Shine came out to my office building in Okemos and cleaned the inside and outside of all the windows quickly and thoroughly. He was professional and friendly. They did a great job on our large home that has many windows. They couldnt have done a better job.

Staff did a shoddy job. I asked them to wash the screens and they charged me more for running a paper towel over the screen. They broke an expensive window treatment and made no effort to repair or pay for damage. I contacted the manager and he said he would come to see the damage but he never did! The experience was a big waste of money. They didn’t clean the dead bugs from the window.

Our home had a particularly challenging gutter and downspout cleanup waiting for Shines group. Nearby maple trees deposited a lot of seed-pod samaras (aka “helicopters,” “whirlers,” “twisters,” or “whirligigs) onto our roof. Such seed pods eventually got stuck in our gutter guards, creating various blockages. The necessary work was quoted on a Tuesday, and Shines techs visited us the following Friday and completed their initial work in about 30 minutes or less. However, slight miscommunications during the quoting phase and the techs first visit left part of the cleanup incomplete. I contacted Shines office later that Friday to discuss whether our work order was fully complete. With care, patience, and discretion, I also emailed pictures and videos of the initial work done. Shines supervisor, Jeremy, agreed that that primary work required improvement, and so he sent a team out the following Monday to finish the job. Jeremy personally supervised this secondary work free-of-charge, taking special care of our roof, porches, and gutter guards. He also threw in a complimentary removal of roof debris, which was very kind. The second visit and complimentary work were much appreciated, and my wife and I are fully satisfied with the work accomplished. We highly recommend doing business with Shine for all your roof/gutter cleaning needs!

The technician Bradley arrived on time. He was polite and courteous yet very professional in doing the work contracted. Bradley was very thorough in the power siding washing and the window washing. He explained what he was using and answered any question I had. I would not hesitate recommending this company to anyone especially if you can get someone like Bradley to do the job. My house now truly Shines.

I was impressed with when I asked what was done in cleaning my easetroughs and what was in them. I received a response to my questions, especially when I asked about a screen that was on top of my gutter. Whether it was any good or not. I was also impressed with the knowledge the young the service technician had. From what I could tell he knew his job very well and that he was the right person for the job. No one in their 50s or 60s or older should climbing a ladder or getting on top of a roof.

I had a different company do the house last Christmas and was very disappointed. Decided to give it another try with Shine, so glad I did.It went smooth, no surprises, and looks great.

Shine of Lansing was recommended by a friend. We set up an appointment--a fairly long wait time--and the job was done this morning in a little over an hour. The worker was courteous and very professional. Upon completion, I reviewed the work and pointed out a few minor spots needing additional cleaning. He did them promptly. We discussed a few areas where there was discoloration due to aging, etc. In the end, the results were great--from green to clean. I will definitely use their service again when needed.

Our service provider was polite, hard-working, and efficient. He checked with me about my satisfaction during his work. When I followed up the next day after noticing that two windows were not yet fully clean, I received a follow up call immediately. An employee came out the next day to clean the remaining areas to my complete satisfaction.

We contacted this service some time ago. He gave us an arrival time and, after dealing with contractors for several years, I was reluctant to really expect them to show even on the scheduled day. But lo and behold, they were at our door at 8:30 on the dot on the promised date. Contractors with respect for the busy lives of their customers. Bravo! They got to work quickly. They assessed our situation and took care of it without delay. Their quoted fee was not changed. They didn’t come up with unnecessary fixes or add ons. We feel they were very honest, polite and friendly. We highly recommend them.

I had some gunk building up on the side of my house. I reached out to Shine and after passing along my address and email, I was given a quote within a day with exactly what I would be charged. I called and made my appointment. The staff was friendly and respectful. Brady was sent out to provide the service. He showed up on time and was informative about the products and the process he was going to perform. He was also very thorough in his work. I highly recommend Shine to anyone. I feel like I have a new house! Thank you Shine!

I was told by Eric from the Lansing office that the job would take 1 to 2 hours however they were done in 40 minutes including setting up. We were also told that they would be here by 8am. They didnt show up until 9:10am. When they first showed us the finished job the siding was still wet and it looked okay wet but once dried we noticed places that needed to be retouched. I called the office so they can return to do it correctly. I wasnt at my house the second time they came but my wife left early from work because we were told that they would be here around noon or a little later. She got here at 1140am. I told her if they dont come by 1pm give the office a call. When she called Shine at 1pm she was told that they had arrived at my house at 11am. It seems that all they did, was maybe wipe up a few places with a rag and that was it. The siding and the grounds were dry. The guys never communicated with us to let us know when they were coming. Hopefully when they come back to finish the job this third time it will be done correctly. For this third time we were told at 1pm that they had to finish one other job and would call us when they were on their way. It is now 4:25 and again...zero communication. I definitely will not recommend Shine to anybody. Terrible service.

