I am very unhappy with how I was treated. Caleb and Hiram wasted my time and had no urgency when it came to helping me.Story time:My wife and I sat down with Hiram looking to purchase a specific vehicle. We negotiated a price but did not sign any paper because my wife and I still wanted to talk about it. Hiram told us to let him know once we made a decision. That same evening we texted Hiram telling him we wanted to purchase the car and wanted to start with documents ASAP. He said that he could have his coworker, Caleb, start on it the following day.I waited until morning to call Caleb and he said he would take care of it later. Another day goes by and I still hear nothing so I call Hiram and he said they were still getting to it. This process repeats for TWO WEEKS of going back and forth between Hiram and Caleb until finally Hiram messages me saying that the car was sold the day after I came in.I can only imagine that the car was sold for a higher price than what we had originally negotiated, which is frustrating, but understandable. The part that I do not understand is why it took them two weeks to tell me the car was sold the day after I came in. It wasted my time and I feel those actions were very unprofessional.
I saw a listing for a truck and sent in a request for more information. Sydney from Young Subaru called me the next day as soon as they opened and said the truck was not yet available for a few days and that there were multiple people interested in it. I told her I was interested in it and she said she would call when it becomes available. She called me back a few days later when the truck came in, I went right over and looked at it.River Peterson helped me out and made sure all my questions and concerns were addressed and answered. Within an hour, he had me taken care of and the truck was mine. I would highly recommend Young Subaru, especially to military members, they are going to treat you right. When I am in the market for another vehicle, I will be going to Young Subaru in Ogden Utah.

Very disappointing experience. They want 1000 dollars NONE refundable to hold a car that they dont have in stock. The competition in SLC Mark Miller Subaru is only 500 down and fully refundable no questions asked. I was out of town and called to put the 1000 down over the phone. I was told that was ok by the salesman the day before. But when I called I was then told that a VIN was attached to the order and now the only way to hold it was to come in and do all the financing. I was out of town for 5 days so that wasnt possible. So I was told I would have to gamble and hope the car was still available after my trip. I informed Gage our salesman I would be home Tuesday and can come in and do the financing then. I recieved no phone call or any update on if it was still available. I called and the car was not avaliable any more. I guess this company is happy they sold the car anyways and that one sale is more important then having life long customers. I also called and spoke to the manager Johah and he could care less and basically said o well thats how it is. good luck good bye. Very poor customer service and communication. Im sure I will be purchasing many more cars in my life and NONE will be from a Young dealership.
Offered me 13,000 less for my trade than what another dealer has offered me.Even if there is more they can do after the initial offer I feel as a customer that they arent going to be fair. The staff was nice and polite however I feel that as a business they wont hesitate to take advantage of a customer.

I would give ZERO stars if I could. I bought a 2020 Subaru Outback XT - under pressure from them. I wanted the 2021. Nothing but problems with the vehicle from week one, and they have done NOTHING to help. They sold the car, and thats all they wanted to do, sell the lemon. Ive called repeatedly and spoke to all of the people they have asked me to an NOTHING. Just - do you want to BUY another car? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? STAY AWAY, THEY HAVE NOT BEEN HONEST WITH ME AND GIVEN ME THE RUN AROUND. THE ELECTRONICS ON THE CAR DONT WORK, AND NEVER HAVE. IT HAS A MIND OF ITS OWN, AND LOCKS ME OUT, BATTERY DEAD WEEK TWO FOR NO REASON, OTHER THAN THEY SOLD ME A LEMON. RUN, RUN, RUN AWAY FROM HERE!!!!
As usual, I left disappointed. Why do I always feel like Ive gotten the shaft when I leave this place?I didnt want a new rear window wiper blade so I expected to at least leave with the older one! But NOOO! If it had not been a rainy day, it would/might have taken days or even weeks to find out that I didnt have one! By then they would have claimed that they had replaced or left the old one on!I returned immediately and it was replaced. By then, I was in angry tears.I want a new company to deal with. This will definitely be the last Subaru I ever buy!
The gentleman Parker Lambert, in service, that checked me in was friendly and awesome or this would be one star. I was given an appointment for 10:15 am. Which i set 7 days ahead. When I set the appointment I was told it would only be a couple hours or Id have rescheduled. I waited 3 hours. Went back to Young to just get my keys to my house but everyone was in a meeting or at lunch so I couldnt even get my keys. So I waited another 40 minutes for their meeting to conclude. After all my waiting theyd not even started on my car so I got my keys, my car and left. The best part was the new dent inside my drivers side door. Not impressed and I still need my recall fixed
Kudos for same-day service to replace a leaking radiator while on a family road trip... We overheated the day before up near Garden City, and feel lucky to have made it to a dealership. Our service rep (Parker) and his team did a thorough check and got us rolling along safely by the end of the day. Sure, it was a long day waiting, but we were so grateful for the clean fix... Would have been a very different story if the problems occurred in a more remote area. Thx team!!
Great customer service. I went in for an oil change and was helped immediately. They do not do appointments unfortunately, so you may have a wait if you do the express service they offer. They have water and coffee while you wait. They do offer a vending machine for snacks if you got the munchies. The front desk associate was very friendly and helpful. Overall it was a great experience, I will continue to get my vehicle serviced here.
Caleb was excellent, he helped us get all set up with a new outback. He wasnt at all pushy and really helped us feel comfortable with our purchase. If you go into Young Suburu in Ogden definitely ask for Caleb!

