Got to work, saw the low pressure warning, hopped back in the truck and nervously drove to Discount Tires. In an hour (they were really busy) the nail was removed, the tire patched, and I was back at work. I love this place! They are always courteous and honest and fast!

Unbelievably experience! Right rear tire had two screws in it. Drive it in, walked to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings and they texted me to let me know the tire was repaired and ready to go. No charge....who died that anymore? They did!They earned my continued service that day!!!

Staff was friendly and accommodating. They acknowledged me as soon as I walked in. I had to leave and come back due to my having an appointment, and they remembered me and what I was there for when I came back. Everyone had a great attitude. I was delighted at hearing the guys in the back (installing tires) singing and having a good time while doing their work. Even though these guys were having a good time, I watched them all working hard and quickly as possible.

This is my first time shopping at this place. I loved the service, definitely will shop their again. Very friendly staff.

Went in cuz my car light went on low tire pressure . The young man checks the tire pressure and tells me Mam you have a screw in your back tire. Thats the reason why your light came on if you like we can get it fixed for you.... went in and had it fixed in 40 minutes at no charge....free...free... free!!Love these guys!

My husband bought a setof tires and the guy he spoke to said that they would be there for his 11:30 am appointment. They werent there. The guys at the store gave my husband a higher priced set for what he had already paid.The reason for the 4 stars is because the warehouse had a week to ship the tires to the store and didnt.

Explain to me how you can order aftermarket market tires from Discount tire and when you get there to mount the tires on my new rims they tell you its not safe and the load rating is to close. Other places will mount them for you, bye. the load rating wasnt under. But close? Dont sell something you wont install.

Ordered a tire and made an appointment Saturday for the following Wednesday to get it put on my car. Had left my original tire there. When I show up for my appointment I get told that I dont have one. The person that helped me did not make the appointment like I was told he did. Glad the guy that was helping me today could help fix the situation. Everyone makes mistakes but I even called to confirm with them yesterday and they had told me my appointment was good.

Little bit of a wait but well worth it. I have been to Discount Tire and Americas Tire coast to coast.

This store needs to learn about customer service. You stand in line forever and when you get to the counter you are talking to the sales person and then they stop and answer the phone and stay on it for more than 15 minutes. They need a call center for someone to handle the incoming calls and let the people inside deal with customers and not be rude by cutting you off and and talking on the phone when you have been waiting on them forever.

Customer Service was wonderful and pleasant. They made me feel like I was the only customer there. But the wait time was a tad bit longer than desired from speaking to someone all the way to picking up your vehicle when its done.

Excellent service! We had a blow out on a trailer tire and a big chunk out of other (separate) trailer tire on the same trip. We werent having good luck to say the least. The guys fixed both tires, swapped rims and got our spares done QUICK shortly before closing time. They even drove to another store to make sure we had the tires we needed! Awesome experience other than the wait time in line to be helped. However, there just werent enough employees to go around; they were all working. I needed a locking lug nut set to replace my broken lug nut key but that wasnt factory. They set me up for free!

Used to like this place. As of 3 months ago in texas there are no plandemic restrictions. Ironically a few months ago when i came i waited inside. Now we check in and have to wait in our vehicles like some we have leoprosy. They dont mind taking our money though.

They had me waiting a while, but once they got to me they got me out in no time.

Dropped off four trailer tires to get premium Carlyle tires installed. New tires were good but all four valve stem caps were missing, I didnt notice till I got back to the shop 20 miles away.Yeah they might only cost $0.50 a piece but my time is valuable and had to make a separate trip to napa just to buy new valve stem caps. Sorry but the little things like valve stem caps should not be overlooked especially since all four tires had then when I dropped them off. I will not return to this Discount Tire.

Completely disappointed that they needed to lie to me about my tire. I came in to get a tire fixed, and they told me that my steel belt on my tire will rust out and Ill have a tire failure. Ive worked in the tire industry for almost 5 years, and have many friends in the tire business. The excuse they gave me is one of the stupidest things Ive ever heard.

