Got gotten here at Sals on N MacArthur second business from N.E corner of 23rd and MacArthur for a brand new spare tire that was under my truck. Guess they jacked it because 15s can be hard to find, and probably took it upon themselves to assume I didnt know the tire was there because I just got the truck. I came back several times within a 2 weeks period for the same issue spending far more than I ever imagined, this isnt my complaint auto diagnosis is sometimes like this and doesnt always mean the issue was misdiagnosed or done incorrectly. I just couldnt believe my tire being ripped off the manager desk guy seemed very respectable. The desk guy absolutely knew the tire had been ripped off, he saw when I noticed. Second time I took the truck back Im sitting outside on the bench as laborer is pulling it in the garage, desk manager is inside at the desk. Im checking out the truck as its going in the garage when I see a ratty tire under the truck instead of my brand new spare, manager desk guy is watching me watch, as a distraction or sense of manipulation he rushes to my cup I left sitting inside and rushes the cup out to me. Only he knows whether he personally took my tire off or his laborer, also, the ratty replacement tire was a incredibly dangerously worn discard tire, very dangerous to travel on. I had to buy another spare. Im embarrassed to say I went back for another large repair, where I would see misbehavior from the desk manager again, I feel I was gotten on the repair, and willfully, I let myself be manipulated to believe the repair was needed, I was able to think clearer after the labor.

Fixed both my CV axles on a 93 VW Eurovan for a reasonable price and super speedy! Definetly go to this shop especially if you are a solo female not wanting to get ripped off elsewhere!

Fast! Less than a day turn around. Great customer service and very friendly. They replaced my compressor for my AC and I can keep cool in the brutal summer. I found my local mechanic shop. Def recommend!

I went to Sals based on the reviews. I had a family member tell me as well that they had heard great things about them. I got shocks an alignment and oil change done. I started to here some noise and my husband noticed as well and said that something was not right. I did not have him take it back for me while he was in town because I thought I could trust you all. The manager then proceeded to tell me it was another part. I then trusted you all again and had you all fix that part. I went to get my vehicle and did not get far and realized there was an issue. I went back and spoke to the mechanic and he advised that he did not have time to look at told me it was bad luck come back to talk manager tomorrow and laughed at me.I could not bring myself to go back due to each time something went wrong and I was worried they would do more damage. I took my vehicle to a mechanic that I had been going to for years to have them take a look. They advised me that my steering was jacked up and the alignment was not done right and that was why my traction light was on. I got mu vehicle fixed thankfully and they also advised that the extra part I was charged for that it was impossible to break unless ran over multiple times. They advised that it most likely had to.do with the shocks like I had said but instead of fixing it they got me for more money. They in the end took advantage because I was a woman that did know enough and I will never be back and do not recommend them to anyone. I tried to get this resolved and unfortunately the manager was full of excuses. Do Not Go Here!!!

I left 60 dollars in the middle console when I left my car for over 3 hours which was pretty quick for the transmission work they did, the money was still there untouched. Great service and good people.

I was in town for a funeral. Drove in late Friday night and my car started having issues that seemed like the transmission around 3am. Took me until 10am to get it to Sals. They were open on a Saturday, took me as a walk in, got the parts for my 08 Eos and fixed it for less than 300. Turns out it wasnt the transmission at all, it was an ignition coil. I was on my way a couple of hours later. Highly recommend!

First they are not cheap. Second, in most cases, you have to go back after they finish an expensive job. I got an engine check and they said they replaced a valve for $180.Next day, the light came back on and I went back.. i decided to wait there for 2 hours till they replaced/repaired the new valve. Previously they charged $500 for an oil leak which continued. On returning and showing them leak, they said it was from another place and not where it first leaked.🙄

I think this place is great. Been here several times for my vehicle and am now taking my fiances vehicle here. After reading the negative reviews on here, I felt like adding something. I worked as a mechanic for 7+ years myself and I usually have a good idea of what is wrong...however, unless Im going to do the diagnostic work myself, Ill leave it to the mechanic Im paying to figure out whats wrong FOR SURE and to do what ACTUALLY needs to be done. Sure, tell them what you THINK and even what other places told you, but dont tell them what is wrong or what to replace, thats their job to figure out. Also, this place isnt a chain so you shouldnt have the same expectations going here as you would if you went to a chain. If you want a place that will learn who YOU are, be friendly and tell you what you actually NEED done, then I recommend sals. Theyll give you the best estimate they can and get you taken care of as quickly as they can, but remember, its just an estimate. Ive actually paid less than their original estimate twice, paid the exact estimate twice, and its cost me more once. Lastly, this is the first place Ive gone in my LIFE (Im 40) that will allow me to bring them parts Ive already obtained.

