I love the ladys that work there! The whole atmosphere of the place is that of a very tight knit and close neighborhood.

They need clean their equipment when using it after other customers. My finger was infected and they cut my hand when doing my nails.. will not be going back.

Snow does my nails and she is so amazing at what she do! She keeps me looking real good, and take alot of pride in her work. I come all the way from San Francisco just to have my nails done. Thats my nail tech, thank you so much for everything.

This was the very first nail shop I visited at 12 with my mother & continued to patron for years until I moved away, so they hold a special place in my heart. Diane & Lynn are eyebrow magicians! I have been all over and cant find anyone who does a better job! I recently visited again with my cuz for her birthday, I thought it would be nostalgic but it was a little disappointing. I will say they never fail me on the eyebrows!! I have gotten used to a higher quality of service & a relaxing more spa like ambiance offered at other shops & the deluxe pedi was average at best. I didnt even bother with the nails. Prices were still good though.

They did a friend of mines nails and they were fantastic.

Poor customer service skills I been here since 9am and its 12:34 they need to stop over booking they self and take care of people who had appointments already never coming back just said and they do get work some people just sad the way they treat people in there over charging people black people at that

Kim’s nails is a great place, But they have hired some new staff to do nails. These new staff that they use for there Customers do not do as well as a job to do just a even layer of nail polish. In the photos that I have posted the ones that look amazing, are probably from the old staff. And in all Kim’s nails is good you just have to remember the names of the staff you like and want to do your nails.

Nails look amazing. They took us at the last minute. Going out of town in less than 5 hours 🙃

So happy to stop in and catch Lynn there. She knows how to do eyebrows without you having to tell her. And the fact that I hadnt been there in years and she remembered me. All love. No one else will be touching my brows.

Cancel always been awesome my entire family goals are and have for many many years now my granddaughter shes four and she enjoy yourself getting her nails polished and feet are very considerate and gentle and take their time and they do a great job I will be going to Kims for as long as I live thanks for being such a good people down to earth and their prices are very good they deal with people who are just trying to make it in life but still look beautiful at the same time they do very good nails eyebrows eyelashes Etc of course I will refer a friend send a matter what they always try to fit you in even at the last minute and if youve never been to Kims Nails on Fruitvale in Oakland try it youll like it. this is this is Honey Brown speaking from the baton to the top of my heart from the top of my nails to the bottom of my toes LMAO!!!

Nails could have been better. She didnt wanna do my lashes & the customer service was just horrible. I feel when you make an appointment that you should be seen next & not having to wait just cause someone was there first with no appointment

Really great spot in Oakland. It was my first time visiting last week. Seemed pretty busy when we walled in..but to my surprise we were accommodated within the first 5mins. Let me add that there was 3 of us.. So that speaks volumes in itself. The shop is a good size and work stations are well placed where you do not feel smothered or like sardines in a can. They have a good size selection of colors and designs and work well with you if you have a vision in mind. I got my eyebrows done there (trusted in my friends recommendation) and the girl who did them is THE BOMB! í wish í wouldve gotten her name so that i could shout her out! All in all excellent experience! Fill/gel/chrome/flakes and eyebrows $44!! Cant beat that. Only reason im not.giving 5 stars is because the parking is terrible.

Two nails are broke .. after a week and a half. Nail polish was clumpy nail shape was off. My feet looked pretty tho ! But I’m not wasting my money here !!

I LOVE THIS PLACE!Jennie is the best l and my nails are always perfect. I get coffin shaped nails and have never had anyone do such a fast and beautiful job....not to mention Jennies shape game is on POINT. Pedicures here are awesome; they are really thorough and gentle. LOVE Kim Nails.

Its a longstanding neighborhood nail shop. Its busy, affordable, lots of nail techs. For most its worth parking blocks away. The area parking is not great

Excellent service

I went in for a gift certificate for manicure/pedicure so I cant speak to their service but the space is big with lots of people to help you. Im still trying to figure out how the prices say $17 for pedicure and 10 for manicure and I was charged $43 but that is between the certificate recipient and them. Parking there seems like torture, good luck.

Always get my nails how I like it and the people that does my work (eye brows, nails and Pedicure are always very friendly and patient!!

Honestly only place I will go to for my eyebrows just on how excellent job they do.You can not beat the price as well for waxing.

Pretty ghetto environment. I get my brows/face waxed there but during my last visit, my face was burning and sore for 4 days. Time to step up my game and go to a more exclusive setting and pay more for my expectations - for real!

Kims Nails always have a lot of people in it, they have reasonable prices. With certain nail titians I dont like the way that they do my pedicures and manicures so you have to know who to go to for good service. I usually only go for my eyebrows, which most of them get right since I only get a clean up.

I got my lashes did Thursday and they didnt do a good job

Much improved. I only get my brows done here... but I was a frequent customer for 11 yrs or so getting gel overlays, silk wraps, fills and pedis. I know them all by name and the same folks have been there since day one!

The place needs updating. The stations are old and so are the spa chairs. Prices are reasonable. The staff is ok some need to practice customer service skills.

My nails are already coming off... They used to do a good job but I dont know whats happening to them.

They do your eyelashes and eyebrows pretty good.Bad communication when making appointments sometimes.

I went here last night for a fill and one nail fixture.. the guy that did my nails messed up the shape, he couldnt fix it. I had to file my nails myself. He didnt take off the rest of the broke nail and he took off HALF of a nail I didnt ask him to take off, he charged me for fixing two nails. every nail salon I’ve ever been to takes off the rest of the broken nail and puts on a new one the guy here didnt. at other nail salons when they take off a nail they dont just take off HALF the nail, they take off the complete nail. this was the worst experience I had at a nail salon before. I will not be coming here again.

I went to get a full set for my nails and a pedicure and the pedicure was nice my nails a really cute but the guy doing my nails were really rough

My appointment was at 700pm wasnt seen until 730. She called herself scrubbing the bottom of my feet & the thing was so dull she wasnt scrubbing anything. Customers was super ghetto, just worst experience Ive ever had at a nail shop & wont be back ever again.

Horrible service. Feet do not look like I got a pedicure yesterday. Lady rushed, gel polish had already chipped and polish is clumpy.

Well sometimes when l get the gel it tends to get a little funny at the tip of the nails the top coat or the tips need more gel

Last minute stop on my way out of town. I got the works, nails, pedicure, eyebrows and eyelashes. Everything was horrible and since I was getting ready to jump on a plane, I had to accept less than mediocre.
