We have been here since 1 pm. We were behind 1 truck with another car in other lane. It is 2:20 pm and we are still waiting to have oil changed. This place advertises that you wont wait long, not anymore in West Texas. Well, they managed to make it the longest Ive had to experience. Thanks for making an easy oil change miserably long and frustrating. It took 30 minutes to change the oil. 30 minutes. This place lacks any kind of get up and go. So lackadaisical. Please if you can avoid this place you should.

Went in for state inspection. Took forever. I went in again and asked why it had already taken over 30 minutes when they already told me I’d be done in fifteen. He was clearly irritated. When they finally came back out about twenty minutes later I went inside and a couple of minutes later he came in and said I have an issue. The little hairline crack in my Tacoma taillight wouldn’t let him pass the truck because water could get in he said. I told him that it’s been there for years and not even condensation has got in and it’s always passed inspection like that before. I just wasted my time there because I pointed out they mislead me about the wait time. I went down the road and got my inspection fine.

Absolutely incredible. Their kindness, engagement, and honesty have surpassed any other oil service I’ve had. I will be a customer for life!

Called for a price quote. Informed that traditional oil change ~$50 and synthetic ~$70. Oil change and tire rotation was completed very quickly, which i appreciate, but the oil change price was just for the oil change itself and did not include the oil. Now why would it cost more to put a different type of oil in the engine of a vehicle? The oil itself cost $40 and the tire rotation $20. $130 for an oil change and tire rotation. I think it is dishonest pricing to charge more for the oil and more for the synthetic oil change. This is the most expensive oil change I have ever seen and I have traveled all over the country and had my oil changed in other states. I will not go back to this place.

I went to the location on 191 and had HORRIBLE service the technician just stood around talking while the manager that had glasses just stood there to talk to his employees. I overheard them talking badly about customers when extra services were needed.. I left and had a few complaints. I called the number on my reciept and some how was transferred to the location on 8th st. The nice lady I believe to be name mystica was very nice and helpful. Although I did not go to the 8th st location she made sure to help me so that I didn’t not have to speak to anyone at the other location. I was very satisfied. When I went to have my light checked out she did her best to re assure me code was cleared and it was just the sensor to the air filter. I will never be returning to 191. If you want great service I recommend you go to the location on 8th. Trust me no matter how fancy the other one looks bad services ruins it. Will no longer be using them unless I can get in the 8th st location. Thank you to the wonderful people at that location you will have my business for now on.

The most seamless experience ever. All the staff was friendly and obviously knowledgeable. Sat in my car the whole time. They did a thorough inspection but still asked my consent before they changed/replaced anything. Very satisfied with the visit.

I went to get my oil changed on the 12 of September 2020 I normally do my own services but was unable to go home this weekend to do it. Service was good but when I checked the work they did I discovered that they put the wrong oil filter on my truck it takes a motorcraft FL 820S they put a FL 500S which is a smaller diameter and has a lower flow rating, I contacted the manager in charge and she said thats what we always use well I informed her they are wrong and that is not the correct oil filter for a 6.2 Ford. So I will be contacting management at Sewell ford which is who owns this business Monday morning to have them do the job correct.

Went here for my state inspection, decided to have my oil changed, bad decision..... Way over priced for a simple oil change and filter. Wal-Mart is much cheaper and your vehicle is vacuumed out.

All of the folks here are always very professional! I would not and do not bring my vehicle anywhere else!

I’ve never have to wait all that long, even when there’s several in front of me. They always ask about my filters BEFORE the change them. I like that they’re not “pushy”. And for this area, they are priced decently.

Too my car here for a state inspection. They told me my parking brake didnt work so they failed my car. They told me to take it to Firestone down the street get it fixed and they would pass my car. After them having my car there from 2pm to 6pm they finally inspected my brakes and told me nothing was wrong. They said the techs at Great Texas Oil Change did not push them down hard enough. Of course by this time Great Texas was closed and they conveniently are not open on Sundays. So I wasted 5 hours of my day. Thanks for nothing

The absolute worst oil change that I’ve ever had! No organization whatsoever! I’m in line waiting praying for a decent job! Will wait the 25 minutes next time at Take 5!

Do not go here for an inspection unless you have hours to sit around and watch the techs be on their phone and chit chat all morning. The communication is horrible and the girls up front need to be trained better. I normally get oil changes here and will never go back!