We contacted Sals on Saturday afternoon (Thanksgiving weekend) to replace our radiator which had failed on our trip from New Jersey to Nevada. Not only did they answer the phone on my first try, they were courteous, friendly, informative and made time to assist with the repair. These guys literally saved our Thanksgiving weekend. We told them that the engine has low compression on one cylinder and to fix it, they charged us $1500.00 and called and told us it was fixed, I did a compression test on it when I got home and nothing had been done to the motor. This was for an elderly lady and they ripped her off!!!

The customer service is the best and even though they are busy every time I go there, its always a welcoming environment. Ive been coming to Sals for a few years now. I bought a 2017 BMW last year and every time I need anything at all I call Andrew and he ALWAYS gives me a much better deal than anywhere else! I am wary of taking my car to just anyone but the staff at Sals deals with all kinds of cars including luxury brands. They know what theyre doing and this is the first shop Ive ever been able to fully trust. Plus there is no bs, no trying to sell you extra stuff, no keeping your car longer than needed. I saw another review that said they are just part changers and I have to respectfully disagree. They have gone above and beyond for me and my family. My mother in law has an old van she uses to clean carpets and they fixed it up after hours to get her back to work ASAP. I send my loved ones to Sals because I know they will take good care of them. Other shops should learn a thing or two!

So rude two days in a row. The first day they were to busy to see me and the guys was very short. The second day I came back to see if they had time and was quickly sent away.

We were in OKC for the weekend and our radiator blew on Friday evening on the highway. All the shops were closed, so we couldn’t call anybody to verify they would be able to work on our SUV. Many of the shops were not even open on the weekend, but Sal’s was. I drive a Toyota and not everyone works on imports either. I was however, able to reach one of the employees on Friday evening (after they were closed) through Facebook Messenger. They assured me that they did indeed work on Toyota and would be able to replace the radiator. He also said he would work hard for me to get it back to me this weekend because he knew I was from out of town and leaving on Sunday. So we ended up having the car towed to Sal’s and keys were left in the overnight box.I spoke with them at 9:00 am the next morning and they said they would diagnose the issue ASAP. Got a call 20 minutes later and said they could have the radiator replaced by 1pm that day. I was blown away. These people were treating me so well and they knew I probably would not be a repeat customer because I didn’t live in OKC. True to their word, it was ready before 1pm and for a very fair price. I fully expected to for them to overcharge for the labor because I was from out of State, but they didn’t. Had a great conversation with them before picking it up and they said they believe in honesty and they do try to treat their customers right. When my wife went to finally pick up our car and pay, they showed her the old radiator and how hit had a big hole in it. I love the transparency.Can’t say enough about how well we were taken care of by Sal’s Auto Service.

I went to Sals to get some maintenance done on a GTO I had just bought. I wanted to make sure everything was checked out before making the 2 hour drive home. Im very skiddish about who I let work on my cars. Being from out of town this was way outside of my comfort zone. The staff at Sals set me at ease quickly. I could tell they knew their stuff, and they took care of my car like it was one of theirs. They were all respectful and friendly.

I was driving down MacArthur Rd and decided to have these guys take a look at my 05 Acura MDX with over 200,000 miles on it. Oil was leaking everywhere. They gave me an honest assessment of what I needed to fix and what I didnt. I got an extremely fair price as well. I visited a second time for strut installation. Great place, people and prices.

This place is a joke. Theres never anyone inside at the desk. I had to wait for someone to help me all three times I went by this shop. I had to come back because my transmission flush was going to take awhile which was fine but when I dropped the car off on Saturday at 8:30am then called at 3pm for an eta for when it would be done, I was told it would be two more hours without them even asking which car. Their service may be okay but the customer relations are a joke. They need to hire a real desk attendant that knows how to handle customers!
