Wednesday afternoon, my work computer decided that it was done with life and died. New to Ocala, we did a quick Google search and The Tech Fix popped up. ... and thank God they did. Couldnt save the old computer but did manage to get all of my data and did a bunch of the set up work. All within a very reasonable price. Will be taking all of my gadgets to them from now on. Highly recommend.

Ive used these guys in the past to fix my computer. But I most recently, I ran in close to closing with a deathly paper jam in my printer. Even though they dont fix printers they were willing to open it up and help me out. My printer is up and running again. Nice people. Excellent service. I highly recommend!

We brought my sons computer in today we do not have muck knowledge with computers. Not only was the technician patient, he was knowledgeable and explained things to my son. I would recommend this business without a doubt!!! Make sure you ask for Vincent!!! (he likes coffee)

First I want to attempt to express how awesome Chad was. He was more than accommodating for my situation and happy to help me.My experience was a little bumpy for two reasons. I kept seeming to have miscommunications with the lady running the front which werent exactly but by the end of it all that ironed out. The second was that my motherboard had one of the headers damaged while they reran wires for me.However, the moment I brought this up Chad quickly addressed it and had it fixed within a week or so and I was very thankful. I will return in the future and I will recommend them over all.Ask for Chad.

Not once did I get a call to get updated. Told me 7-10 days before they can look at it called almost 3 weeks after I dropped it off and they said they haven’t looked at it yet they’ll let me know when they do. 2 weeks pass so I called and a lady picked up and told me that they weren’t able to fix it to come pick it up in the next day or two that they’re putting it back together. When I got there the guy just handed me the ps4 and said here you go and kept doing what he was doing then they got the nerve to FINALLY send me a notification telling me I can pick up my ps4 AFTER i picked it up 🤦🏻‍♂️ Super unprofessional super sketchy. Took them a month and a half to tell me that they couldn’t do anything to fix it, they could’ve taken pieces off and I would never know and if I never called they would’ve kept my ps4. They obviously do not work with gaming systems

The staff was helpful. I have a laptop that the hard drive is dieing in it. They let me know that the laptop is so old that it would not be worth putting money into it. I appreciate their HONESTY. Will be a return customer.

Back in August of this year, I bought in my PS4. They advised me that it would take 7 to 10 business days to fix or even look at but they would contact me. I waited 16 days did not hear anything, gave them a call. They advised the repair person has not even looked at it, will be another 3 to 5 business before update. I was okay with that said cool. Called back a week later and asked if any updates, no one attempted to call me never heard anything, they answered after first person hung up on me and advised hey we need another part. It is going to take another 5 to 7 business days. So I wait, no updates on what is going on. Waited 10 regular days (8 Business Days). I call and they advise oh the part never shipped, this went on for about a month.I call back they get part in, but still have not even worked on install said part. Called back after another round of being told 5 to 7 business days, because no one called me so had to call them first. Was told after all this it was something else wrong, better of just getting either another PS4 or something else. Said they would put back together and tell me when it was done so could pick up or what not. That was about a month ago now.

Unprofessional, bad customer service & very slow at getting work done-I needed both the keyboard and the screen on my Macbook Air to be fixed due to water damage. After my laptop was damaged from water, the keyboard would work on & off. It would work for about a month & then it would start glitching combining the letters with the numbers which I explained to them when I dropped it off. It definitely seemed like there was a short circuit somewhere or something. I fully explained the issues I was having along with the cause. Almost 2 weeks after I dropped off my laptop to them, I received a call about it. The person I spoke to said the tech only noticed the issue with the screen and that it didnt look like it was due to water damage... (even though it was definitely from water damage since I was there when it happened). The screen issue was obvious since you can just look at it & see the damage. He said they dont take screens a part so that may be why they couldnt tell it was from water damage. I agreed to have the screen replaced but the guy on the phone didnt mention anything about my keyboard which was the main reason I brought my laptop there to be fixed. He said he would check back with the tech on the keyboard.My laptop ended up being there for over a month and my keyboard was never fixed. I was told that the keyboard was checked multiple times and there wasnt any issue with it or corrosion from water damage so only my screen was replaced. After having my laptop back for a couple months, the issue with my keyboard reoccured. I dont use my laptop too often so that may be why a couple months went by before the issue reoccured. I called & explained that I needed the keyboard replaced so it can be fixed. I was fine with the cost, but was very unhappy with how the phone conversation went and was upset because they tried to explain how the keyboard was originally checked. Both of the people I spoke with on the phone that day were unprofessional and rude. The guy was even talking over me at one point before Danielle got on the phone and then she explained how they would have to re-evaluate my laptop again before fixing it because she didnt think it was still from the original issue of water damage...THANKFULLY, I took my laptop to OCALA COMPUTER CLINIC to get the keyboard fixed! Literally within an HOUR of dropping my laptop off, the tech, Mike called & told me he found the issue with my keyboard as soon as he started unplugging it. He said the issue was very obvious and he didnt know how anyone could miss it. He was able to see the area of my keyboard that was black & fried from the water damage. He also noticed that the damaged area was near the trackpad too. I had both my keyboard and trackpad replaced by them and it was ready to be picked up within 3 days!! They didnt waste any time! Ive had my laptop now for a couple weeks with no issues. Ocala Computer Clinic was much more professional and efficient!!!I wouldnt recommend Tech Fix unless you just want to waste a lot of time & not really have your issue fixed.