I called the Service Department at Sewell Ford on Friday to schedule an oil change for my leased vehicle. I’m new to the area, so first time getting an oil change out here. I asked the woman on the phone if I could make an appointment to get “The Works” package done. She informed me that the service department didn’t take appointments for oil changes, they did them in a separate building, first come, first served. Ok, no problem. I went this morning, pulled up, they were very nice, took my information, showed me the waiting room. No one corrected me at any point though when I asked for “The Works” package, which Sewell lists as a package they offer. A man comes out a while later and tells me my filters are fine and asks what kind of oil I want. No one has ever asked me that before anytime I’ve gotten an oil change, so I just told him whatever comes standard with “The Works”. He says ok, says it will be 15 more minutes, and walks out. About 30 minutes later, the girl at the counter calls me up to pay. IT’S $75!!! I move a lot for work, so I’ve had my various fords serviced at 6 other dealerships in 4 different states, it’s not supposed to be $75 in any universe. I was a little shocked, but ok, write it off the unspoken West Texas tax, it’s just more because it’s Odessa and can be, never ceases to fail. I ask for the inspection report which is standard to receive from Ford anytime they do “The Works”. She informed me that technically they’re not Ford and they don’t do “The Works”. Y’all, I couldn’t have stated what I wanted to more people, at all different stages of the process, nor could I have stated it more clearly. How did I get past that many people and tell them all the same thing and have no one correct me unless they were being purposely deceptive and conducting business very unethically? My father is a Ford dealer in another region of the country and when I told him about it, even his advice was that if a Ford dealership won’t provide Ford service, save the money and go to Jiffy Lube next time! The service here was not worth paying 150% of the standard price to not receive what I repeatedly asked for. I’ve heard many amazing things about Sewell Ford, but when my car lease comes up in September, I guess I’ll need to go to El Paso or Austin to buy a new vehicle, I don’t knowingly support crooks.

I never expect quality service when I go anywhere in Midland really... This place, however.. wow... They had said on numerous occasions they had never seen a truck like mine before (2015 Dodge EcoDiesel). The guy threw my air filter in the trash after he TOLD me he might have one. 20 minutes later he comes to me, and offers to go to ORileys and get one, but iI wasn very convinced he wanted to when he came to me a second time to talk about it.. then come to find out that they charged me $170 to change the oil and my windshield wiper fluid was a little low nothing else... Insane. Wouldve happily paid whatever someone asked if I wouldve gone to someone a little more competent. Honestly the Walmart lube center wouldve been better. At least they can walk into the store when they dont have the things they threw in the trash.

Every time I need to change the oil or to get the sticker on the trucks I like to come with them because they have a great service.

Horrible service rude employees

Slow....Stared out 8:39 am Waited in line for awhile. Decided to go in and ask about getting an inspection. There were severely employees standing around I had to ask if they worked there and they said yes I ask if I can give them my info to get an inspection done and was told Erin would come out and take my information after a few minutes she did and was very nice however I ask how long she said 45 minutes. I replied for an inspection and she said yes there were 4 oil changes in front of me. She said it was based on a first come first serve basis. With employees standing around and 3 bays there should not be a 45min wait for an inspection. The actual wait time is now 9:57 and were done

TerribleTechs have what seems to be no training or common sense-have 10 ply tires on my truck that run 80 psi which they deflated to 40-their excuse they go by the door sticker (which said 36 psi so they would have overinflated them)or ask the customer (which they didnt do)then couldnt get my oil change light off (which when they turned off the key my security light would flash as it always does so they tried t say I probably had a problem with my ecm-no I said its just a problem with yall)after several tries it was off but when I went back 30 min later t get my tires PROPERLY REINFLATED I told them that my coolant resivoir hadnt been topped off and was told they dont carry coolant for my 2002 Chevy mostly just for fords so if they check it(which the receipt said they did and it was OK)but its low they cant put any in anyway so thats a lie. People have nothing but excuses and poor ones at that I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP TO ANYONE FOR ANYTHING and my co truck will no longer go their either-say goodbye to a nice piece of change people

Wow great people and friendly. I went to get my Tahoe inspected and lost my gas cap they replaced a windshield wiper . They went to the auto part store foe me and replaced my gas cap, replaced my wiper, and I had only brought 30.00 in cash so they added everything up for me to make sure I had enough thats awsone . Great friendly people who go the extra mile . Awsone awsome.!!!!!

Horrible place. They cannot get the bolt off of my tires. Therfore they couldnt rotate my tires. Took my vehicle to discount tire down the street. Rotation done.
