Went in today prepared to buy a new subwoofer because mine broke - instead they checked mine out, replaced a connector and that fixed it! Called 2 weeks ago. They asked me what my issue was and I explained it was my alarm. They said ok, well see you in two weeks at 11:30.I showed up today and the guy which I assumed is the owner asks me very rudely: who told you to be here? And me totally taken aback told him that it was whoever answered the phone 2 weeks ago.He says that all their clients put a deposit down for service and shows me a board with little pink tickets. I couldnt believe the nerve of this man. I said to him: Excuse me but the man I spoke to never said anything about that! He says, well Ill sorry. I dont thinkI cant adequately explained how hard it was for me to hold my temper.I just left. I hope this helps whoever wants to do business with this man.

Ive been very involved in car audio for about a decade. For my new car, i wanted to retain the factory appearance but upon research I learned that my car required a lot of fabrication beyond my abilities. I shopped around and ended up at the Audio Zone. DO NOT let the appearance fool you. The owner and technician are honest, professional, and courteous. I have never met a more knowledgeable or proficient technician. He is an encyclopedia of car audio and installation hands down. Everything for my install had to be custom fabricated to retain a factory appearance and this was executed flawlessly. There was no sub-par work performed on my vehicle. No broken clips, no loose trim, no visible wires, no cut up carpet, no broken plastics, no wire shedding or wire shielding left in the carpets. Nothing but a perfect, clean install. I was completely blown away. Additionally, I purchased my speakers in store for less than their online price and the installation price was much cheaper than I imagined. I will be returning here for any future work that I cannot do myself and this is where I recommend anybody to go if they want the BEST professional installation at a great price. This is my first google review due to their great service. 5 stars earned and well deserved. Highly recommended for all of your car audio needs.

Know what you want and need-- he will not try to up sale you.Has wheels. Many auto needs but not a mechanic! Hell fix what he can. Busy but you have his full attention as a customer. Best price for what I bought. Have him working on my other vehicle for auto lock repair. Great place. Not fancy as in Air Conditioning, but thats where to go in this area. My husband had a system put in his old VW and it sounds great. My husband said Giovanni did a great job and the price was very reasonable. The reason Im writing is we dropped by the store to see if they could see what was wrong with the sound of the system. Giovanni took a look and right away found the problem. Great place. I called, talked to Sheriff, told him the model and year of my car. When I went in he showed me audio systems that would work. It didnt take long to make a decision. I got a good price.Made an installation appointment for the next day because one part was not on hand. Installation was quick. Dan walked me through the new system.All in all a great experience for a gal who doesnt speak car audio.

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE TO INSTALL ANYTHING!! 0/5 stars if Google would let meI had a backup camera installed by these guys. While it looked ok on the surface, when I took a look behind the plastic, Audio Zone ran wiring across the airbag!! If I were ever to get into a crash the airbag would not be able to deploy properly. If this is not specifically illegal, it should be. I also found RCA connections that they did not even bother to tape. I hope those never work themselves loose.

Great guy who runs this place. He is honest and doesnt try to sell you something you wont use or need. He bases his price off of major websites so the prices are top notch as well. I installed a sub for the first time today, I called him a couple of times with questions and he took time to talk me through things. I also left with everything I needed much cheaper than I would have at other local audio shops. I would recommend him to friends for sure. 5 stars.

My car has been rattling for awhile and the guy told me a couple cheap and quick fixes. He could have easily charged me for dynomat. The guy was honest and definitely recommend him.

My husband went in with the impression that they were going to fix his door had him give a $100 deposit went back 3 hrs later had him pay before giving him back truck got back to his truck and door was STILL BROKEN would not give him a refund. Went here to get a sub installed and Mike hooked it up! He was very thorough on my options as far as what it would take to power up my sub. After a 10 minute consultation, picked out a kicker amp and he got right to it. Couple hours later, I felt like I had the best system in town! Very pleased with the clean set up in my trunk but what I cannot stress enough is how amazing the customer service was. Mike really knows how to take care of you and is very respectful through out the way. I will recommend this place to all of my friends and fam as well as anyone reading this! Even if youre just wanting to get a quote, come check em out theyll definitely hook you up!

I had some work done here. I brought my own stuff in and wasnt compatible so they helped me out. They found a box that supposedly fit my liking and I gave the ok. Until this point it had been a nightmare trying to get my specific situation to work and I thought it wasnt going to happen because my gear wasnt compatible. I gave the ok on impulse without doing research. The sub and box they sold me was supposed to be a 10, it was an 8. They also charged me about 60 or 70 more than everyone else. I paid 210 for an 8 sub and box that barely hits and has a massive frequency cut off. If I l knew it was an 8 it wouldnt have ever been an option. The 10 version of what I got is 172 at bestbuy all day. I would normally go back to a business on a situation like this, but judging on how scandouls theyve already acted and the big all sales are final sign,Im SOL. DONT GO THERE!I had to come back and edit my post. I recently had work done somewhere else, and it turns out my gear was compatible and they said it wasnt to make me purchase that way over priced sub. They(north county mobile electronics) also showed me some of the work audiozone did and it was ridiculous. I mean VERY sloppy. They are liers and thieves. And the guy who did the installation was clearly on some sort of speedy drug and smoked cigarettes in my car! The guy at north county mobile electronics blew my mind. There were a few custom options I ran by him and he convinced me the cheapest rout was actually the best way to go as well, when he could have made much more very easily. They are also certified dealers of there products. Audiozone has a JL logo looking all nice carved out of wood but if I bought my tw3 JL from them the warranty would be void. Sorry about all the reading but I wish I read this comment and all the others on here just like it before wasted my hard earned money there. North count mobile has pics. Of them working on lambos and bentelys on there website but Id say pretty much any other shop would be s safer bet. Good luck!

