I brought my sons 2016 Hyundai Veloster to determine what the issue is with his brakes and a clicking noise when the steering wheel is turned to the left. Because the car was still under warranty, Doug did his best to get the dealership to cover it all. Unfortunately, the dealership was only going to cover to fix the clicking noise and the brakes were going to be our responsibility. Doug was extremely professional and personable. They finished my sons car within the same day. I was so happy with their service that I brought my Nissan Murano the next day to have it repaired. Amazing service! Ill only take our vehicles here from now on.

Cody is extremely dishonest and unethical. I would not trust him with my business. He sold us a camp trailer and did not disclose that it was full of mold and flood damage. He put my familys health at risk. Not only did he not disclose this damage he actually tried to cover it up. When confronted about the issue he claimed it was no longer his problem. Think twice before trusting him with your vehicles.

One morning my F150 would not stay started and then would not start at all. I had the truck towed to the dealership but they couldn’t diagnose the issue for over a week. The dealership then told me that depending on what was wrong, they wouldn’t be able to get parts to fix it for up to 6 months. I spoke to my extended warranty company and they recommended Cody’s Auto in Ogden. I then had my truck towed there however before the tow driver could get it the had a difficult time finding as the dealership lost my truck for over 30 minutes. They finally found my truck after I gave them the location I had seen my truck and license plate number. I communicated what was going on with Doug from Cody’s. He was awesome and answered all my questions. Doug made sure he notified me when my truck arrived and explained to me what he planned to do and when he would notify me. Doug was true to his word and kept me informed throughout the whole time. He used appropriate humor to help me when I was upset. Doug kept his word and finished diagnosing and fixed my truck on time. I would highly recommend Cody’s Auto and I have. Cody texted to make sure everything was okay after I picked my truck and then again after a month to make sure everything was still okay.

Doug and Cody are very polite and professional. Cody sold me a 2014 RAV4 and I love it! I have had no issues with it! I would recommend Cody’s auto to anyone looking to buy a car or someone needing repairs! Will definitely use again!

The air conditioning stopped working in my car. Doug helped me get an appointment to get it fixed in such a timely manner, I was so thankful! They fixed everything in a short amount of time and my air conditioning has been working perfect since. I now plan on bringing both my vehicle to Cody’s for any future work.

Codys auto is a very honest and friendly shop. The couple times Ive taken my truck to them they diagnosed and fixed the issue in a very open and transparent way with me. The work they have done seems to be very good and after getting my truck back after 5 weeks it runs like a champ. They do normally work very quickly but Doug was very open with me and honest about losing a tech which explains the time frame of keeping my vehicle. Other than that no complaints from me. Great shop. Great service. Great experience. Would definitely recommend as your go to mechanic!

I had a issue with my Jeep on Wednesday, they checked the engine light and said it was an injector. I was leaving town on Friday afternoon but they said to drop it off on Thursday afternoon and they would get it fixed. They called me Friday morning and said it was done. By surprise they stayed late on Thursday to get it done and drove it around Friday morning to make sure no issues before my road trip. The Jeep ran great the whole trip, no issues. Cody, Doug and the rest of the team are great guys and they take care of your vehicle like it was their own. I highly recommend Codys for all your vehicle repairs.

Doug at the service desk makes you feel comfortable leaving your vehicle, the technicians found the issues quickly and I was always kept in the loop. When something came up the called and verified that moving forward was what I wanted and always have a cost upfront so there was no surprises. I always feel great and confident when leaving with my vehicle knowing the repairs are done right!

Doug is such a boss! Ive saved so much time and grief and money by coming to this shop over the years. Ive stopped price checking other shops. I wont go anywhere else unless Doug says so. And hes the type of guy that will be honest and say so if its not in his ballpark. He wont screw you over and he wont tell any white lies.

Me and my brother were driving our two trucks from Utah County to Willard to go paint a customers house on Monday. My truck broke down on the way there right after ogden, turns out something locked up and blew a hole straight through the transfer case. We didn’t know what to do because both of our trucks were carrying equipment needed to perform the job, so we called in a tow truck and he took us to Codys. Once we got to Cody’s we told Doug we would need it by Thursday in order to haul everything back home. Doug was very helpful and did a great job communicating the cost and the estimated time it would take to repair. We finished the paint job on Thursday and sure enough Cody’s had already fixed our truck and we were able to pick it up and haul all of our equipment back the same day. Truck runs great and we couldn’t be more happy with the service.

Once the issue was diagnosed, they let me know what it was, what it would take and the time it would take to fix it and the cost. They nailed it totally. There were no surprises. I love this place and for as long as I live in this area, I will give them as much business as I can (which isn’t hard, considering my POS Buick). They had me leave it overnight at one point and were able to get it through emissions for me. Cody and Doug have helped me out so much this year - from my car misfiring to that check engine light reappearing like Jesus after three days (however mine was more frequent, not a one time thing) this place has saved me money, time and from mental breakdowns. Two days ago, I went to start my CR-V, but was unable to start, I gave these guys a call because I was recommended by a friend of mine, they were able to get it towed over and diagnosed it as soon as it arrived. They diagnosed a fuel pump, and by the next afternoon I got a call notifying me it was done, I was tight on money due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, but they were willing to help me out on prices. Recommend these guys for their fast, quality, and great customer service, the service writer Doug was able to help me through it all, would recommend in a heart beat.

Stopped in without an appointment, they were very busy, but the owner had a technician come out to diagnose the issue with my car, I will be back, great service.

These guys replaced the transmission in my 1994 Chevy G20, and also did some work on the power train and windows. Its been super solid, and it was a great price. Only docking a star because their ability to estimate a timeline for completing the work is haphazard. Other than that, these guys rock.

Had these guys replace the water pump on my 07 Buick and they were great about it. Even though i was late to my appointment their mechanic stayed later than usual to finish up the job and get my car back to me that night. Great honest service! I have had my share of bad experiences with car repairs. Codys Auto was recommended to me and the experience was great. Getting in for a diagnosis was no problem at all. Doug explained all the codes my vehicle was showing and told me which ones were legitimate and was up front with repair costs. I will happily be back for future automotive needs.

Cody is an awesome business man. He had replaced my timing belt for my acura. He did it for the cheapest in town. The parts went bad a little over a year later. 2 months after the warranty had expired. Cody went after the parts company for new parts and saved me hundreds of dollars by just charging me labor. He had to do a whole timing belt exchange again. Ive been going there for 2 1/2 years. Ive never had a problem and if I did cody was always right there to do what he could to help fix it. Ive also bought tires from him at a excellent deal. He is a true business man that takes care of his clients and takes other peoples wallet to heart. I started going to Codys in March. So far they have been very trustworthy, the work quality is good, and the prices are fair. This is my go-to mechanic place. I recommend this repair shop! (The only thing I would note is that you need to make an appointment for an oil change because theyre a small shop; so just keep that in mind and plan ahead)

Best experience I went in for a work up on my car and they had the best prices and service very sweet and helpful I called other places and they told me my car wouldn’t be ready for a couple of days and they got it done the same day because they knew I had work later in the day I really loved their hard work! I will be going with them from now on!
