questions and paved the way when things got bumpy. I recommend this company to anyone who wants to build a home and save money!!

Was interested in this company, until walking downtown until one of the stupid drivers tried to run me over while I was try to cross the street legally, in the cross walk!!! Worst part they thought nothing of it

We were going through this company in hopes of building a house the way we wanted, inside and out, while having guidance and structure to be sure things were done to code. The only thing this company did was charge us $5,000 to come look at the land and draft some designs with me telling them what I wanted, so they werent even novel ideas. The first month they purposely designed houses far outside of our price range. Only in the last three weeks have they designed somewhat the way we asked, but claim the house has to be at minimum 600sq ft bigger than what the lender required. Then, since they kept increasing the size, they said we wouldnt be able to build into the hill for energy efficiency, after telling us at the first land meeting that we could. Then, they went back on their word that we could build with recycled/used materials to lower building costs. They kept claiming it was the land driving up the costs, but that wasnt the case. They blatantly lied to us saying we would have to furnish the home with all brand new appliances or that it wouldnt appraise. Chris caught them multiple times trying to get us to use more expensive materials than what was required, again pushing us outside of our budget. Eventually, I decided Im not going to invest $200,000 in something that isnt the way I want it and requested only a partial refund. Attached you will see the way the OWNER of the company speaks to clients, with complete disrespect and more lies. So, my only hope at this point is to try and save others from making the same mistake as us because now we have to start saving all over again to buy something pre-built for the down payment. They preyed on our vulnerability of hope in a company with good morals and fed us lies the whole time. I truly would not have signed for them had they been transparent with us and how our expectations and wishes would not be met.Owner response:That may be the dumbest thing I have ever read.I have over $10,000.00 internal cost invested into you and your project at this time and as is clear in your agreement:You don’t have to move forward, that was our risk and thus our financial lossNo you don’t get a refund.If your happy wasting this opportunity to gain substantial self net worth via large home equity not to mention continued future wealth development as you pay off the home versus renting someone elses junk for life. Your call. We have done all we can do.My sincere advice. If you don’t like the home start over ESPECIALLY AS REGARDS YOUR CHOICE OF LAND!I mean I have a client last week. Wanted to start small. We are doing a 1,500 sq ft home on an $8,000 lot in Choctaw. Find cheaper land. Build simpler it’s your call. We have served above and beyond; I don’t see how the men and women could have done anymore.Let Phillip know if you change your mind, your agreement is good for three years. Although please note per the agreemne that there could be an additional cost for another planning phase

After listening to the hour long sales pitch, their cut is entirely too much for empty promises. Theres no guarantee of any tangible savings. This might work for some but not us.

A+ I Wanted to save some money on my remodel by doing my own paint and tile work. The other companies that bid my house all seemed to have a problem with that. U BUILD IT didnt have any issues with it so I went with them. I ended up doing my own clean up and paint but let one of the subs do all the tile work because of his price. I thought that I was going to save more money than it actually ended up being so I took the easy road. Everything turned out great and I was $7,000 less than what the next closest bid was

UBuildIt is with you ALL THE WAY and DO what they say they will do. We had a very good experience every step of the way from the beginning of signing the UBuildIt contract, through the budget stage, and then onto the building stage. We couldn’t have hoped for a better management consultant during the building phase: Mark Harden, our management consultant, was the best!! While Mark held our hands, making sure we knew all about the repercussions (both good and bad) of any decision we were about to make, we NEVER felt pressured to take his advice; he was ALWAYS there when we needed him. Also, Mark was quite knowledgeable of all aspects of the building process, and we believed that the subs were very aware of it. This was very helpful living in the country where there are no local building inspectors.

Let me first start by saying that we have started this process with timber ridge homes which is located in the UBuildIt it office. We paid for the planning phase and everything went well. Our floor plan was great and our budget meeting with Scott was informative. However, after further thought we decided this was not for us. So here is our story. I hope you read.This is the most awful company I have ever dealt with in my life. They are LIARS and do not stand by what is verbally said. They LIE and MANIPULATE you to sign the contract they put in front of you. Once they have lied and you sign it they no longer care about what was said verbally and will act like it was never said. I was told, “that is a he said/ she said situation.” These people are greedy and do not have a decent heart. They can completely be ruining a families dreams and could not care less. Instead of being understanding that this was not the best choice for you and your family, you will get bullied and cussed out because you have chose not to go with them. We have been dealing with Keegan and he has been the most unprofessional person. He has never once put himself in our shoes, we have tried to be nice and respectful in hopes he would have a heart. I truly believe he has enjoyed telling us that we will not be able to build with another company for three years. He doesn’t care that he isn’t getting our business, but he cares to put our dreams on hold for three years. I repeat, DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING WITH THESE PEOPLE. They told us they would have this house in our budget and after they had us sign, it was FAR over our budget. This was our families dream home that we were so close to building and they have took it away from us. Future customers, you have been warned.

UBuildIt-Edmond actually tried to help me but my wife stopped them. I paid the non-refundable fee and was about to get the project started when she got involved and killed the project. They gave me a great floor plan to increase rent for the project when it was going to be said and done.I wished I had the opportunity to work with them.

I loved the fact that me and my husband were the ones making the decisions not some company just looking to get paid . UBuildIt gave us advice and options and even let us choose the subs and suppliers that would be working on our project. For the majority of the project we went with subs and suppliers that they got bids from but we did our own painting and clean up. The whole process was a blast.

