Lady that answers the phone is rude. Charged for 1 1/2 hours when the towing was 12 minutes round trip. My dad’s 4 wheeler got stolen this summer. Police recovered it and Puckett’s picked it up. We were notified and went to pick it up and they charged $200. On a side note, my dad died a month ago.

The lady who works Friday nights was very nice & helpful. She did things to help make this a less stressful experience…She located my registration online, printed it out for me, & advised me to be sure and keep it in my glove box. I did not know that the paper with your new tag year sticker IS THE REGISTRATION. She, also was VERY PATIENT, & printed my insurance ID card out, however I was extremely nice to her because it’s not their fault your car was towed. They do what the OKC police requested. Unfortunately, she has to deal with angry upset people who “THINK” they’re “NOT AT FAULT & THEY TAKE IT OUT ON PUCKETT’S” She will be helpful, but if you’re a jerk, then you can go get a copy of your registration by yourself. She does things as a COURTESY to Cooperative, Calm, Accountable Adults who treat their business with respect. Additionally, my Lexus was not damaged during the towing. But, I’m sure if my bumper was already damaged then it could get pulled off. But again that’s not their fault. Also, “IT’S NOT THEIR FAULT” if you don’t have PROOF of CURRENT insurance, registration, & driver’s license. OR THE $210 to GET YOUR CAR OUT.” Remember to “BE. NICE” no matter what the issue. You get more done with HONEY, than VINEGAR. That lady does an EXCELLENT job & I really appreciated everything she did to help me.

I worked directly with Chris Puckett, the owner of the service and he was so professional in helping me resolve my car situation that was involved in an arrest impound. It was a very unusual circumstance and he walked me through the entire process and gave me the best result possible. He truly cared about my individual circumstance and Im grateful. Highly recommend this service!

Yeah they have tow trucks. That they use to salvage vehicles and sell. But you’ll never get the title if you buy from them. I have been waiting SIX MONTHS on my title, that is seemingly lost. The owner, or whomever Chris is, will NOT let you get a word in when you call. If you use them for anything other then towing services, be sure to have a lawyer handy. They’ll be hearing from mine within the week. Terrible customer service and even shadier business deals.

Pucketts will take care of you and not gouge you on the price. You never want to have your car towed but if it has to be, call Pucketts.

Pucketts is just a legal company backed by cops with a license to steal your stuff. They either make requirements no other wrecker has where u cannot get the vehicle out.If you can get it out you realize they ve stolen everything out of your vehicle and once its outside the gate they r not liable. They park the car at the gate so your screwed..I truly hate this company and its business dealing. I recommend any company but this one.

I wanted to thank the lady who assisted my dad and me today getting his car out. It was a mess from start to finish but she was helpful and kind the whole way through. Some employees it seems they WANT to make your situation more difficult but she wasnt one of them and helped as much as she could within her abilities. Thanks.

I setup an appointment at 3pm for 6pm that same day (wanted it between 5-5:30 but was told that was shift change and they asked if I could wait until 6pm so I would get the first truck). when I called to setup the appointment I told them it had to be a flatbed since my truck was 4x4. I also told them it was an 1989 F350 was quoted $165 for standard towing $180 for flat bed.at 6:05pm I had not heard from anyone yet so I called and was told the driver had yet to make it into the office and that he would be on his way as soon as he got in.at 6:45pm I had not hear from anyone yet so I called again and was told the driver had to go to another location, the dispatch said he was hooking up as I was on the phone, but he had to drop off in Norman prior to coming to me (I was in downtown OKC). I was rather upset that I would have to pay $180 and wait another 2 hours for the tow truck to even got to my location (3 hours past my scheduled time). The dispatch lady then said, let me see if I can get another truck over thereat 7:30pm a truck finally showed up. Driver was nice. He starting filling out his paperwork and told me it was going to cost $195 to tow. I asked him why it was over the $180 I was quoted and he said B/c the Dispatch didnt know it was a 1 ton 4x4. I explained to him that is the exact reason why its a flatbed and not a regular wrecker. The locks on the doors do not work so I needed to towed out of downtown at to my house so I could secure it so I agreed to pay the $195 instead of the $180.at 8:30pm I tried calling to see why I was charged more than quoted and no one answered the phone.The next morning I called again to see why I was charged more than quoted and why it took 1:30 to get a truck on scene even thought I had an appointment and was told there was nothing they could do, that police calls take priority (even though they have multiple flat bed truck) and that the person who quoted $180 was wrong in doing so.So if you expect someone to be on time and give you an accurately quote I would suggest you call another Towing Service...

These guys do a thankless job. They arent always the people you want to see. They do there job with the utmost integrity and professionalism.

