They tend to close earlier then their close time. The feed has quality issues. Mfg facility allows dust, and chunks of grain, it appears, into bags. Even have seen roaches in bags.

Update your hours for people that drive a distance. Showed up here at 2 on a Sunday, shop was closed. Website shows your open on Sundays.

J&J Tack Shack, has the very best of everything they have all the very high-end show Saddles beautiful beautiful show Saddles and and Tack and their feeds and Hayes are always top notch, the people in the Ocala store are knowledgeable and friendly and they take good care of you and they can get you darn near anything you can imagine for your horse I think they carry some other animal supplies also but I just use them for her supplies and Ive been using them for years

The owner was extremely helpful & willing to help me with saddle fitting issues for my mare. She was willing to come to my house for a small fee to evaluate how my mares back was changing due to age. I thought I would be buying a new saddle, but she gave me options for different types of saddle pads to address the issues. The other tack shop in the area just wanted to sell me a saddle.Pam Hebert

I like j&j tack shack, that is where I purchase my sweet pellets for my cattle theyre the cheapest in town.

They carry the best feed and a great selection of Western and English horse apparel.

Manager was very rude about us buying our hay somewhere else and buying our feed here. After the third time of her being so rude about it, I went to Seminole Feed and havent looked back. JJ tack shack has a nice big building with way too many saddles and not enough tall boots, paddock boots, breeches, jods, etc. Minimal leather goods as far as bridles or even western headstalls. There is no in house repairs, no engraving for plates, etc....doesnt compare to Tack Shack of Ocala and the service was lousy and rude! rude! rude!