I do not have a review but I want to comment on the the spokesperson. Apparently he lost a lot of weight..Kudos to him. Hopefully 100 years to come he will be around. God bless you build it always. Gods favor forever..vince

Don’t ever give this company your contact info. We were doing research on possibly building a home back in 2014-2015 and signed up for their info packet. I have received phone calls up to 2018 despite telling them we purchased a home already. I’ve blocked the number but still get voicemails.So if you like getting spammed with phone calls for years sign up for their “free” information.Update: just got my first call of 2019 from UBuildIt. A full 4 years after signing up for their free info kit.They also call from multiple numbers so when one gets blocked, they use a new one!

This is a bait and switch company. They promise you things and then change it to stay in your budget. Most people just pay and dont realize you are paying just as much as if you just got a regular builder that did everything for you. It is not worth the stress or headache to use them. The special pricing you supposedly get at local suppliers is just like any other business starting high, and coming down to make it look like your getting a great deal. When in reality your paying more then if you dont mention you are using ubuildit. Your better off finding a quality builder, which ubuildit isnt a builder, everything is farmed out.

My remodel project went great. The staff was professional, the subs were easy to work with, and best of all the price was affordable. I will use them again in the future.

UbuildIt was awesome. My wife and I got to build our dream home and they were about $15 a square foot cheaper than any builder in the state.

1. Paid for them to project manage, not project consult. Instead, got project consult level of service.2. UBI’s recommended subcontractor for plumbing, Linn’s Plumbing, absolutely terrible from start to finish. When asking to stand behind work, get double talk and argument. WORST PLUMBER EVER! Not until I mention gas smell in house, did they come out to check, more interested blaming HVAC sub. Crew they sent out was awesome. Owner of Linn’s very difficult to work with, unwilling to fix errors when they occur, attitude is, you just have to live with it, was your privilege we did your plumbing. No backup from UBI.3. Concrete sub ended up getting lien put on our lot because he took our payment, did not pay his materials bill, and enjoyed a christmas vacation. We fired him and used another concrete sub, not a UBI preferred, to do driveway, patios, and sidewalks.4. During planning phase, UBI failed to account for cost of retention wall.Strongly encourage anyone to reconsider using UBI. Frankly, bet you could hire a project consultant, for less that would do more.(Response to Owner Reply, 9 May 2019)We did advise project consultant and office of issues with subs, on multiple occasions, with unsatisfactory results. In other words, UBuildIt was consistent in performing poorly.

Total waste of money and time. You could do better by calling any building center and ask for help. We wasted our money and time. Please dont be like us. If you really need to have disappointment go with Ubuildit.

Very bad experience, they will not stand behind the customer, I was told my house plans would be put out for bid, found out Not 1 sub saw my plans, all of the proposals I received in the worthless “book” they give you, none of the subs would honor or do the work for that price, I spent over 60 grand extra for my house, I complained to anyone that would listen at Ubuildit and the response was always the same, we can’t make our subs honor the prices on the proposals,

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They are theives and con men. We are having to sue them under the consumer protection act to get our earnest money back.

We contacted them about an add on to our existing home. Instead of giving me an actual written estimate on the job, they tried to talk me into building an entire new house. Not what I asked for!

In my experience Huge Waste of time and money for our family!Our Job:We converted a small 3 bed 1 bath into a 5 bed 3 bath with many updates throughout.Cons: We continuously struggled to get a response from our point of contact. We spent countless days waiting on a response, Waiting on the budget, waiting on him to reply to the contractor. Waiting, Waiting, Waiting. It took us forever to get anything done with UbuildIt. They had multiple turnovers during our project so our job kept getting passed off. We literally had to call and email and text and write emails over and over again requesting help to get any help from UbuilIt. Long Story short we finally gave up on getting any help from UbuilIt and started getting quotes directly from subcontractors and finally started getting some work done on our Remodel. for the quotes that UbuildIt did get for us when i called to speak to the subcontracters they all were surprised at the cost that UbuildIt quoted. We learned that the bids were made up so every step of the way we had to deal with Subs who say they didnt agree to the price that UbuildIt had provided us. I dont think they ever actually spoke to any subs i think they just made up a budget and handed it to us at a cost of thousands. I think it is also important to mention that one of the subcontractors told me that the UbuildIt representative asked for them to up the price of the quote so that they could pocket the money if they wanted the job. The Subcontractor seemed like he was being honest but all i know is what he told me i never pursued legal action. You are better off going it alone than using UbuildIt and of course if you can find an honest General contractor it may be worth the cost to let someone else deal with the project.Pro: We enjoyed the design process which we could have done outside of UBuildIT. We strongly recommend hiring a design expert to draw up plans for your remodel. this helped us throughout our project.

And we’d build it again with UBuildIt!I was very impressed with how accurate the estimate was from UBuildIt.The money saved in managing this project ourselves along with the UBuildIt Consultants, allowed us to take on a project of greater scope than we could have if we had used a general contractor.Weve been recommending UBuildIt to others because its like having a member of your family with the immediate expertise to advise you.We actually saw UBuildIt along with other contractors at home shows. Once we talked with UBuildIt it became clear we were most comfortable with them helping to provide us with contractors that would do a good job and give us a good rate. Contractors don’t want to do small jobs. UBuildIt alleviated a lot of problems for us.
