I decided to check this place out, and put them to the test since their site says they have been voted the best Barbershop in OKC multiple times, and was voted #1 New Business in 2018. I do like the layout of the parking lot and building. All the Barbers in there are personable, friendly, and skilled from what I could see. My barber was Alex. He is a newer barber, and only has maybe 2 1/2 years of experience. He could use more experience on straight razor shaves, but other then that he is a good friendly barber. Over all this is a good spot, but they are on the more exspensive side.

Traveling across the country on tour right now, and couldn’t find a barber in multiple cities. Was grateful to be able to secure an appointment at Midtown Barber. Colson did an excellent job. Thanks!

12/10 place to get your hair cut. Really cool group of guys that have created a fun and friendly environment. I see Halen but I’d recommend any of the barbers there. They also have a cute dog that roams around inside. So bonus points for that.

A few years ago my barber of 35 years passed and I was nervously looking for a new barber. I am somewhat picky regarding my haircut but also really enjoy conversation. When I discovered Chad, I knew he was my new Barber. I followed him when he opened his own barber shop and He manages Midtown Barbers like a pro. It’s a very comfortable place and the entire staff are professional and very friendly. It’s a great environment. I definitely recommend highly. Chad has been my barber for about 5-6 years and I know Midtown Barbers will be a long term barber shop in OKC midtown for YEARS to come.

The staff here is very skilled, and the atmosphere is super welcoming. I was apprehensive at first because Id never been to an actual barber shop for haircuts before, but I dont think I could go back to the chains after this.

Came into OKC for work, needed a hair cut + beard trim. Found this place out of the blue, and it was the best experience I’ve had at a new barber. Colston was great! Friendly, could keep a conversation going, overall did a great job. Would definitely come back to this family owned business !

I brought my groomsmen here the day before my wedding so we could get a clean hair cut and look nice for pictures. Chad and his crew did an AMAZING job and made the whole experience so much fun! I originally had 8 coming so he brought it extra staff to help and helped me bring food into the shop. They are so easy to talk to and make your time in the job such a great time. These are my favorite barbers in the city. They have a ton of experience and give the most comfortable environment with a high quality haircut. They will get a razor out to clean up little details in your haircut and theyll wash your hair too. Ive been going to Chad for a long time and trust him as a friend now.

I’ve got quite a bit to say about this shop. Halen took care of me and my two boys. He was awesome in building rapport with them, made sure they were comfortable and made sure that their cuts were exactly what they wanted. He trimmed up my beard and again, he was very professional and personable; very easy to talk to. The shop itself is fantastic. Love all the old school decor and the camaraderie between everyone! Will definitely be our new spot!

2 weeks ago I needed a last minute haircut and these guys were the only available barbershop at noon on a monday. I was a little put off by the price, but I needed a haircut. When I went in they seemed nice enough. I had not gone to a barber since the first lockdown! I had only cut my hair by myself. I had a lot of hair. I asked my barber for his advice on what haircut to get... that was a big mistake! I ended up with a terrible haircut. My barber knew that as well. I knew he knew by the way the conversation tapered off and he seemed perplexed. At the end he asked me what I thought. For the first time in my life I told a barber that I didnt like the haircut. He then proceeded to tell me he was limited with styles because my hair is simple. That may be true, but at least he could have given me a good looking simple haircut! I wont be back.

I’ve been a client of Chad’s for longer than I can remember. He and his staff are friendly, precise, and totally professional. I have never failed to come away from Midtown Barbers with exactly what I asked for and feeling that it was totally spot-on.

I have been going to see Halen for about a year. Best hair cuts Ive ever gotten. He takes a little longer than I was used too, but thats because the dudes an artist. Not just chopping away and saying hand me a 20$ 10 out of 10 highly recommend!!

I do NOT recommend this barbershop. The staff seemed to be nice and the design of the shop is great but, the haircut they gave me was totally different from what I asked for. I had longish hair around 7 inches at the longest part and asked for a trim and they cut off almost all of it without warning. I recommend this place if you want a very basic cut and do not care style you want. If you want to choose a style and want to get what you asked for, DO NOT come here at any costs, also it is very expensive for not really getting to choose your own haircut. DO NOT GO HERE.

Besides a fantastic haircut(the straight line razor is worth the extra cost) it’s got all the amenities from scotch to leather recliners in front of a large tv. You’ll want to hang out after your cut because it’s so inviting.

Chad was my barber a few weeks ago and he gave me a great haircut. I normally get a medium skin fade with just a little off the top and he gave me exactly what I wanted. Shop was very clean and had a cool theme with comfy chairs to sit in while you wait. Being able to make an appointment was also awesome. Great price, Barber and pup. Her name is Nadia and shes friendly. Will definitely be a repeat customer in the future.

Found these guys by mistake, and do not regret it. I live an hour away from OKC, but will definitely be coming back.My stylist did exactly what I needed. Ive been coming to this barbershop since they opened and have had nothing but exceptional experiences and super stylish cuts! All the barbers are super professional and the shop has a bit of a rustic classic vibe that is really welcoming. The guys support a bunch of local causes and are continually giving back to the community! Really an awesome spot. Book an appointment and you wont regret it.