Was in an accident and OKC police called to have my incapacitated vehicle towed.It was a traumatic experience but not having to worry about moving my vehicle was worth it’s weight in gold.The tow driver wasn’t overly friendly or talkative but he was efficient and got my vehicle moved quickly.I was very stressed about getting some items out of my vehicle and they set up a time for us to grab everything.Yes, the office workers aren’t overly friendly but they are efficient and straight to the point.If you come prepared you will have a much easier time.They escorted us to the lot for security reasons and I noticed many security measures in the lot which I was thankful for.The escort was friendly and talked to us about the accident and life in general.We came across Pucketts a second time when my son got into an accident.The tow driver arrived quickly and got the vehicle moved. He gave us ample time to move valuable items out of the car before he took it.Again, not overly friendly but efficient.

Worse business ever, worse customer service ever, the whole culture is terrible, nobody should be treated like they treat people who need to get their cars from their impound. They give a lot unnecessary hard time in order to give your car back, they leave standing there without telling you that they get back to you. Rude people. It is not about the cost and charges at all, I would careless. Your attitude is like price tag, it shows how VALUABLE YOU ARE.

This place when I first went was really small and ugly,but after awhile I started to see and realize its functions and daily tasks and true commitment with people in the neighbourhood.

The lady in the office is absolutely HORRIBLE! NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. This place also lies. We are told one price then held onto the vehicle to get a higher price. The front desk lady needs to be trained or fired from her job. She alone is a reason not to go there. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. THEY HAVE LIED AND KICKED US WHEN WE WERE ALREADY DOWN. We got hit by an uninsured motorist and for working in a profession that deals with some of peoples worst times in their life they just dont care. If I could say worse things on here about the front desk lady I would. Im afraid it wouldnt post though. Very uneducated. USE SOMEONE ELSE.

Horrible, they were rude on the phone with me and left it up to me too call them back to see if they found my title. Which made the the interaction go passed 5 and therefore had to pay more money to get my car back. On top of that, they completely gutted my stereo system out of my truck in the time it had been towed to the junk yard and I was able to get it back. My stereo head plate already came out when I rolled the vehicle but I did not rip my whole center console out that held my stereo system... I mean seriously, just sad. Poor business experience and models apparently.

In addition to being prompt and professional, the Puckett team went well out of their way to move our trailer when our car broke down. They maneuvered it out of a tricky spot behind a dumpster and took it to a safe place before towing the car. We worked with three different people who were on call that night and they were all extremely warm and courteous. When they took us to the station to switch drivers we noticed a plaque on the wall commemorating their dedication to assisting in the Oklahoma City Federal Building debris removal after the terrorism incident. It is clear that the reason this company has been in business over 100 years is because they do a great job. Thank you Pucketts for helping us out!

The lady was awful! She hated the world and charged fees that made no sense. She wore no mask and coughed while in front of me and my 5 month old baby! When i complained about it she said i should have left the baby in my car! Seriously??!! I told her by city ordinance mask are required especially bc she works there!!# DO NOT GO HERE!!

As long as you do what you need to do. And have what the paperwork that you need to have. Everything will go smoothly. But dont think youre going to sweet talk for special treatment. Because there isnt any. But they were nice and polite. And at the end of the day... I was happy and satisfied.😀

The driver on duty was very helpful in moving the front of the car out so that we could gain access to the front tow base plates which also have us access to the tow hitch as well. When we got our vehicle back the radiator was cracked and they claimed our car was parked up against a curb. After reviewing the security footage the driver dropped our car and the matter was never reconciled. Pictures were taken and security footage available but the owner claims his drivers word stands against the evidence.

Very pleased with the service. I had two times within a one month period of time that I needed to have a vehicle towed. Each time, I called Pucketts, the dispatcher took my details and told me how long it would be before a wrecker would be there. Just as promised, the wrecker arrived within the time span told to me. My vehicle was carefully loaded and taken to the repair shop that I designated. The driver on each occasion was very professional. I felt their charges were very reasonable and I was very pleased with their service. Pucketts has been in business for many many years and Im certain, because of the high level of service they give, they will be in business many more.

Today started out as one of those mornings where everything seemed to go wrong. I called pucketts after locking my keys in the car and they gave me the breath of fresh air i needed today. The staff was very friendly and easy to understand and the services were surprisingly affordable. HORRIBLE experience. The OKCPD had Pucketts tow my car after an accident. I only dealt with the large, extremely rude lady who works at the counter but she seemed to take getting my truck back as difficult as possible. Once my vehicle made it to the body shop, I was informed that there were no keys to the vehicle. Pucketts initially told me that there were no keys when they picked up the vehicle. Wrong, it states clearly on my hand receipt that they received the keys. Pucketts told my insurance co that I came in to retrieve person items and the keys. WRONG, bold face lie! I went to Pucketts to show paperwork and have my vehicle released. Theres no record of me or anyone else receiving personal property. Later, Pucketts stated that the vehicle left their impound with a key. WRONG, the body shop had paperwork stating that there was no key when they received the vehicle. ALL LIES. So, I was forced to come out of my pocket to pay for a locksmith. Worst of all, no one was surprised when I told them about the horrible service and missing keys. Pucketts is known for that type of behavior. Avoid the downright RUDENESS, SHIFTINESS, and possible THEFT. Take your business somewhere else. Plus, the Pucketts office and impound is a dump. You dont want your vehicle there.

