I had been working with one of the agents for title work on a parcel of property I was purchasing. I just recently dealt with First American title on my home purchase so I naturally contacted that same agent. The agent gave me specific instructions and emailed a contract to complete and deliver to there office for the transaction . Once contract was complete I mailed it to the office as instructed by there agent. This was the response I received several days later. (To whom it may regard, Unfortunately at this time we are not accepting by owners due to the influx of the market. Additionally, that agent does not work here anymore. Best regards.) I will never use First American title and would avoid there unprofessional attitude at all cost. Ive never been kicked to the curb in the middle of a transaction.

The sale of my house fell through over a month ago and I still have not gotten my earnest money deposit back from their company. I also am being charged for a survey that should not have been completed since the appraisal wasnt finished.**Update** My entire deposit was returned two days after posting this. Not sure if HQ got involved or what, but changing my rating somewhat and appreciate not being charged for a survey I didnt want or need.

One of the worst title companies I deal with, we do 50-70 homes a year and this was a test trial with this title company. Since we flip so many homes we seen a lot. Elaine dont want to take any responsibility for their mistakes asking us to pay for things they mess up on.

Awful. Just horrible. I am a professional real estate investor who does more than 50 deals per year. This year, we gave three deals to Marie at 1st Quality Title, and I regret giving them each and every one. Inability to return phone calls; lost emails; errors on documents; errors still on documents after corrections have been directed; failure to cooperate or coordinate with real estate attorneys, real estate agents, or other title agents in the interests of closing a deal; significant difficulties recording deeds; disbursing funds without all the paperwork being correct; and FORGET about post-close customer service (there is none). On our last deal with them, I had to threaten to report them to the State of Florida Department of Financial Services, because they disbursed funds, and three weeks later the deed had not been recorded. I will NEVER use 1st Quality Title again, and recommend that you go elsewhere for your title services.

We worked with Tanner- He was kind, professional, and worked hard to get our closing done as quickly as possible. Very impressed with the communication as well as the customer service at this title company. Will use this company again and highly recommend!

Did a terrible job of keeping me informed on closing date and time. Day before supposed closing and havent heard from anyone. New years is in a couple days and I really dont want to be move the eve or New years day.

Maria was going to email closing costs to me. I called and left messages 4 times over several days. Never received an email or a call. There was a $1300 error on the first closing statement.I didnt receive closing instructions from her for time and location of closing. I had to ask the realtor. The seller was upset because she was not told to bring a check.

My closing went by quickly without a hitch. The closers ate very nice.
