Tony was amazing to work with. He got to know myself and my first dog, Hammer, to find the best fit for us. He takes the time to get to know the dogs that come into his care, and shares all that information with you so you can make the best decision possible. Visiting Annabelle Acres was one of the best experiences I‘ve had. Hammer and I have now had Maggie in our home for almost a month, and it couldn’t have been a smoother transition and better fit.

Tony and his rescue are absolutely incredible. He is so genuine and personable. He helps you find the absolute perfect fit for your family, while treating you as family or friends youve known your whole life. I cannot praise Tony or his rescue enough. If you want a rescue lab, this is the place to go.

This is a wonderful rescue. Tony and his family are very professional and truly care about the dogs they rescue and making sure they are a good fit with their adopters. Great communication and organization throughout the whole process - highly recommend. We are very excited to welcome Papi into our home.

From the moment of the 1st phone conversation we first connected with Tony (Annabelle Acres), whos reassuring voice, our search for our furever partner, Charlie (a Chocolate Labrador) aka Charlie Brown  reached a destination point.  Each visit we came out to spend time with Charlie and Tony was the new beginning of our life with Charlie, who was shy at first, but with every day slowly accepting us into his life.  Tony schooled us very well covering all aspects of Charlies previous life situation and the hows and whys to make the best possible transition for Charlie, which we did with Tony, every week coming to visit, spending time with Charlie and Tony and sometimes just Charlie, which further cemented our bond. Tony kept us up-to-date (phone calls/texts) with all the progress Charlie was making between our visits, which we drank like a dog drinking water from a clear, blue lake, consuming every morsel-tidbit of information about our new family member to come home with us in the future when the time was right for the final BIG HOMECOMING to our/his new home! There are not enough words, emojis, or exclamation points, I could express, to show the gratitude we hold for Tony and his family (Annabelle Acres).

Tony is very nice and answered all my questions. He is doing wonderful work and it is obvious he is very passionate about finding good homes for his dogs. Facility is very clean and well maintained. Wonderful dogs too.

We recently adopted a wonderful 5 year old yellow lab who is a retired mom, from Annabelle Acres. Everything about the adoption was wonderful. Tony was quick to respond to all my questions. He offered a sleep over with our dog to make sure it was a perfect fit. He even drove 3 1/2 hours one way to pick her up and take her back to Annabelle Acres where she went through 2 months of socialization, weight loss and was spayed. I received photos of our dog throughout the process.We were very impressed with his facility where the dogs are kept. Each kennel was clean and the dogs had a very large outside dog park to play and run in. They were bathed, groomed and trained, as well as given a full vet checkup with shots and lab work.When we came to pick up our dog, Tony had her dressed in a monogramed scarf with her name (Cherry) and Annabelle Acres, Retired Mom on it. She was sent home with heartworm meds, food for a week, and her favorite bones. We went through her records and explained everything in her folder.I would highly recommend Annabelle Acres to anyone looking for a wonderful lab! You will find Tony is compassionate and truly cares that each of these labs finds the best home!

The family that runs this place is amazing and takes the best care of their animals, if I were an animal I’d hope to connect with this establishment. I have never met a more wonderful family to take care of these pups during their transition to finding their new families, we were all happy and pleased to meet them and hope to do so in the future as well.