Made appt at 9am. It’s 10:15 and still waiting. Called and put on hold. Never came back on line. Still in parking lot waiting. Finally left and came home. Will try another place

But over the 15 years now I have been coming in there if it wasnt for Kai, who i trust to not damage my show cars and always is the first to step up and ask if anyone needs help and gets your work done safely, and quickly. Waited a bay for a few minutes then backed up into a spot to ask about service when i was cut in line( 3 times)and not once was helped offered. Ill be going to a different Discount Tire

2 month old tires. One gone flat already. At shop it is chaos in lobby. Guy I spoke to unhelpful; obviously doesnt care. Wound up with a number of people who arrived after me being put ahead of me in line for getting my car in garage. They have good sized lobby but will only put 3 chairs in there. I asked for one of the chairs outside to be brought inside for me because I have a bum leg and it is painful for me to stand in place. I was told no. Social distancing had to be observed. But this big lobby had 3 chairs in use then a bunch of people (at least 10) standing round in it waiting. I couldnt have a chair because social distancing was so important. People were social distancing, there was plenty of room in there, but were forced to do it standing for over an hour. Waited 1.5 hours outside in the heat. Poorly managed operation.One last thing is Discount Tire is the name and with the shopping around I did they do have pretty good pricing on tires. But, they charge more for mounting, balancing and installation than other shops. So, in the end you are not saving $$ shopping here. They only fool you into thinking you are.

Had an appointment. Was running a bit late because of traffic. I arrived and had my truck in a bay in less than 10 minutes. These guys are great, attentive and nice. And their tires are reasonably priced!!

Bought a new set of tires in July tire kept going low left off center cap, lost the lock nut on my truck. If course I haveto buy a whole new set. Needless to say I wont buy another set of tires from them I will pay the extra and go somewhere else their customer service sucks

I wasnt here, Google is tripping. If you need tires go to PEERLESS TIRE on Andrews hwy across from sonic. Not only will he sell you tires(theyll all hop though hoops for sales)But mark the manager and his crew will treat a warranty flat fix with the same gusto as making a sale on a new set of six on a dually truck. Good guy at peerless, discount can suck it!!

This place has the worst service ever! Super slow! No one communicates with each other so no one knows what is going on. The kids working there are more Into the music and dancing than getting your tires serviced. Back for a second day in a row for a nail in a tire they can’t seem to fix!!

They put a new tire on the vehicle rather quickly, said it would be a hour and a half wait time, but 15 minutes later, came out to the car and told us to pull into bay 6 and they change the tire was a great experience

The wait was kinda long, but the employees were all working so it wasnt anything they could help. The check in here with a pointing arrow sign is confusing. Do we sit there in our car and someone comes out, or go in to check in? I came in to ask about replacing my locking lug nuts with a different set of locking nuts that was not factory. They got me a set for free!

All of this while multiple customers are having to sit in their vehicles in the bay due to Covid-19 and able to see and hear it all. The employee hasnt been corrected or anything said to them. Extreme lack of management. Original post: Im not sure why I come here still.... Every experience at a Discount Tire in the last 7 years has been poor and with some type of issue. The common factor is having to wait in the vehicle to be seen (due to Covid-19) for over half an hour even when I arrive early for my scheduled appointment. I always get to sit here and watch multiple customers come and go even though I was here first and had an appointment. The longest wait Ive had with an appointment has been 2.5 hours after my appointment time, that was they forgot about me and my vehicle had been ready for 2 hours. Its getting better though with only having to wait 45 minutes with an appointment today. Perhaps its because Im getting tired of it and stay on top of them. Management is a joke at these locations and Ive been to 3 different locations in 2 different states in the last 4 months for multiple vehicles. Typically this particular location has a 3-4 hour wait to even get into a bay. This alone should tell the company that something needs to be done, but its been this way for 8 years now. In fact Im sitting in my truck right now typing this in the bay for 25 minutes waiting for them to start working on my tires. Theyve already pulled in 2 other vehicles and started working on them even though I was here first with an appointment from 45 minutes ago. If I didnt purchase warranty for these tires I bought here 3 months ago, I wouldnt be back here today. Sad and poorly ran business.

I was a little concerned at first because I had to make an appointment for two days later as they were so busy. However I got there about 10 minutes before my appointment waited in line for about 15 minutes and when it was my turn in line the German checking me and was very pleasant and told me that seeing as how I had an appointment it would take about an hour I was actually there only for about 25 minutes at best after that. Very nice and professional and fast !!!

Had 4 tires installed a couple weeks back. One of the best experience I’ve had outside a dealer (although that may not be saying much). It’s clean, new, and modern. Customer service was top notch. They recognized my vehicle as I pulled into the parking lot and came out to my car. My car was in and on the lift before I even left the shop to drop it off. Great experience and recommend to anyone.