All i’m going to say is, AMAZING. This place is wonderful and filled with amazing, professional, sweet people. I brought my iPhone XR around 2:30pm for the LCD screen repair and in literally LESS than an hour my phone was repaired & fixed. THANK YOU guys SO MUCH, best service here in Ocala & amazing people. Got taken care of right away. Would definitely recommend!!

Took my laptop in because I couldnt log in at all. They installed the newest Windows and it runs like new. Very nice and helpful. Im new to the area and I even got some tips on good restaurants 😋 will definitely be going back for any tech problems in the future. Also definitely recommend them. Super friendly staff.

The Tech Fix is a great Tech Store in Ocala. I recently used their services to build a PC. I purchased all the parts myself, but wouldnt know where to start when actually building it. The computer runs like a dream and looks great. I have been using their services ever since my family moved down to Florida. They are very responsive, very polite, and extremely reliable. If your computer has a virus, or perhaps you just simply need some tech help, these guys have got you covered.

110 dollars for a HDMI repair. It costs 6 dollars for the part. I get technical experience but 100 dollars to sodder is insane. You can buy used ones for this price and not have to worry. Personal note the staff was very polite and kind.

Took my laptop in for a price quote to see how much it would cost to fix a broken screen. Vinny was so friendly and helpful; able to give us a quote within minutes, and gave us honest feedback that its probably not worth putting money into fixing the laptop. He gave advice about brands/specs to look for in a replacement laptop. Fantastic experience; will definitely be going back for all of our tech repairs in the future.

Enter with caution, I took an Asus computer in for repair in December, 2020. I got it back in April 2021 disassembled in parts in a cardboard box.I had a second back up Asus I had bought earlier it was almost brand new, I had a problem with the lighted keyboard, I ask them to replace the keyboard while I waited for my other. In a couple of week I had it back it looked ok, but the keys the lighted keyboard stop working...After getting my other computer back I hired another tech to work on the new one they supposedly repaired. I was there when he opened it up. The keyboard was build into the computer so it never was replace. The battery was glued in, the terminal was it hooked into broken and glued, two wires broken loose.If you use this service good luck, I hope you have a better experience than I did.

My daughter dropped my HP G6 laptop breaking the screen in the process, I called Tech Fix to see if it was possible to replace the screen and I was told to bring it to the store for inspection.Tech fix told me it was repairable and gave me a price to replace the screen, it was ready to be picked up 3 hours later, the screen is an excellent replacement and the laptop is now in full working condition.Very happy with the price and the speed of work will be using again in the future.

Brought in a dropped Samsung tablet, they said they could repair the glass and the the broken usb/power connector for 80.00. Came back two days later, paid the, now 86.00, had to leave town. Tired to use the tablet, was NEVER FIXED. The man lied and stold from me.

Had a circuit board with a problem. Unfortunately it was fairly unique. Asked TechFix if they could look at it, They were not able to fix but their costs for diagnostics were $0. Offered to pay them something for their time and effort and they said no. Great business response. Thanks to them.

The building looks unclean, the technicians do not LISTEN to you as to what you are trying to repair and the charge of $25-$45 STANDS just for walking in the place! I dont see how you can charge for doing nothing. I will never take another computer to this place, you would think a GOOD business owner would want to take care of a customer that is unhappy. Word of mouth can make or break a business.

I brought in my ps4 that had a bad power supply. They were able to confirm and repair the problem within the work week. The price was even less than what Sony would have charged, and it took way less time. Im happy with their service and will return in the future.