Drew and his team were phenomenal. My Crosstrek broke down on the interstate last night on my way from Washington to Colorado; I had it towed to Young Subaru. I showed up at 7 AM this morning, not looking too good, and askedIf they’d be able to look at my car today. Drew came out to the car immediately, took stock of some fairly extensive engine damage-which included one part they needed to have shipped up from Salt Lake- and they had the car fixed and us on the road by late afternoon. It was also obvious that they fit us into a busy day that they already had scheduled. And did it all very pleasantly. Again, great folks.

Worst experience with customer service period. After being passed around to different salesmen and told someone would take care of us we should up and no one was there or aware of any appointment with us and they sold the vehicle right out from under us. That is understandable given the market but after moving our schedules around and bumping up and appointment so that we didnt lose out, the least they could have done was let us know before we came to the appointment ment and someone tried to bait and switch is to another car. He manager came out and explained that all of this was essentially our fault and we should have bought the first time we came in,, again understandable but my biggest complaint was lack of communication. The first salesman we worked with was great then it went downhill from there. Ive lived in Riverdale for 20+ years and never had a worse experience. There are tons of dealerships around here, for your own sake, dont waste your time with this one.
After speaking to multiple Subaru dealers; we purchased a new Forester from Young Subaru in Ogden. They offered the best pricing and after arriving, we me with Lance McNamara and the whole process was straight-forward and exactly as discussed. We could not have been happier with the experience. Lance was very knowledgeable about both Subaru and the Forester model.We have purchased many new cars and the buying process can be stressful at many dealerships and with many sales people. Our experience was so stress-free that I would not hesitate to recommend Lance and Young Subaru to others and will be looking to them for our future business. Lance called this morning to follow up to make sure we had safe travel home and to answer any questions we might have. Loved the Young Subaru buying process and Lance is definitely outstanding and top tier. (AND - we love our new Forester).
Went to Young Subaru and met Todd, who was outstanding throughout the entire car shopping process-- even when we didnt find anything we liked the first day. However, just because we initially left empty-handed, doesnt mean Todd stopped looking! He called us as soon as he saw the perfect vehicle for us with everything we were looking for. First off, my 2017 80,000 mile Subaru Crosstrek just broke down and needs an entire new engine, which all of these technicians said was very odd. But, Subaru wasn’t willing to help out much with the huge bill they gave me. Second, I was very disappointed with this dealership. It took them 2 weeks to get back to me about the car issues. My technician was nice; however, I ended up towing my car to another shop to get fixed because of pricing. I asked them to put all of the parts back in the trunk that they took apart. I’m just finding out that they didn’t include two crucial parts that my car needs to get fixed, and they had the nerve to ask me to drive an hour away to pick up the parts myself at the dealership even though they were the ones that forgot to include them. Now it will take even longer to get it fixed. I’m not impressed with their service to customers as well as their claim to have long lasting cars. They will no long have our service.

Went here for an oil change, and wow, I felt like I walked into a used car dealership!-Service person did a walk around of car looking for upsell items-Was asked about rotating tires, a service that at other locations is included, and was billed for here-Service person popped the hood, observed some corrosion on the battery and offered to have it cleaned...for $37! You can buy a battery terminal cleaner for $2, or use a wire brush!-Was quoted for synthetic oil when Subaru generally recommends synthetic blend under 100,000 miles, when I commented he said their system just labels it all as synthetic.-An oil change was $73!!! Save yourself the headache, go to LHM on Riverdale, get a threefer including oil changes, tire rotations and car wash for $90, rather than spending $90 for ONE oil change and rotation here, and not even getting a car wash out of it.I felt lied to and cheated, and will never be returning to any Young dealerships or service locations, even if theyre basically next door.

I’ve worked with Caleb Kimball, when buying two separate vehicles. He is attentive, efficient and a great listener. With the most recent purchase, he had vehicles picked out that he thought I’d like and I bought the first one he showed me. Best of all, I drove away with my new car in under two hours. Totally hassle-free.
We were hoping for a good experience but it just wasnt. It really boils down to bad communication that had us so frustrated when we bought a used vehicle here. The service department, sales staff, and the customer service had a hard time being on the same page. Several times Id reach out to the sales rep but then just end up calling the dealership directly. The sales reps we worked with made two promises to us that they did not deliver on. This has soured us towards young dealerships.

