Kari was wonderful and took me right away! I loved how welcoming she was and super sweet! The shop was decorated nicely as well and they offer complimentary beverages. I will be back for sure!!!!

I went here because the old owner there was great and cheap. I go here under new ownership and I’ll admit it was much nicer and cleaner than before and the people looked nice. When I got done with my haircut, 1)- he was suppose to use a #2on my beard and he cut it too short and then he didn’t even line it all the way up! Didn’t realize it till I got home. 2)- it was $30 bucks and all I got was a little knocked off the beard and line up my taper fade. Nothing off the top. I was a little upset but I was hurting for it and I knew they were because they just opened up.I WILL NOT BE RETURNING!

I have been going to get my haircut at Charlie’s for the past 6 years. He was one of the best in the city to do it. I kept trying to call and his number was disconnected and now I’m on here and people are saying RIP. Does anyone know what happened to him? Wasn’t expecting that at all.

This is his son. I would like to inform that my dad Charlie has passed away from a heart attack. This all happened on March 17th and it was just too sudden for my brain to comprehend. Sorry for saying this very late but I have been trying to cope with the rest of my family. R.I.P.

Charlie is a great guy that gives a good cut. I have been going to him since he opened up off 36th and Meridian, and have not once been disappointed. I get complements on my hair every time I go see Charlie. Yes, there is always a lot of guys waiting for a cut, but since he quit smoking the wait is definitely shorter, and you can still watch ESPN while you wait.So skip the chain haircut places or those fancy salons, head over to Charlies for a real nice clean cut. His place may be a bit messy, but the company, conversation, and quality cut is well worth it.

Charley simply knocks it out of the park. Every. Single. Time. I have never been disappointed with a haircut here. The wait is sometimes a little long, but the conversation is always entertaining. And always makes it worth the while.

Needed somewhere that was open past 5 that wasnt a trendy overpriced salon. Gave this place a try based and the reviews, and Ill definitely be coming back. Very small shop, and it appears to just be Charlie that does the cuts. Very friendly dude, but laid back. Quick, cheap, spot-on style even when I gave him a rather vague description of what I wanted. Cash only, worth every penny.

Good ol fashioned cut at a reasonable price. Charlie knows how to use clippers and he doesnt charge you a fortune for a clipper cut. That way you can keep your hair short with frequent cuts and stay on budget.Something to note when looking for this place. Google Maps currently has it on the wrong side of the intersection.

From out of town, google lead me to Charlies and im glad. Fade was on point, friendly service, and convo was good. If your looking for a Clean cut... head to Charlies youll be happy you did. Thank you Google and most of all Thank you Charlie.

Ashes all over his workspace from incense. Hair all over everything. Yuck. Neurotic, bored fish with nothing to hide in but their net.The haircut is alright. Just alright. The beard trim is super irritating. He cut all the stuff off that I wanted to keep. He left the parts I needed to get rid of.My boss says dude, what did you do to your beard? Nobody has said anything like nice haircut.Theres no way Ill go back to let him try and make it right.

I definitely found my new barbershop! Charlie is super coo, fast, cheap & knows what he is doing. He informed me that my original barber had passed away & thats why he wasnt open anymore but Charlie worked in his shop b4 he got his own 7 yrs ago.

Took my younger boys in for a haircut and waited patiently for our turn as it was a bit busy. I show him a picture of what Id like for them to have and he basically tells me in front of everyone that its an old mans haircut and am I sure this is what I want. Being the only female in there at the time this made me feel awkward and asked if he as a professional barber, did he have a better suggestion and he says no. Ive taken my kids to get haircuts many times and never had a stylist/barber act like my choice was a problem. Sorry, but we will not be back.

Look, i was really excited to try this place but got turned away at the door because he was closed. I came at like 5:30pm and the place closes at 7, and the dude said it was because they were too busy. One, there were like 2 other customers inside, and two, what kind of business model is that anyways????