I was told to wait in my truck okay no problem then after 45 minutes this guy comes out ask me what i need and i say tire rotation and balance he checks all my tread depth then comes to me and says okay it will be about three hours before we can get to you. And im like why didnt you just say that there was a 3 hour wait when i got here. But they let me sit in my truck for 45 minutes to tell me this

Usually crowded all day every day but for good reason.The prices on tires are pretty average but you cant beat the warranties.They also give you free rotations and balancing with the purchase as your tires wear and thats pretty sweet.The staff treats their customers well and are knowledgeable about what they do.

This place is pretty good as far as chains go and if you get the warranty on the tires if you break down somewhere chances are there is a discount close to you!

Everyone here is great! Went in with no appointment and it took about 2 hours, but Im not complaining. They are always busy because they are good at what they do. Highly recommend you go here instead of a random place.

The Discount team in Odessa hit a home run. I recently ran in to tire issues on my motorhome in Van Horn Texas. I was forced to over pay for off brand front tires at a small local shop. Safely back on the road I decided to stop at the Discount in Odessa to have the four rear tires replaced. Ramon initially helped me. He got me checked in and set up with tires. While waiting I called Michelin and opened a warranty ticket. I passed this info on to Ramon. Jalen and Rafael completed the tire swap. They were very professional in everything they did. Every precaution was taken to ensure the safety of themselves as well as my vehicle. Ramon tried calling the manufacturer but unfortunately they had closed. He assured me they would handle the warranty the following day. My family and I were safely back on the road. The following day Kye with Odessa Discount called with a status update. The manufacturer was honoring a partial credit on the tires. Kye had set it up where I could in fact remove the off brand front tires and have Michelin’s installed to match the rears and still receive a $200.00 dollar credit. Kye worked diligently to coordinate this from start to finish. Multiple phone calls over multiple days. You could tell he had pride in his job by the way he handled this situation. Thanks to him and the other team members I have 6 brand new tires I can depend on as well as the credit I was owed. This is why I only use discount tire. From start to finish the Odessa team hit a home run.

Had a knot on the inside of my front passenger side tire ended up paying $245 for one tire, but the customer service and warranty was worth it.

Slammed 1 to 2 hour wait to get done

Brought my car here to get new tires (first time here) the young man who helped me was very nice and informative. I brought my car at 10, they told me my car would be done at 1:30 or the max 2:00. I leave and come back after 2, the manager Roman tells me that my car has not even been brought in. Telling me my car will be ready at 2, when they haven’t even started.

I went to have my tires rotated and balanced, I purchase all my tires there. This kid proceeded to tell there not doing rotations and balancing at this time. Thats after I called him and spoke to him over the phone. I proceeded to tell the young dude, I would no longer to business with this company nor would none of my entire family.I done with this company.Went down the road to another company problem solved

Waited for 10 minutes to even be acknowledged with 3 people standing at the counter ridiculous. The. When I was there was no hi,hello or anything just a quick “what are you looking for” I told them the tire size and they said “we would have to order it” I asked how long the response was some time next week. It is still early so I don’t see why it would take that long for a tire to come in. Just a flagrant disregard of any simple customer service. First and last time coming here.

My tire started going flat unexpectedly and I realized It was close to closing at Discount, but they still got me in quickly and taken care of. They were very polite courteous and helpful with this bad situation. I will definitely be returning and sending all others in need that way. Thank yall again so very much for your amazing service! Yall definitely brightened my bad situation.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I do not recommend this tire shop to anyone. The employees did not follow correct procedure and tightened my lug nuts to the point that I was not able to remove them and they all snapped off. They also did not take down any of my information from my previous visit so I am now left with a huge towing bill, and will have to pay for a new wheel and tire. They were not willing to help or take responsibility for their actions. We will no longer be conducting business with Discount. I am extremely disappointed with this place and their lack of customer service.

Beware challenger drivers! So the front office people were very nice but the actual technician who changed my tires are not very knowledgeable. I drive a 2014 challenger and these cars have a plastic trim at the bottom. Well I went in for 4 new tires and when they went to put my car on their lift, it was bending the plastic trim inward and they werent going to stop until we saw and said something to them. They had to use individual jacks in order to not damage the trim but they seemed bothered by the extra work since they were busy. So if your car is like mine then you better go to the bay area and watch them, oh and they also scratched one of my black rims, a half circle big.

Had three tires to be replaced and they had me on my way in a less than the estimated time quoted. They were very courteous and professional.
