Many People rent tools so they can complete a job w/out the added expense of having to buy the tool...same applies for a quick fix around the house.

I brought a lawnmower in for repair in the middle of March and it is now the end of July. You cant call to check the status or even approve the repair because they dont answer their phone. I finally receive a call that it is ready and arrive to find it in pieces. After putting it back together the mower would not start. A helpful man said he would work all night to repair it and they would call me the next day. Two days later no call so I show up to check on things. They said they were awaiting my approval for a part, but that they had not actually called to get the approval. Home Depot tool repair services is an absolute clown show. I paid a labor charge and got nothing in return because Im not going to leave the mower here for another four months not knowing what is going on.

Excellent equipment and service.

I called to see if they had equipment I needed to rent but the information did not list rental and when I called the other departments one hung up on me and all the other departments would not answer the phone not even customer service.

I cant even get them to answer the phone.

Even though the selection of tools is good, and their prices are very competitive, I am usually disappointed with the service. If your time has any value then this is not a good place to rent tools.

Never had a problem before today. Went in to rent a Jack hammer and had an employee yelling at us and threatening to call the police in the parking lot. All bec our truck was parked in the wrong area. I thought it could have been handling in a more professional manner.

Do not rent tools from them. If you bring the tool one hr before due time they go ahead and charge you a late fee. They told me I should of read the contract better. Never going there again.

About 99% sure they dont service the tools before sending them back out and when they do its half assed.

I rented a sewer snake over there and dropped off to my helpers they spent afternoon trying to break loose the end tools. The bolt was rusted on and would not release. Waisted 200.dollars in manpower due to their lack of details on there equipment. Be sure u check it out before u leave, as it may or may not work.
