As a first-time airplane buyer, Adams counseling was absolutely essential in giving me the knowledge to pursue this significant life decision with confidence. I began by listening to Adams podcast series, which methodically walks through every aspect of the airplane selection, purchase, and ownership process. I then reached out to Adam; he worked with me to narrow down and finally select the right plane for my mission and gave me guidance on each of the major steps of the search and purchase process. When it came time to bid on an airplane, he jumped on a call with me on short notice and helped me put together a winning bid without overpaying for the airplane. Throughout it all, Adam was as patient as he was knowledgeable.Absolutely recommend Airplane Intel to anyone interested in buying an airplane. Thanks Adam!
Im very pleased with the help that I got from Shane in guiding me through my first airplane purchase. He helped me feel comfortable that I hadnt missed any steps and that I didnt do something that was a bad idea.I suspect he rolled his eyes at many of my questions but he never let on.
Concierge Level Service!I highly recommend using Airplane Intel if you are considering purchasing an aircraft. Adam spent the time to review my mission requirements and budget. He and Shane guided me through the search, inspection, purchase, and annual of my airplane. Their Buyers Assistance Program was well worth the cost. They took care of all the details involved in the process. I am certain Airplane Intel saved me thousands of dollars due to their meticulous work and management of all the negotiations, paperwork requirements, and maintenance issues.I would never buy an aircraft without Airplane Intel by my side.
If you are considering buying an aircraft, I highly recommend you talk with Airplane Intel. I am low time pilot buying my first aircraft and I cant imaging what this process would have been like without Adam representing me. I hired Adam for coaching a year before I made the purchase and he helped me work through the numbers and come to the conclusion that buying at that time didnt make sense.Fast forward a year later, I hired him again for coaching and ownership did start to make sense. He helped me identify a few aircraft types and we narrowed it down to an SR22. At the time all the aircraft listed for sale were in contract, but he made some calls and was able to find me an aircraft that checked all my boxes that wasnt yet listed for sale. He negotiated the deal, his team flew across the country to San Diego to do the prebuy in person and helped me all the way through closing. In addition, we had to do all of this from start to finish in less than 30 days due to tax deadlines.Excellent communication, great value and very professional. Its worth every penny to have these guys in your corner. Thank you Adam and Daniel!
Adam and his associate Shane were a pleasure to work with on the pre-buy for my Mooney M20J. Adam especially is an absolutely meticulous professional, and absolutely no detail was missed during their inspection. Their reports are detailed and thorough, and easy to understand.I also liked their pay-as-you-go approach, as I ended up rejecting other airplanes earlier in the process, saving me money.I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody in the market for an airplane who wants to protect their investment!
Adam and Airplane Intel were recommended to us by our broker, and there couldnt have been a better recommendation. Adam was there for us anytime answering our questions via phone, email or text. He was very detail oriented. His shop took care of the items that needed to be fixed and even ferried the plane to us. Too bad he wasnt closer for us to use his services more often.
Great staff! I reached out to see if they could help me out with an aircraft purchase. In this particular instance they couldnt help me out but they gave me information and pointed me in the right direction of companies that could help.I havent done business with these guys but when the time comes again for another aircraft I will be reaching out to Airplane Intel first before anyone else. If they helped me out this much and they couldnt do anything for me this time, I cant wait to see what they can do for me when they opportunity comes up!Awesome service!
Airplane Intel did an excellent job on the prebuy for my airplane. They were able to work with our schedule and did a detailed prebuy. Shane gave me a detailed report showing all items found and estimated costs for repair. This allowed me to make a informed decision and better negotiate the purchase. I would use them again for my next plane.
Adam and his team at Airplane Intel did such a fantastic and thorough job on our pre-buy that I feel it was a tremendous value. They were diligent about chasing down unknowns until they had solutions. Additionally, they provided each squawk with a price estimate which made it easy to present back to the seller. On top of that, they aided in communication with the seller which took one more thing off my plate. I highly recommend them!
Very Professional, and well run company. Even though I was purchasing a relatively low cost plane (C182), I felt like I was treated the same as someone purchasing a KingAir or Citation.
Great service. Very complete and thorough. The price is fair as well. I was not disappointed!
Adam and Shane are very knowledgeable, practical, thorough and methodical. Having them in my team during the process of buying an aircraft was a great asset each step of the way.
Could not have made a better choice for my PPI. Shane and Adam are professional, thorough, and timely. They went above and beyond helping get a software issue solved before the ferry flight. Highly recommend.
Absolutely recommend! I’m an absolute nube, and they walked me through every step. Stopped me from making many huge mistakes, helped me with all facets of the buy, and then provided ferry service. Very professional and likable!
Shane did an awesome job with my Prebuy. Very service oriented, accurate information. Would definitely recommend.
We love it when we are able to hire 10s for a job outside my area of expertise. That is exactly what we got with the Pre-Buy guys.
Adam and his team, should be your first call when you’re looking to buy an aircraft. Not just for the prebuy, but the pre-purchase coaching. The coaching session gives you 1:1 time with Adam or Don, and trust me when I say ITS WORTH IT. Adam and I went through my needs/mission and narrowed down the types. Adam’s experience steered me away from certain types and kept me to a type that fit 80% of my missions. Their expertise with maintenance records will help you identify costly errorsDon’t buy a plane without hiring The Prebuy Guys!
Ok - so I am a first time aircraft buyer. I studied the process but did not want to go it alone - there were just too many potential loose ends and it was hard enough to find and negotiate on a potential purchase. I needed the support of a professional and wanted more than my local mechanic to kick the tires.I first connected with Adam and Shane from their videos and found them personable, friendly and very helpful. They offered a Coaching experience for ~$100/hr during which I asked all the questions I could think of. It was obvious from the conversation that they had developed and documented a comprehensive aircraft pre-buy process solution - and they had been through the process many, many times. It was an easy decision to bring them on as my team.First, they dove into the aircraft logs, noting possible issues - then the FAA records, noting more issues. I began to relay these issues to the seller and tightened up the documentation (STCs and 337s) on the plane I wanted to buy. Next - I flew out to meet Shane at the aircraft and spend a day with the plane going over all the systems and ironing out more of the paperwork issues. The time we spent in the logs at the plane was minimal due to the preparation and studying of logs beforehand. We changed the oil, sent a sample out for testing, scoped the cylinders/valves, and ran a compression test. We opened all the inspection ports, noting any cracks and corrosion issues. During a test flight, we tested the avionics, engine temperatures and climb/cruise performance. He found a few issues that I needed the seller to fix, and some I was able to use to renegotiate the price. All the while Shane was flowing through his checklist processes - I imagined trying to do all this as a first time buyer. Impossible. After the inspection I was given a report complete with all the squawks - identified by importance - and suggested costs to repair each issue. I had the airworthiness issues fixed by the seller and I had a list of issues for my local mechanic to address in the future. Lastly - they gave me a pickup checklist to make sure I had everything in place before I went to bring it home.Bottom line - the pre-buy processes that Adam and Shane have developed at Airplane Intel gave me an incredible education in aircraft documentation, inspections, and ownership issues. The price was worth every penny - raising my knowledge and comfort level in this large purchase. Thanks gents!