Went in for what should have been recalled repair wasnt told about the recall was charged $200.00 for a transmission fluid change that didnt work. Then told it would cost $4,000.00 for a new transmission. Found out 2 years later 4 years after the recall found the recall and got another subaru dealer to fix it for free. Putting in a bad review for bad service Priceless!
I was surprised how good Richie was. As soon as I arrived he popped off the hood and started working on my lower engine. He wasn’t afraid to work on the back and got my engine going better than before. I’ll be coming for Richie the next time my engine needs another lube job.
The service manager Lisa is one of the most unprofessional people Ive ever met.She was more concerned with me addressing a personal matter of hers relating to my place of employment than addressing my legitimate concerns with the workmanship and attention to detail of Young Subarus service department.I got my car serviced at Mike Shaw Subaru in Denver on a road trip just to avoid Young. When Im home (Ogden) I take my car to Mark Miller in Sandy, they are fantastic just far away.If you love your Subaru as much as I do dont think Young.

I went to Young group just looking at a vehicle, with no intention of buying. The sales and staff were so nice and convincing, I ended up buying a vehicle brand spanking new! They gave me a better deal than any other dealership in the entire state of Utah. I highly recommend that you go visit any Young dealership these guys are amazing and they go the extra mile for their customers!
I made an appointment for service 9 days in advanced. I promptly arrived on-time for my service appointment. I had provided a detailed description to the service manager over the phone when I made the appointment but upon arrival, my assigned service manager had no record of what my scheduled service visit was about so I had to reexplain the problem with my vehicle. I was informed their master machinic would be taking care of my vehicle and I informed the service manager that I would be waiting in their customer lounge while my vehicle was being worked on. An hour and 20 minutes went by without any update from the service manager so I decided to walk around the outer perimeter of the service garage to see if my vehicle was being worked on. I discovered it parked behind the service garage. I returned to the service manager desk and asked about my vehicle and told the service manager I discovered my vehicle parked out back. My hope was my vehicle had been serviced and they just had not gotten around to tell me my vehicle was done. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I basically sat in their customer lounge for almost an hour and a half thinking my vehicle was being service when instead it was sitting behind their service garage the whole time. My service manager apologized and gave me the lame excuse that they were short handed today. Why couldnt they have told me that when I arrived promptly on time for my scheduled appointment or even better yet call me before I drove 45 minutes to their service center. I basically told the service manager that this was not acceptable and that I expected better from this service department. At that point, I requested that they return my vehicle to me as I wasnt going to continue to waste my valuable time. They promptly gave me back my keys and made no effort to rectify the situation.
I dont think I could give this dealership enough credit! I have been dealing with a lot, due to being the one of the lucky ones that gets a lemon vehicle. 🙃 with saying that, Im beyond grateful I have gotten to work with some of the best people at this dealership! Caleb in sales, Christian & Parker in service, I couldnt have kept my cool without you guys! Caleb helped me get things figured out and get me into my new 2021 Ascent! Seriously. I went to Subaru for a recall and they provided me with a free video multipoint, I was surprised to find out that my car had been leaking oil from the last time I had it serviced at another shop but because of the free inspection I was able to get my Forester taken care of! Me and my wife had a problem about a year ago with being able to prove income. We had everything, we where told everything was okay and had the car for a month.Flash forward to today and I call with money down a trade and they ask if its for me or my wife. I asked why it mattered. The agent did not have a answer for me. I truly feel it is not okay to treat a customer or assume things with a potential life long customer.

They have a poor online details. I looked on google and they had not updated the time that they open. It( google)said they were open at 7 they open at 9. I would also say they need to update what they have available and unavailable. 15 of the cars that we were looking at we’re not even there. So I would say they are either baiting people with cats that are no longer available or they have poor online updates. I drove a long way for nothing. Good luck with keeping a good honest record. Particularly on advertising.
Went into Young Subaru last weekend on a whim and drove off with a new dream car! Kindred was fantastic to work with. He wasnt pushy at all and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable with everything. I expect this Forester to last me a good long time, but when I need a replacement Ill definitely be back!
If I could post a negative star on this site I would. The two times we have taken our car here it has taken 4 hours, and this is just for brakes, tires, and oil. The communication is horrendous. They let my husband sit for 2.5 hours before he finally asked the guy and they hadnt even started on his car. I hope subaru gives us a deal on this service because of the utter disregard for their customers but either way, we will never be coming back to this establishment.
Joey Kapp is an awesome tech and a sharp guy. He was able to address all questions with real knowledge. He didn’t just throw parts at my car he actually diagnosed the root of the problem. And he was honest. I will return to young because of joe.
Gary was Great and helped with our Forester
I originally went in right before closing and they were still willing to help with my damaged tire. I stayed nearly an hour and I think because of the lack of people working they tried to rush and things were missed. Because of that I suggest going in earlier or waiting until the next day.I noticed issues with the tire immediately after leaving but when I called after the weekend they were immediately willing to help. They replaced the tire for FREE and even loaned me a brand new Forester. I definitely plan to go back for servicing and any issues that may arise.
We finally found a mechanic we can trust!!! Joe Kapp is awesome and has so much knowledge to diagnose any problem.... thanks Joe for always doing such a good job..

Went in to buy wiper blade refills for my Subaru Accent. Bought a new Outback for my wife. It was very quick and easy with no sales pressure. Our salesman (Dakota) was very nice and accommodating. We felt the price was reasonable and a reasonable trade in allowance. The best car buying experience we have ever had.
