Have used this business for over 20 yrs. They installed a new furnace and air conditioning and did excellent work. Have had some minor repair work done as well. Their current location is a store front only. There were no skilled repair or installation ppl to talk to. Service is by appointment at your hm. They no longer sell parts over the counter. Last AC repair was disappointing. Repair person arrived and went to AC unit outside. He diagnosed the problem and repaired it timely. But then he wanted to chk the furnace. I watched as he aggressively scraped the heat exchanger with a flat screw driver. It looked like he was trying to break a hole in the exchanger. Asked him to stop. He said was checking for corrosion. Appeared to me he was hoping to sell me a new furnace I did not need. He commented he had over 15 yrs experience. I wont use them again. Did not complain at the time. There is only a receptionist in their office. Very disappointing experience.

Just wanted to have my AC and Furnace systems checked out to ensure they were functioning properly. The scheduling process was easy and I got a couple of notifications leading up to the scheduled appointment as a reminder. The service tech gave me a call to let me know that he was heading over and was right on time. Service was quick, but also very thorough. Will definitely be using Applegate in the future.

We recently had a new furnace, AC and thermostat installed by Applegate. From our initial contact with Shawn, to the installation by Andy and his team, and the follow-up by the office team, we were very pleased with their excellent service and attention to detail. So far we are very happy with our Daikin system, and look forward to seeing how much energy dollars we are saving this summer and will save this winter.

I noticed dent in front panel, making them aware of this. No problem, we will replace front panel. The folks at Applegate are top-notch! I had a mysterious problem in my HVAC unit and they were able to diagnose and figure out the problem. It took them three trips, but they eventually found a rag stuffed into the air intake valve. No one is sure how it got there (previous homeowners? nefarious competitors? ghosts?) but each time they came out, they were courteous and true professionals. I was impressed with their intuition and sleuthing skills-- especially how they pieced together data from previous visits to narrow down the source of the mysterious problem! I would definitely recommend this business.

Overall were fairly happy with Applegate. We would give 5 star but are disappointed with the salesperson who oversold the system saying it would regulate our upstairs and downstairs better. It is the same. Ok upstairs and cold downstairs. But with covid its nice to know we have the light that cleans the air so am happy we have that.

After one visit from Applegate, our home is now comfortably heated and system is working great! We also understand our specific system and how it works so much better. So very grateful to them.

Applegate replaced/converted my oil furnace and old A/C unit to a new natural gas furnace and High-Efficient A/C unit. They did a great job with all the new piping, gas and PVC that had to be done. The runs were clean and not an eye sore. The job site was left clean and we had no issues. The crew was focused and professional. We are now enjoying our new gas furnace. Saying bye bye to the oil smell.

Jason came out to service our annual Furnace & A/C maintenance. He is professional and answers all of my questions. This is the 2nd year he came to our house. It is nice to have the same technician who remembered being at our house and being familiar with issues we had the year before. We followed his recommendation last year (we had a chipmunk problem with chewing wires) and they did not chew the wires this year. It was a good day!

Came for first maintenance after install of furnace and air conditioner. He helped me correct some issues found with thermostat and educated me in helpful way. Was prompt and courteous and did not push me to purchase something not needed.

Had Applegate out to our new house to inspect everything and they did an awesome job. Highly professional, very courteous. Since then they have helped me switch my dryer from gas to electrical, cleaned my ducts (came in under estimate) and I had them quote out some lighting in my office. I experienced some additional issues after a service call and inducer motor replacement.The emergency service technician, Dominic, was very polite and worked quickly to restore my heat. The company did stand by their work and after discussing my concerns with Todd, he worked to make things right.

Had a new furnace and air conditioning unit installed. Installers did a fantastic job. Completed the work fast, cleanly, and on time. The equipment works fantastic. I was so used to my old air conditioner that I had to learn to set my thermostat almost 4 degrees warmer. Air flow is greatly increased and the filtering has cut down the amount of dust by 300%. What a great experience! Applegate did a super job for us. My yearly service plan has worked perfectly. I get 2 visits a year, spring and fall, and I know that everything is is perfect working order. Brings a lot of peace of mind. I know my tech, Shaun, if keeping my equipment in tip top shape. Thanks.

My fiance and I bought an older house and needed to buy a new furnace. Applegate Home Comfort gave us excellent customer service at all points of contact (everyone I talked to was so helpful and customer oriented!) Ive been with Applegate for about 7 years now. When I first started using them, they were called Pyro. Not gonna lie...I miss the old name. But they are, regardless of name change, an AMAZING company! Ive never had a bad tech or a bad experience. Jon is my usual tech and he is great at what he does. Over all this company is dependable, affordable, knowledgeable, and everyones incredibly nice.