A Couple friends from work recommended that I check these guys out so I went in and got a haircut and my beard trimmed by Cameron. I have never let anyone touch my beard because I am very picky about how it’s done, I have to say I will never go to another barber besides midtown barber. Cameron did a phenomenal job on both my hair and beard, and the atmosphere of the shop makes it very comfortable, all the guys are super cool and easy to talk to, feels like going to hang out with your buddies and not like a typical barber shop. Keep up the awesome work fellas, I will be recommending all my buddies to you.

Completely unaccommodating service. I have gotten my hair cut here several times and it has always been great. Awesome atmosphere and very skilled barbers. Everything is wonderful as long as you operate strictly on their terms. I was running ten minutes late and I called to let them know and I was unequivocally told they could no longer accommodate me, unless I wanted just a quick clean up. A quick clean up is $15. I am not paying $15 when I will have to come back in a week and pay $30 for a regular haircut. For the record my cuts usually only take twenty to twenty-five minutes start to finish, not the full thirty minutes for which they allocate.It is unfortunate when a service provider believes that they are so special that they forget that the job is to take care of the customer. I work in the restaurant industry and if a guest took the time to call to advise they were running late I would figure out a way to accommodate them, even if I was booked solid. If a customer takes the time to extend you a courtesy you can certainly do the same in return.I understand that it may be a bit of a hardship, but when you provide a service you find a way to make it work for the customer whenever possible. There are many skilled barbers in this city, and the only thing that truly sets them apart is the level and type of customer service they provide. After years as a loyal Lakeside Barber customer I chose to take my business to Midtown Barbers because of the ability to make an appointment, which worked better for my busy schedule. I thought I had found a great place to get my hair cut for years to come. Unfortunately it appears I was mistaken, as poor customer service is always a deal breaker for me.

Cannot stress enough how great a place this is. Went in and explained how I felt my cut never quite looked right. Chad took the time to go through style I preferred and how to make it work with my head shape. Great looking cut at the end. Small attached parking lot. Nice leather recliners with complementary drinks, snacks, coffee. Leather barber chairs, hot foam used for shaving/neck line, nice old school feel to it all. Will definitely be making this my go to barbershop.

This place is great! It is always a great experience regardless of what service I schedule. My primary barber is Chad and he is top notch when it comes to haircuts and straight razor shaves. They offer complimentary drinks, snacks and a comfortable area to relax (in the rare occasion you actually have to wait). I love that they work by appointment too. I needed a straight razor shave one week when Chad was off and scheduled an appointment with Michael. That was a great experience too. It is nice to know that you get a consistent experience regardless of who does your haircut or shave. I highly recommend this place!I took my 3 year old to Chad for a cut. Chad, as usual, made it a great experience. My son loved it and did not want to leave. Perfect cut as always. This place is top notch.

Fantastic barbershop. It has a super comfortable waiting area with leather chairs, TVs, and complimentary snacks and beer. The cut itself was very well done. He left it a little longer in a place I wasnt used to, but took the time to explain why he did it. He then offered to cut it shorter right then if I wanted, or said I could try it out for a week and if I didnt like it I could come back in for him to shorten it up free of charge. As of right now, he was right but it was outstanding service either way.

After spending a year trying out different shops and barbers I think Ive found a winner. Several shops I had good experiences with but Midtown ended up being the best. Michael is the first barber Ive actually returned a 2nd time to and thats likely to continue! Hes straight to the point but also willing to answer questions. Hes also incredibly quick but in a good way. Its clear that hes not rushing, he just knows what hes doing and gets you in and out. Highly recommend trying these guys out if you get a chance.

Awesome experience. Just moved from California and was looking for a good local barbershop. Saw this place on Google maps and decided to give it a shot based on the reviews. Michael was great and did a phenomenal cut. Complementary snacks and drinks are just the cherry on top. Very comfortable seating for beforehand with leather recliners, USB charging ports, and lots of snacks, magazines, and a coffeemaker (in addition to the drinks). Moving to the Midtown Barbers location was a great move for him and for Midtown. Book an appointment with him...you wont regret it. Very professional and understanding if you want to talk on some days or not. The price and wait is well worth it. Any other haircut chain can not compete to this start up company. The best part are the drinks (soda or alcoholic (21+)) This is the only place that Ive been to that has been able to handle my thick hair and not try to thin it. If anything, they gave me tips to style it better since its so thick.

I’ve been going to a Chad for a longtime. I literally have never had a negative experience. Midtown Barbers deserves every bit of these 5 stars! Everyone in the shop is extremely friendly and competent. There’s always fresh coffee brewed, cold water, soft drinks, comfy chairs in the off chance that you might have to wait a few minutes (almost never happens). I won’t go anywhere else as long as Chad is clipping!

This place looks awesome! The inside area is great as is the barbers who work here. They have complimentary refreshments, great liquor selection, lounge area with sports on a flat screen! This is the place. It brings all the history of a classic barbershop to the present. While you’re waiting they have comfy chairs and sports on. They have snacks, coffee and drinks. Nicest guys. Plus a great and detailed haircut. I’ve never left disappointed.
