After using Alpine on a recent ski trip, I could not imagine using any other ski shop. We had a group of 8 people, and I made sure everyone filled out the form online before our arrival. When we arrived to pick up our skis, they were well-prepared and had all of our gear ready for a speedy try-on. Leo helped us when we returned our gear and he was awesome. Keep up the good work!

First of all the staff is so kind and knowledgeable.They will spend as much time as needed to get you rigged up in the right gear.They always have cute stuff for sale.They have great prices and good deals.The fur baby was the best of course.I’m a lover of all babies.

We have been shopping and relying on Alpine Store to meet our families skiing needs for years. The ski tuning this year has been exceptional. The team has the amazing Montana rig and they know how to use it. I have had my skis tuned to perfection for the first time. In addition to the great tooling this year, the team has provided valuable insight into the process and expected result for the tune they provide. Great local ski shop with great staff. Madison was awesome getting my boot fitting done, love the new boots! They offer a cash back program on purchases and a custom insole for making your boots fit even better! They have apparel for men and women and some kids items, ski rentals and sell discounted passes to resorts.

The staff their is awesome. They know what to look for and help you find whatever you need. My wife and I bought our ski boots there and will be back to get our new skis soon; all because of the help that we received from Topher that helped fit us to our boots.

Alpine Sports repeatedly comes in clutch with whatever I need from them. Ive done last second rentals, and last second tune ups. Theyre only open seasonally and theyre the best place in Weber County to shop for alpine gear. Theyre a dying breed of common sense and educated employees. Id send anyone I care about to Alpine sports and send everyone else to Level 9 down the street.

I came to this shop for ski boots at the recommendation of a family member. I was very impressed with the technology they have that is able to pick the best boots for your feet. Madi was extremely friendly and helpful in explaining the process of sizing boots and went out of her way to make sure that I tried multiple boots before finding the best ones for me. I cant wait to try them out. The prices were fair and there was a broad range of inventory. Great place to go for all your skiing needs

Been an avid skier for 35 years & have traveled the country coast to coast skiing many of the best ski destinations the USA has to offer. Unfortunately the Ogden, UT area lacks any well ran or staffed ski shop & tuning service locations, Alpine Sports is no exception. Shop is seasonal, bad hours, lazy inattentive staff, and terribly overpriced. Cannot say anything much better for the on-site local Snowbasin ski resort shop or tuning services either. If you’re skiing in the Ogden, UT area you would be well advised to have all your gear & tuning done before coming to Ogden. Next best option is PLENTY of options for gear, rentals, and tuning services in Park City, UT (about 1 hour away).

Just finished a boot fitting with Jeff. The whole process was amazing. He walked me through every step as we moved along. The whole experience made me feel like I was fitting my boots from a shop at the base of the swiss alps. These people know what they are doing.

Always a wonderful shopping experience! For holiday shopping they wrapped our gifts and the family was really impressed with how well everything was presented. They have top-of-the-line gear, staff is very friendly and knowledgable.

Jeff is the best boot finder/fitter. I have stupid small feet but ski hard but Jeff was up to the challenge of finding me boots.

We went in there to get my husband fitted for new ski boots. They used their advanced foot scanner to make a 3D model of his feet to find the perfect boot. Using that data Topher took the time to bring him multiple boots to try on. Once we settled on the perfect boot, he also quickly made the minor adjustments to ensure a perfect fit. Outstanding customer service from Topher.

I took my kids in to get ski rentals for the year. Tyler greeted us and got my kids hooked up with the needed equipment. He was kind and patient and remembered my kids names. Awesome guy. We will definitely being going back to Alpine for any ski needs.

The staff in the repair shop were very friendly and nice, but the quality of their work was poor. I brought in 2 boards for a complete tune and one of my boards needed epoxy and to be repaired. The first board I had done looked overall okay, but not good enough for my standards and for the price. The second boards epoxy repair looked terrible and it looked like they rushed it. At first both boards were supposed to be done the following Friday from when I dropped them off. The first one was done but they hadn’t even started on the second. I picked the second board up the next Monday.Update: My boards were retuned and now meet my standards. 4/5 stars for the sole fact that the owner took care of me and addressed my complaint. I do not recommend this shop nor will I be returning.

I got a boot fitting here and purchased some new skiis. Topher knew his stuff and I got fitted for some super comfy boots. Also, got some season rentals for my son.

I went in to see about buying new touring boots, as my current pair were unskiiable. The boots felt loose and uncontrolled, and two other bootfitters at different shops told me These boots are just like that, and suggested I get new ones. I should have gone to Alpine first. Instead of just selling me a new boot Alpines bootfitter asked if he could see them, sat me down and measured my foot to make sure it was the right boot, then fit me with some shims because he thought it might be a volume problem. Wow. That made all the difference, the same boots are now tight and super responsive. Goes to show that they know what theyre talking about and really care about what the customer needs. Thanks a lot guys, good to know we have such a great ski shop in the Ogden area.