I recently bought a kicker sub from them on March 11th and I thought I paid for a 12 but instead got a 10. When I went back to dispute the confusion not only did they work diligently to fix the misunderstanding but also were very generous is helping me get on my way with a nice system. This shop is by far the best car accessory and speaker place California has to offer. The gentlemen were very professional and proficient in what they do and very courteous. They have outstanding communication skills and work quickly to get you on your way with your project. This is the only shop I will ever recommend to my fellow family and friends and I will have the utmost confidence that they will get an amazing deal and walk away very pleased with the product. If anyone is ever around Oceanside and they decide they want a better system or even rims or a DVD player definitely go here and you will not be disappointed.

Went in there expecting to pay around $800. Came out only spending $350. They walked me through everything, and had the car ready in a couple of hours. Walked right in and they took care of me then and there for EVERYTHING I needed. They even customize to fit your needs. Outstanding! I will be going back there for when I get subwoofers.

Gio took great care of me and didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need. He took the time to explain everything, make a few recommendations, and quote me a fair price. During the install, they ran into a snag that added an extra hour of labor; Gio stuck to his quote and solved the problem. This is the place to go for quality work and outstanding customer service!

Quality of work is poor. Installation looks like my very first install as a teenager. Wires were everywhere and not organized. They butchered my the back insulation panel to mount the amps with not even clean cuts. Now my amps are potential on a frying pan. They double side taped my lc7i to the amp that came loose and caused the wire to come loose especially the ground and power wires. I sent it back to get re worked but the poor quality was just hidden a little better. As I peel back the onion to this I’m finding more things I need to fix (wires sticking out of terminals that are touching each other, wires too long and not cut to length, etc) although I financed the equipment and install, it sucks that I have to pay that and continue to waste more time and money to get everything fixed myself.

Been dealing with this place for almost 20 years and they have always done me right, from competition stereos in multiple vehicles to a banging system on my bike. Wouldnt take nothing I own anywhere else!!! And Gio is alright to...

Very knowledgable. Crutchfield steered me in the wrong direction. These guys corrected the issue, ordered me a new harness to work with my 06 Commander. Installed a new radio, rear camera and mic. It took quite a while to fish the wires, do the install but the price remained the same, they honored their word. Joel was my install guy, has done it for many years. They do good work, very professional!

Giovanni is awesome. We went to his shop looking for a dash kit to get our carplay installed by bestbuy. We asked if they can do it as well and we were blown away with his knowledge and great customer service that we decided to go through with him. GiO and his crew have done an OUTSTANDING job of taking care of my truck and installing my new system. I have brought my car there many times for stereo upgrades and service. Rob and his staff are awesome and very customer friendly. I dropped my wifes car off with Rob on a Saturday morning and by noon my wife had a new stereo and speakers installed. I trust Rob so much, I let him pick out the head unit and speakers. Came to get my subs and box looked at after getting priced for a part that I didnt even need elsewhere. These guys described the problem and a solution in like 5 minutes.

I went there to get one of my dash speaker replaced and they said I have to get it for a dealer they dont know what there doing. I went to frys and got a speaker and I put it myself for 20 bucks

This is by far the BEST place to get your car accessorized!! UNBEATABLE PRICES!!! The owner Geovanni and his brother Mike are really down to earth people that know how to treat their customers with respect, they dont treat you like a customer, but more like a part of the family and probably the most honest people I have met in all the other audio places I have been to. Recently I had another audio place install a double din player with all the bells and whistles, DVD headrest and front and rear cameras, but now I regret I didnt go and see Geovanni first because I know he would have saved me a few dollars. I had them install 1 12 sub and Amp in my Ford F150 and the sound is awesome! at first Geovanni didnt like how it sounded so he went above and beyond and made sure I got the right sub and amp, even if that meant upgrading my sub and amp to achieve my satisfaction and the best part was he didnt even charge me a penny! I am in the military, but I didnt expect them to treat me any different than any other customers, but when they found out they thanked me for my service which no other place has ever said to me, sometimes just a simple thank you makes me realize that what I do for this country is worth it! Now let me praise his installer, Javier, he works behind the scene and installs whatever it is you want for your car. Javier is awesome! his attention to detail and making sure the installation is correct and neat the first time, Im not saying he is perfect because no one is, but rest assure that when Javier is working on your vehicle it is in good hands. Well what more can I say, I will never go to another place for car accessories. When I can and Im near the area I just stop by and visit Geovanni and Mike and I never feel like a customer and I dont look at them like a business owner, but my family as well. Nice setup, ive spent over $2,000 there and i did because i felt comfortable with them honoring there work. not everything always went perfect, but they made things right and fixed whatever was wrong. obviously they are a shop so they are gonna try and sell you products... but as long as you know what you want and how you want it done, then they are happy to help. Ive never had any problems with them and they always dealt straight up, they told me that they been in business for 14+ years, ITS SHOWS! I dealt with Pro Custom in Vista before i went to audio zone, and its a WORLDS difference. i wouldnt go anywhere else, dave and shirreef are good guys!