The first time I used them, (first time house washed in 20+ years), they had to come back due to all the years worth of dirt that bled from behind the siding seams. They did so promptly and took care of it without any questions, hassles, or additional costs. This is the second time I used their services and I am still very satisfied relative to all of the above categories. In fact, we are planning on having them wash the house every 3-4 years, depending on how bad the moss or whatever gets on the north side.

Nice people and were efficient and considerate. I was expecting a little more “elbow grease”... dirt staining around doors and entryway siding did not come off with their process. Using a soapy brush was very effective ( my husband demonstrated this) but not part of their deal I guess. At the end of the day it didn’t feel like the house looked much better. We paid for gutter cleaning but they reported almost no debris in the gutters. I can scrub the entryway siding ( and I’m a 73 year old disabled woman.) but hoped to have had it sparkling today.

I am giving 4 stars, which I think is generous. We had our house, deck and windows done last year by your company and it was a 5-star job! This year I was a little disappointed because our deck was left with muddy water and footprints all over and some windows were not as clean as I expected. Should they have been squeegees rather than just washed? I thought that’s what you did last year. So, good enough but not the excellence we received last year.

Have always had a great experience with these guys. Try to use them to clean the gutters twice a year. Always come when scheduled. Always do a good job and clean up after themselves. Would recommend highly.

Shine showed up on time, got right to work even in the pouring rain. Had several clogged downspouts, broke them all free, cleaned up the mess, and had a great attitude. They were easy to schedule and did a fantastic job!

Shine did a fabulous job on our windows. Our guy even washed our big window three times to make sure there would be no streaks. We also had our deck power washed and it turned out great.

We had both decks, entire house, sidewalk, cement porch, all windows and the screens for a low price. Each job is different and priced accordingly, so I will not disclose what I paid, but it was $150 less than the competitors.They arrived on time and ready to work! I had green mold on the north side of the house that I thought would never come off....I was wrong.They offered quality work and they took great care in what they did. Luke, the crew leader was so polite and prior to leaving asked if we could do a walk around to make sure it was to my satisfaction. It was. I have already sent 3 referrals to them, based on how great my house looks. You wont be sorry if hire these guys.

My experience with Shine of Lansing was excellent. Responded almost immediately after being referred to us by Home Advisor. They set up an appointment with us for just two days after the call. That day was a horrible rainy, cold day but the young man who did the work came and did a great job. We called Shine to clean our gutters before all the leaves were down. Shine came out and by then some of the gutters were frozen. Shine cleaned what they could and then returned each week for several weeks until the gutters thawed and could be cleaned. Shine repeatedly came out without us having to call Shine. Shine billed us only after the work was done. We appreciate Shines diligence to complete the job.

My windows look great (there are many of them and some are very high up) and the screen cleaning service is very convenient. Arrived on time. Used protective booties in my house. The service tech didn’t know how to apply a coupon I had, but they simply invoiced me the next day with the coupon applied. Very happy and feel it was a very good value!

The two man crew arrived promptly, put equipment in place, attached the water supply to the power washer. Once the wash solution was ready one worker began washing the house while the other worker removed debris from the gutters. Once the gutters were emptied the remaining particles were washed down the downspouts. The process took about two hours and they advised that they had found an underground drain tile that was plugged. Happy with the service, employees and result.

If you are looking to have any work done at your home definitely call Shine. Dave was fantastic to work with and they gave my roof a shampoo that has made it look like new again. Algae and Moss can grow on your roof and decrease the life of your shingles. I didnt realize that the stains I was seeing on my roof was from algae and now my roof looks immaculate. The Shine crew was courteous, friendly and helpful you cant go wrong with using them.

The men who came to our house were very diligent and professional. I was working from home at the time and they were respectful of the noise level as they did the inside windows. They did not try to oversell. I expected to be charged for all of my screens, but Ty (one of the men) indicated that most of them would be easily handled with a free wipe down.