Needed a last minute tow this morning... they were there within 10 - 15 minutes and delivered safely to its destination. The guy driving was SUPER SUPER SUPER nice, as well as the folks in the office! Thanks Puckett for outstanding service.

I have the worst luck when it comes to cars. I had to have a car towed twice in two months because my family doesn’t realize that car maintenance is an essential duty of owning a car. Each time, Puckett’s wrecker arrived on time after I called and my spouse’s and my son’s cars were loaded carefully. You should have seen the look on my son’s face. It was priceless. The cars had no problems being towed to their location, and I feel the professionalism of the drivers serve them well in business. Puckett’s is reliable when you need your car towed. As for my family, I think they learned their lesson!

If there was an option to leave negative stars on here, I would be rating them a negative 50! The office lady Kathy was SOOOOO RUDE!!! My friend was simply trying to understand the process to get his vehicle back and she was extremely rude, condescending and completely unprofessional. I asked her to please explain something about the process & she said no I’m not repeating myself...I was totally taken aback. I cannot remember ever being treated so poorly by a business. And on top of that I stayed completely calm and extremely nice the entire time, but she continued to treat us so rudely. The least she could have done was smile and thank us for our business. I’m just flabbergasted that a business would allow an employee to treat their customers so poorly. I rarely write reviews and have never written a negative review, but I wanted people to know my experience at Puckett’s so that as few people as possible have to deal with what we dealt with today. I could go on, but you get the idea.

These people stole my ford expedition from me when I had everything I needed to get it out plus the money they said it would be 400 to get my truck back and when I called to tell them I had they money they said I couldnt have my truck or any of my belongings out of it which included all of my work tools this is a terrible place to do business with they took everything from me

Lady was kinda rude.

Recently, we had an incident where our brick mailbox was accidentally knocked over. We couldnt get anyone to come out because, Im sure, it was a small job and no one wanted to waste their time on doing such a small job. It occurred to us that a wrecker service has the type of equipment for such a job. We called Puckett and they were out here in less than an hour. They set the mailbox upright and that solved the problem. A brick mailbox is no lightweight, so we certainly appreciate their service to us.

My vehicle was illegally and wrongfully impounded by Puckett wrecker service. They still sold my dads vehicle wrongfully and illegally. Poor excuse of customers service and I never recommend Puckett wrecker service.

I have had two very bad experience WOW.There comes a position of being a human not thives.Why would I say this angree ?NO? Because when you walk in and say Im here with my mother and we have Lost her husband in the car accident can we just go get his belongings he has died but we cant find the title we dont no where he put it.The blonde aged lady was rude . She said you dont have a title cant have your beloveds stuff . Change is needed help with the Law.But one more little thing my son lost his grandpa you took his stuff. Not only his grandpa stuff his dirt bike to we had just bought him.Yes no title so you go ahead and keep it All Because its not for me to judge.We will leave it up to you to take a long hard look forward to changing your mind.No matter how you look at it your taking belongings and you apparently dont want to give them back to his wife.

Gave me a quote for a tow and everything- $147 to tow from south okc to 23rd. She said itll be around afternoon. A day later nothing has been towed and she denies she agreed to come get it. Im now having to sue in small claims court for damages.

My car was towed here after an accident. The police stated that it would be free of charge seeing as the guy that hit me was clearly at fault.. Its not free, but the lady I dealt with was pleasant and apologized for the police officers misinformation. We got stranded here in okc with this accident and we live out of state.. now I get the news that I cant get my car back cuz my insurance cancelled and its being repossessed.. The lady here allowed more to go through my car and get what I could out of it and they didnt rush me. The man even offered to hold my mothers ashes till I figure out where Im staying cuz theyre heavy and toting them around all day would have been awful.. I havent had good service anywhere in this awful city until I came in here. These people where extremely helpful and kind unlike EVERYWHERE else in the horrible city.. Thank you PUCKETS!!! Even with all the bad news and being stranded and homeless till I find a way back to new Mexico, these people were friendly and helpful and compassionate.

The large lady with blonde hair is SOOO rude and unprofessional. She mean mugs you as soon as you come in. When you ask her a simple question she rolls her eyes and makes it seem like her job is so freaking hard. I personally work in the customer service industry and that is in NO way the way you treat customers. We have called Puckett’s on multiple occasions, for lockouts, breakdowns, etc. Theyve always been fast, helpful and courteous. Certainly not at all what I expected from a tow truck service.

First time I got my car towed, the guy who picked up my car at the scene was rude, and the two receptionist I talked to were rude and not helpful either on the phone or at there office. I know there busy, but they got to change or go out of service!! Wont even let me get to my car to get stuff out even if when I brought my title.
