Service was amazing! Morgan and Sidney were overall the best part, they were very nice and understanding on what I wanted, they know how to do their job very well but still make it fun! They haircut and beard cut was amazing and comfortable! I’m rocking my new style!!!To the people upset because they try to get you to sign up for a membership…. Of course they try to sign you up, it’s $1 for your first hair cut and it’s donated so I wasn’t upset about them trying to get me to sign up but they were not pushy by any means. I signed up and bought some products too and I regret nothing! 10 stars if I could give it!

My haircut with Peggy was great! Moved from another state and was hoping to get a haircut similar to the one I had before with my previous barber of 5 years. Having curly hair, it’s always a chore to find a barber that knows how to cut it well. Peggy nailed it after seeing my pictures on the first try. The hand treatment, scalp and face massages were also a nice add-on. The rest of the staff was also friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is modern yet masculine, you can tell a lot of thought went into the design and making it nice. Signed up for the membership and have made it my new barber home.

Ive tried over a dozen different barbershops and none of them could ever get my haircut right. On a whim I decided to give Elephant in the Room a try, so I signed up for their $1 haircut. My stylist was Sydney, and she was FANTASTIC. She immediately deduced what the other barbers had gotten wrong about my style, and absolutely nailed my haircut on the very first try. The service was incredible, and I left feeling refreshed and looking better than I have in a long time. I was so pleased that I didnt hesitate to sign up for their monthly membership. So let me say first of all that this is kinda my fault for arriving late, but I just don’t like the fact that if I show up 10 minutes late I get pushed off for another week. The people here are nice and they probably do good cuts, but I just seriously hate that they can’t seem to accommodate for people being a little late. I’ve had plenty of other places cut my hair and if I show up late, they at least make an effort to fit me in and usually succeed. I get EITR is pretty busy, but this is still frustrating.

Haircut was very good, albeit pricey. Great atmosphere and a premium experience.The reason I couldn’t give 5 stars was because of an experience I had towards the end. After the haircut, I had a sales person attempt to get me to sign up for a monthly membership. I was totally fine with this... but when i told her I’d like to think it over, she started high pressuring me, refusing to take no for an answer. She became rather rude when it was clear she wasn’t going to be making a sale.It became really uncomfortable and I probably won’t be back for that reason alone.

The staff of Elephant in the Room were extremely hospitable and made you feel at home. The atmosphere of the barber shop was very welcoming and comfortable, something that I believe is important when getting a haircut. My appointment was with Sarah and it was great! She was very kind, knowledgeable, and made sure that I was comfortable and alright each step of the way. She made the experience more than just a haircut, which I enjoyed greatly! They also offer discounts when signing up for a monthly package if you are a student, which was a great surprise! I would definitely recommend this barber shop to anyone wanting a professional and enjoyable experience.

Awesome Experience!!! We came to get cleaned up before my friends wedding and these ladies did a fantastic job. Emily and Jamie made quick work of the haircuts and beard trims while still executing them flawlessly. Kendra took over on my scalp massage and shampoo and it nearly put me to sleep. This was a great experience and I’ll be back soon. 10/10 would recommend.

Gina & Kendra were amazing in providing me excellent quality service I would recommend this shop to others. They are also generous enough to provide not only a haircut, but many other generous things such as waxing your hands and bathing your hair all for $1 on your first visit.

First and foremost Kendra was fantastic. She made sure that I was well taken care of and introduced me to how everything worked. $1 for first timers is a fantastic deal. Sydney was AMAZING! highly recommending this place to anybody and everybody who wants to get a haircut who is a man and wants to get that specialized treatment. For any good hard-working man who just wants to be set back and be able to relax with a nice cold drink and enjoy a hot towel, haircut, beard trim, shampoo etc. They can do it here. This was my first time coming out here and will certainly not be my last. Got some products from them that will help with my hair and they have great deals for a month to month basis and even have a plan for I believe $78 where you can come in up to six times a month to get a haircut with several extras. If youre someone who likes style and relaxation you need to come here. Sydney was the best and Im looking forward to working with her again soon.

My husband was so surprised and happy.The appointment office was amazing. This was my first time at Elephant in the Room and it was awesome! In the past, I have hated getting my haircut because I would spend an hour waiting in line. Also, most places I had been to had a total Bro culture, which made me feel like I was stepping back into the 1950s, but in a bad way. This was a totally different expierence. I walked in and was sat in one minute. Everyone was kind. It felt privite, which is so much better than looking at a bunch of dudes you dont know while you are getting your hair cut. Emily was wonderful, kind, and gave me a great haircut. I am excited to have a place I can go to get a haircut without waisting my entire morning or afternoon.Thanks again!

I had a haircut with emily truly fantastic. I am starting to suffer from male pattern baldness and she cleaned me up and made me real sharp truly excellent service. One thing though to know is they will try to sell you on a monthly ACH subscription but you have the option to choose a preloaded 6 visit gift card which i did which can be used anytime. They did try to sell me real hard but i liked the service enough for a 5 star.

Honestly the haircuts at this place are amazing, I’ve always left extremely satisfied and get a lot of compliments on how I look. The customer service is where I have my issue. I haven’t had a single consultant among the various employees I’ve spoken with at two different locations who can accurately explain the membership program. I was only ever told about the discounted prices and extra services. I was never told how much it costs, if it even costs anything, when I would be billed, or about the “commitment clause” which prevents you from being eligible for a refund. At the end of the day it’s my fault for signing papers I didn’t read but I felt cheated into paying for something I didn’t want and being told I agreed to something I wasn’t aware of. I wasn’t expecting to be charged and was told they would not refund my money even though I explained I was not fully aware of what I had agreed to. Times are hard in this pandemic and I don’t have a single penny until payday now. I will be going somewhere I can trust with my money from now on.

I love this place. Sydney was a rockstar. She was super friendly, cut my hair to absolute perfection. She even knew how I had my hair cut previously. Which was 7 months ago. The shampoo was nice. I have super dry hair an that shampoo was amazing. There is also the wax they put on your hands, that stuff is pretty freaking cool. It made my hands felt so soft. An on top of that. They give you a face moisturizer massage. That felt good. I could have fell asleep in the chair. So relaxing.

Im so glad I started using Elephant in the Room! Im new to OKC and had to find a new barbershop. After trying two others in the area, this is absolutely the one Im sticking with. The monthly subscription is perfect for regular haircuts. Theyre quick and its a great barbershop environment! Sarah has cut my hair multiple times now and does a great job accomplishing exactly what I ask for and makes the experience a great one. Totally recommend!

This review is for the Nichols hills location, I was unable to write a review there so Im doing it here. I walked in and it was clean and the staff was kind. I sit down in the chair and show a variety of pictures that I would like to be my new hairstyle. T.. (dont want to list full name because what happened to me was truly a crime) began to cut my hair and I couldnt have been more dissatisfied. It looks terrible it was a 15 minute cut and over 4 inches were taken off. Including the complimentary shampoo and conditioner. I cant overstate how bad it looks. I left the salon with my hair wet and and pulled back behind my ears bc thats what I was instructed to do. I walked out and needed to pick up some groceries on the way home and was too ashamed to be seen in public in my current state I decided to wait. It was terrible stay away.

Just got done using them for the first time and I really enjoyed it! Mackenzie was my stylists and she was nice, professional and very knowledgeable. Since it was my first time I got the deluxe package for a $1 and it was very relaxing! I also really like the free clean ups around the neck and ears anytime you want if you sign up for the membership. I am unsure yet if I will keep the membership but I will try them another time or two and if they are consistently awesome then I probably will.
