I contacted Merritt Aluminum to get a quote to replace my pool screen and pool doors. They showed up for quote when they said they would unlike other companies I contacted. They arrived promptly to do the job on the dates they said they would. They did a phenomenal job. The quality of work was excellent. My pool enclosure looks brand new. They even power washed my pool deck. Thank you all so much.

Was told they are not allowing any quotes or services until 6 months from now... Not even taking my name or number to allow for someone to contact me in case of cancellations. Sorry but just turning away customers isnt a good business practice.

My first call for an estimate for our screen room was not Merritt Aluminum. Being from High Springs, I called a local installer who had retired. He stated that the only company he would hire to do work for him would be Merritt Aluminum. My second call was to Merritt Aluminum. From start to finish, it was a pleasure to work with Josh, and his installation crew. The customer service staff was wonderful in addressing our concerns and were always available. During the installation, they were very efficient and the end product is amazing. I highly recommend them.

We had an aluminum insulated roof installed over 5 years ago and it had been leaking in several random spots -- very frustrating!!! After an attempt to call the original installer with no response, we called Merritt in the hopes that they could repair/amend the roof. They have great customer service and fast response time. Their work and professionalism exceeded the quote we were given. No more leaks so far! Highly recommend!

Merritt Aluminum installed a pool screen cage for us about 4 years ago. They did an excellent job at a fair price. After installation, they replaced a dog door at no charge. They also came promptly to disconnect/reconnect the cage to the gutters when we replaced the roof on our house. I highly recommend this company!

Excellent communication via phone and email. Provided quotes in a timely manner. Schedule job for a pool cage rescreening efficiently and completed the job in less than 2 days. I asked them just the day before the job started to deal with an obstructed downspout on my gutters. While they understandably forgot to to that repair, I emailed them the night the job was complete and the next morning they called my by 8AM and were at my house by 9:30AM to complete the additional work. When it can be hard to get contractors to even return calls these days, the customer service I received from Merritt was excellent and I will certainly be a return customer.

Been waiting for weeks on an estimate. I called Mr. Merritt, he apologized and had Josh call me. Josh had John come out to do an estimate. Ive called him 3 times and all 3 times he apologies and says he will get it to me tomorrow … Im over them! Dont waste your time on this company. UPDATE: Mr. Merritt contacted me after seeing this review. He came out and offered to install a diverter for our drainage problem. This was completed and we are happy now! Thank you Mr. Merritt for following up and following through.

Josh and his teams did great work to install my gutters and porch screen. Josh gave me the estimate in a day or two. The team installed everything professionally on schedule. I found that more boards are needed to prevent water splashing out during storm. Josh sent crew back to my house three times (1st time not enough material, 2nd time I was not at home) to make sure all issues are fixed. I recommended them for my neighbors screen.

These guys are great people the work they do is outstanding theyre at the owners name is Dave nicest guy it you can imagine all his workers or Pleasant its a great place good prices and they do an extraordinary job

I had Merritt do a lanai screen enclosure and rain gutters last fall. They were on time, priced right, and did a nice job. This Spring I suffered some wind damage to a fascia area and had Josh give me an estimate for repair on May 2. It took them over 7 weeks to schedule. They called and stated it would be done today (June 25). No show. I cannot endorse a business that doesnt perform as promised. Beware.

Worst company to deal with. Dont know what they are doing. Bad management. They started building our screen room with roof for over a year with all of problems and still not yet completely done right. The roof is leaking and they cant fix it. We call them for repair many time but the issue still unfixed. They start giving us false and vain promises that they will deal with the problem but never return calls or show up. Frustrated and upset. Do not ever use this company.

I was able to get a quick response to my request for an estimate and the following day we met looked at the work to be performed and that evening I received an email estimate I have worked with this company in the past and always found their craftsmanship to be excellent and their attempts to be on time was always very reasonable I would not hesitate to recommend this company for any work

Sloppy work, inexperienced employees, very poor customer service. I’ve been dealing with them on the same reasonablly small project for approx 18 month. I paid in full 18 months ago so that has nothing to do with the issues I am having. It’s still not right, and even getting a response from someone is like pulling teeth. They will also smoke the whole time they are at your house even if you kindly ask them several times not to. I experienced this with 4 different employees. Literally standing in my garage, that is connected to my house smoking, after I was promised by the owner this would not happen again. I actually watched one them smoking, confronted him about it, and he said I wasn’t smoking! I was told by the “foreman” on the job that his help didn’t know what they were doing, but had to learn somewhere. I watched him try to teach some kid how to put in a screw with a cordless impact for 30 minutes. They left sharp pieces of aluminum laying in my yard where my kids and dogs play. I truly can’t say enough negative things about this company. The girl in the office is rude and will not return phone calls. I have started only dealing directly with the owner of the company since I was never able to get anywhere dealing with anyone else in the company, and he is no different, so I guess it’s not difficult to see where the overall culture of the company comes from. I gave them a year and half to make this right before I decided to write a review. Overall this has been a very disappointing, frustrating, and exhausting experience. It’s unfortunate google makes you put at least 1 star. They don’t deserve it.

Told me friday to give me a price on repairing my screen patio. NO SHOW!!!!!!!!! They could have made over $10000 I also wanted a 30×30 roof over my slab to park my cars and a 25×20 garage I would have given the job to them just for showing up as not 1 company has showed up. Its so hard for anyone to show up in ocala

Had Josh at my home last Friday afternoon. He told me he would jabe our estimate no latet than Saturday morning. Saturday came no estimate. Monday sent email asking where estimate wad no return e-mail. Called office Tuesday finally got estimate for two door screening system for my carport. E-mailed back Wednesday for estimate on 3 door system never got a reply. Very poor and professional bussiness dealings. Would never recomend these people for anything. I guess thats what you get when you work for father in law.

We hired them to install gutters on our home. They showed up on the dates and times they said they would for both the estimate and the job and they did good work.