They LOST MY COMPUTER!!!!I brought them a laptop I wasnt using. I asked them to please transfer the pictures and videos from the birth of my child to a flash drive. They agreed. I heard back from them several weeks later letting me know what size flash drive I would need. (mind you, this is not a computer that was in use because we upgraded). I forgot to bring the flash drive in but when I remembered to bring it in I was told it would take no time to do. I waited to hear back from someone. Today I heard back from Danielle, who said in a very unapologetic manner, they lost my computer. She went on to let me know that it was my fault for leaving it there. they probably recycled it!! 1. that was MY computer. 2. I was in contact with them while my computer was there. 3. NO PHONE CALL TO THE CUSTOMER BEFORE YOU SCRAP MY COMPUTER WITH ALL MY CHILDS MEMORIES ON IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I am beyond heart broken and now I am without one of the most important memories a mother can have of her child...THE BIRTH!!!!!!Im without the computer too. And no attempt at rectification fromTHE TECH FIX.

I have a business and they keep all my computers for my offices and cnc machinesrunning. I even buy new and used computers from them because they take care of what they sell. were as you buy from best buy or wallmart you will get the runaroundand long repair time. and all that warranty crap they sell is worth the paper its print on and that it. I will rather deal with a small company than a big one because of the runaround I got when I bought from the big stores. And I have been using them for at least 15 years.

Ive been a loyal customer for 14 yrs, buying all my equipment and having all my repairs done there. This last time was awful. No smiles unless I smalltalked first. No thank yous. Ive gotten used to that as they are techies but this time, when I really needed fast help, all I got was promises that theyd look at it as soon as possible. Over 24 hours later, i get a call to bring them the printer. If they had listened to me (I put the fix Microsoft MS DOS had provided online) they would have already had it fixed. BUT what do I know? I had purchased the Asus from them 3 weeks b4 after Irma and had tried to tell them what I was 99 percent sure was the problem (posting the fix on the desktop). I was dismissed, CONDESCENDED to, and felt that they didnt listen in the first place. I was trying to save time because that pc provides me income and whether I eat or not. They never communicated that they understood and never gave me anything definite to go on. When I asked for my money back for the new reconditioned machine because I continued getting the run-around so i could go purchase another pc, I was curtly given a copy of the receipt saying all sales were final. He and Danielle became very unprofessional and told me to take my computer and leave. He even changed his mind and put my non-printing desktop tower back on the counter and told me i coukd carry it out myself. Well, this old wpman was very irate at this time and told him i had more balls than he and could carri, no problem. He replied, I have no doubt and he is right. Then Danielle came up who never smiles and snarked with a nasty immature smile and threw me out. I asked her if she wanted to call the police and she said she would. Talk about impossible to communicate with. I am sorry that all these years I spent time and patience and money there and recommended them to countless people in Ocala and The Villages. I do NOT recommend Jesses or TechFix anymore. There is another pc repair place a mile around the corner. They understood me and are going to work on it right away. So stay away from Jesses - they dont care and arent sophisticated enough to understand their customers. Hey, you dont think they would be rude on purpose???

We dropped off a cell phone for a USB input repair three weeks ago. They never contacted us back so we had to call ourselves, only to find out each time they were waiting for a part to arrive. We were quoted another day that it would arrive but once again they never contacted us at all, we had to call back later only to find out that they say it isnt one repair but a secondary one for more money. Had they bothered to keep us updated on what was happening this might have been understandable and even believable, but we now have zero trust in these people and are taking the phone and our business elsewhere. Terrible customer service and definitely do not recommend.Update: We got the phone back from them and, though they didnt charge us, the device went from simply not charging through the USB but in full working order to not turning on at all once they took the phone apart--and this is with the fully charged battery we had used it with before, so it is not an error on our end. Also the letter initially given to us when we left it for repair states that after 30 days from the printed date, the electronic device becomes theirs. Its fortunate we got the phone back with a few days to spare or else they no doubt would have claimed it as their own.Avoid this place.

I just posted my review at the wrong location but I feel strongly enough to go to the trouble of posting this in the correct place.I have been to Jesses on two occasions both times I was totally satisfied. The first was with a pc I had taken to another business and was told it was not repairable. The guys at Jesses fixed it and in a very timely manner. The most recent visit was with my Mac. I needed to increase the ram. I left it just before noon and picked it up just a few hours later.The techs there are always polite and do take the time to discuss issues and options. There rates are always fair reasonable. I will continue to use the guys at this establishment as my computer techs. I highly recommend this shop.

I took my Jawbone Jambox to Jesses because its mini usb connector broke off from the pc board. It took incredibly precise soldering to reattach the connector. They did it perfectly and saved me the expense of a new Jambox.The staff is friendly and professional. Decent repair shop

After being quoted by 2 different people a price on 3DS charging port that is supposedly on a price list, upon pickup the price went from $45 to $60.

They have cheap hardware diagnostics ($25 for desktop, $40 for laptop I believe. Double check on their website), but misdiagnosed when I used it. Told me it was the motherboard causing the issue when it was the CPU.