Despite an extremely annoying mistake by someone in their office, I want to improve my review now that the maintenance has been performed. Waylon, was the technician who came out to my house and he was very helpful and professional. He took the time to explain what he was doing and teach me about my geothermal system. I appreciate the great service!*************I moved and inherited the previous owners pre-paid maintenance plan for the geothermal system in our new house. After moving, I called Applegate to transfer the warranty and plan and schedule the free annual maintenance. They had to schedule it 5 weeks out. Obviously not a priority to them. I scheduled time off of work to be home, and had it on my calendar for weeks. Then I decided to call to confirm the day of the appointment and they claimed that they had no record or the transfer or appointment! So now I have to wait another two weeks for them to come out. Thats just inexcusable incompetence by their office workers! Dont schedule appointments and then forget them and waste your customers time!There was no attempt to make this right or to compensate me for the inconvenience. I just have to reschedule for their incompetence.

They sent us a card in the mail to service our furnace/a/c;. We called & got an appt for serviceman to come; had to change other plans for this appointment. Fifteen minutes before the service person was to arrive, their office called to say they did not service units they had not installed. . .since they knew they had not installed our a/c/furnace, why did they send us a card to ask for our business???

I called because our furnace quit working. I was very impressed with the courtesy I encountered with the person on the phone when I reported the problem. A technician arrived at my house within 15 minutes when I called. My furnace is older and likely will need to be retired soon, however, I appreciated the fact that the technician focused on the problem and didnt give me a sales pitch. He found the problem quickly and installed the thermostat timely. When it comes time to look for a new furnace/central air system, I will be using Applegate! Thank you for the excellent customer service and work done.

The worst!! Please stay away. Our home is having major issues now after using Applegate. Please find someone who actually cares about their customers and has decent licensed installers. These guys are fly-by-nights. Honestly they have no clue what they are doing. It is costing us more than few thousand dollars just trying to fix the problems. Ugh!!

Tech is professional and knowledgeable.

Our old furnace stopped working on a day with -30 temperatures. We called Applegate in the afternoon and had an after-hours worker to our house by 7pm. It took a few phone calls for him to find our snow-covered house and we really appreciated him not giving up on finding us! He was able to get the old furnace working again quickly, as well as give us a thorough review of its capabilities at this point. It was also very nice to get a follow-up call from management the following day, reviewing the status of the visit and letting us know our options if we continue to have trouble with the furnace. Their knowledgeable and courteous workers, prompt scheduling, and extremely reasonable service costs made this troubling situation much more manageable. We look forward to working with Applegate again when we need to finally replace the unit.

One of their drivers almost drove me off the road and was rude to me when i pulled over claiming it was my fault when he failed to use a turning signal and was clearly on his phone. Their customer service rep was rude to me when I called to inform them on the way their drivers drive. overall would never recommend after the way i was treated

First let me say that the equipment that was installed is of good quality, but the Management Staff are sorely lacking in issue resolution. I had a new top of the line variable speed motor furnace, A/C, whole Home Dehumidifier (summer), Whole Home Humidifier (winter), Plenum UV Light, and new Water Heater installed in May 2018.When the Techs installed the A/C equipment they installed the A/C Compressor in the wrong location, even though the Salesman had photos and was hand walked to the location to where it was to be placed. The Salesman either did not forward the info or gave wrong location to the Techs. Instead they placed it right outside my bedroom so I get to hear it every-time it turns on and off. In addition to installing it in the wrong location, they lost some of the housing screws to keep the housing from rattling while the fan is running. After a month of calling and complaining they finally came and installed the missing housing screws.When they wired the furnace to my service panel they knocked out some blanks to install new circuit breakers. They did not use all the spots they knocked out and failed to cover the open holes on my service panel, and they did not label the breakers they installed. One year later and after many calls the open spots are still not covered and the breakers are still not labeled. After giving them a year to make it right, I will cover the open blanks and label the breakers myself only because I cannot depend on Applegate to make it right.When they installed the Whole Home Humidifier they did not hook up the water line to the unit. I had to take time out of my day and wait for a Tech to come and hook up the unit properly.When the Thermostat was installed they did not program all of the features into it. I had to have a Tech come out twice to get the thermostat programmed correctly.Here it is a year later May 2019 and I called to get my Prepaid Yearly Maintenance scheduled and was told that they do not work on Saturday, even-though I was assured by their Salesman that Saturday appointments were no problem and Applegate would work with the Home Owners Schedule. I find now that the Salesman lied, and I will have to take time off work and lose money out of my pocket.I can abide a lot of things, but I cannot abide a Management Staff that deflects responsibility for their Techs and Salesmen.Before I post this review, I want to say that the equipment is good, but the after sale service is sorely lacking. If Applegate would reach out to their Customer and take the initiative on these issues without making me take time off work for their mistakes, it would go along way in reestablishing Good Customer Relations.
