Took my wedding dress here for alterations. Alterations were supposed to be for a May 2020 wedding that to postponed to May 2021. She did not have the alterations ready by the May 2020 date, but I knew COVID could have caused delays. The alterations were very expensive, but overall I was satisfied with the dress when I eventually was able to pick it up. I kept it safe until I was ready to try it on closer to the May 2021 date. When I tried it on again, the buttons for the bustle had fallen off even though the dress had not been worn or attempted to be bustled since I picked it up from the shop. I made an appointment to come back in to check what had happened to the bustle. When I came in she didnt recognize me or the gown and tried to tell me that I needed it hemmed even though she was the one to have already hemmed it. I told her again I only needed help with the bustle. She said it was missing buttons and did not recognize her previous work from the photo of the bustle I showed her. She then said that it would be additional money to fix the bustle, even though her hands were the last ones to touch it. She said she was giving me a discount but I still felt like she was taking advantage of the situation. Would not recommend for bridal alterations.
This will be 1 of 2 reviews, Today I took my daughter to have her Prom dress fitted for alterations. The service I received this morning was exceptional, Super Friendly, and she was Fast and Efficient with her work, based on todays experience alone I would recommend Anhs, Will do 2nd review when we pick up the Dress.
The work Anhs did for us was well done and done in a timely manner. Customer service was gracious not only to us but everyone who walked in the door. I saw customers come in with their favorite pair of jeans to have the zipper replaced to a bride whose wedding dress arrived 5 weeks before the wedding. The customers were all treated with calm respect. We need more businesses like Anhs.
After using many other seamstresses that haven’t listened or understood what I wanted, I found Anh’s. She’s phenomenal, fairly priced, and has a good turn around time. I wouldn’t use anyone else.
Where do I start? Anh went above and beyond for me. I had a major hiccup three weeks before my wedding and she executed my vision to the very last stitch. A very good friend of mine and I had the *exact* same dress - our weddings were 3 weeks apart and both of our husbands were in the weddings.I felt like my dress wasn’t mine anymore and it lost its magic. The Bridal Boutique in Norman quickly got me in to find things we could change in a short amount of time to make my wedding dress my own.I showed up; to what Anh thought was my last fitting, with an arm full of lace and fabric and a collage of screenshots on my phone for her to go off of.She cut up a spare dress I brought to make the *wings* instead of a veil. She added a belt and made the most beautiful new lace straps. She cut every lace flower out of the swatches I gave her and sewed them with the most gorgeous design onto new straps.I could go on and on. Anh and the Bridal Boutique made my dream a reality.... and to be honest, I loved it more than the original.10/10 would recommend Anh. Over and over again.
I went to have my new rank insignia sown on my service dress blazer (Air Force) and was over charged $20! The other alterations stores in the area have charged $10 or less. I made the mistake of assuming it would of been no more than $10 before bringing my blazer to her. Otherwise she did a good job.
Nice work, but over priced
Amazing!! I inadvertently lost weight and needed my bridesmaids dress taken in for an out of town wedding and they had it done in TWO days!! I couldn’t be happier.
Good prices, excellent work.