The staff there are always professional and knowledgeable. They take the time to make sure you understand what you are getting and wont try to sell you things you dint really need. I thought i needed $160 custom ski boot inserts but they had me try out the normal $50 inserts and those worked fibe for me. Honest people making a difference and great reputation. I wont buy anywhere else.

Great service center. Great products. I’ve even scored good closeouts deals! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I can walk laps in the competitions stores without being spoken to or welcomed. I appreciate the Alpine Sports environment, customer service level, and culture. It is worth every penny. I won’t shop anywhere else in the Ogden area.

Tons of amazing priced outdoor gear. A lot of it seems to be last years model but that makes it so you can get it a lot cheaper. Ski, snowboard, bike, and camping is what I noticed. Give them a go! Super great people to work with.

Staying in Ogden used these guys for rentals to ski the area. While they weren’t very responsive on email they had all our equipment waiting ready when the shop opened. We came back with a few issues and to swap skis when the powder came down, nothing was an issue. 100% recommend and would use again.

Alpine sports is the best little ski shop around. Very professional, they want to make your skiing experience as awesome as possible. They are skiers and riders just like you. They dont just sell the gear, they use it too!

Boot geniuses.... Jeff has xray vision, and sold me great boots for a great price. He knew wed have to knock out in a couple of spots, because I have weird bones sticking out everywhere. And then spent the time mid-season to knock out one more sore spot. Amazing service and great prices.

I have been shopping here since 1963. They have always provided great service, advise and products. The staff has always been very personable and knowledgeable. The shop is excellent and does a great job of ski tuning...and I should know since I have tuned skis for many people including one Olympian silver medalist. Thanks for a great shop!

This is the go-to place to get rental equipment in Ogden. Colin provided exceptional service to me. My rentals were unfortunately taken by someone at the hill that we went to ski at. The person who took them by mistake was great and returned them to the ski shop. Colin was great with tracking me down and crediting my account once the skis were turned in - first class!

I called ahead to make sure they had the size ski boot I was looking for, and that they would be able to help me out that day. When I got to the store there was only one tech helping people so I stood in the ski boot area waiting for them to finish up with a fitting. Two more techs showed up but helped three different walkins, who arrived after me, first. At no point in the over 20 minutes I was in the store did a single person ask if I needed help with anything or even acknowledged I was there, in spite of making eye contact with every employee. At one point the person I am assuming was the manager came out, I made eye contact with him three different times. After being ignored and having other walk-ins helped in front of me I asked the manager if there were any other techs available. The manager in a pretty abrasive manner said no but you can go ahead and make an appointment. All I wanted was to try on a few boots, I wasnt looking to have a lot of help with the fitting, I wasnt even going to have them heat molded that day. I will not be back because of the rude manager, and the lack of communication. When I called ahead they should have had me make an appointment then rather than ignoring me and then asking if I wanted an appointment

I rented skis there in early March.. Skied Powder two days, then Snowbasin the next. Skis were stolen 2-3 minutes after I set them down to get a lift ticket.. Paid for what I thought was insurance and when I returned with the Snowbasin info from security, they said I owed $408.00.. They did NO follow-up with me or Snowbasin.. It seemed like they could of cared less what happened.. BEWARE....

We rented for 5. Myself, my wife and 3 kids. 3 kids were given equipment that fit. My wifes and my boots were too tight. We told them in store that they were too tight but they wouldnt give us bigger boots. They said they would loosen up. Ive skied enough times to know when a boot is too tight from the beginning. Tried to ski in them today but could barely do any runs because of incorrect fit. My feet were cramped the whole time and fell asleep before I even got my skiis on. I couldnt even enjoy the two runs I tried. So, basically a waste of a lift ticket, waste of money on bad fitting rental and ultimately a waste of my day. Same story for my wife although she forced a couple of more runs in. I really like Alpine but they really dropped the ball on this one and wasted a lot of my time and money. I wouldnt be so frustrated if I hadnt told them in store that my boots didnt fit. They fixed everything, thanks

Went into alpine on christmas eve and bought a jacket and pants for my wife. what a great assortment to choose from. very cool. my brother-in-law also scored a super cool wool coat for his wife. the sales people were so friendly and helpful and really went out of their way to make sure we had all the options and help we needed. also filled up with great stocking stuffers like cool thermal water bottles and organic lip balm. its nice to be able to go into a real store with awesome merchandise and very nice sales people who put the customers needs first. thank you.

Decent rental price. Wrongly fit my boot to ski which was corrected by the ski shop at PowMow. Upon ski return the guy inspected the return too much, i.e, it felt unfriendly. I had returned the equipment in perfect order.
