I came here with my daughter with her flower girl dress and my MOH dress. Also, brought dresses for cups to be added into the dress.I asked him for specifics on the dress. He was unable to price his work based off a a reasonable hourly rate. He was trying to charge me 200$+ for a dress that honestly he didnt seem to excited to work with. I understand the material was cheaper, its from amazon. But he told me it like wasnt worth the money to alter without actually telling me verbally. My daughter is 4 and he was not kid friendly IMO.I dont understand why a business owner would put Wedding and formal sign in their window and not be enthused or professional about how he goes about his work.

I recently underwent an elective surgery and I’m required to wear a post-operative garment for a couple months. Prior to reaching out to Trans Custom I ordered a $200 “custom made” garment from Columbia, it came in and didn’t fit me at all as it was far too restricting. So I ordered a cheaper one on Amazon and brought it in to Trans Custom Tailoring to alter it to my size. They did an AMAZING job for a quarter of the price of the initial garment I ordered. The garment fits me perfectly and I plan to have them alter it once more when my body needs tighter compression. I highly recommend this business to everyone in the city!! Extremely quality work for a great price. I only wish I would’ve reached out to them earlier before wasting all that money lol.

Very helpful and quick turnaround with 2 full suit alterations. This is the 2nd time I have gone in and appreciate small businesses, he has been around since 1995 I believe and there’s a reason for it.

Brought 5 items here for the first time to be hemmed and tailored. When I came to pick up my items two of the dresses were still too long and I asked if he could make them a little shorter and he got defensive and said it’s not my fault and it’s going to cost extra. I explained to him that it wasn’t a problem I would just like the dresses slightly shorter so I can walk and so it’s not dragging on the ground. I paid almost $200 for one of the dresses and paid him $18 to hem it. He said it would be an extra $10 to hem the bottom again and that I keep changing my mind and it’s not his fault. I have taken my clothes to get tailored for years and have never experienced a reaction like this. It’s unacceptable to treat a customer this way. Also felt as if I was over charged for the items I brought in to be tailored. I’m now going to have to take this dress elsewhere and have it hemmed again. Very unprofessional, will not be returning and would not recommend.UPDATE: The owners daughter reached out to me within a few days after I picked up my items to rectify the experience that I had. She was very kind and apologized for my experience. She refunded what I paid for all the items that I brought in to have tailored. I do appreciate how quickly she reached out and her effort to make things right.

Incredibly experience. Easy drop off and pick up process. Thorough questions and measurements to make sure they knew the purpose of the alteration. Incredibly detailed and honestly better job than the clothing manufacturer! This will be our alterations shop for sure.
