Vanessa is an amazing nail artist. Whatever you need, whether it is stamping or custom design she can do it. Her space is also really amazing, good tunes and vibes in the studio. Ive been coming to see her for months now and she always delivers better than expected. Her work is very high quality, my gels and manicures last for weeks even with the tough abuse I put my fingers and hands through daily.

Vanessa does awesome manicures! I’ve been seeing her regularly for gel manicures with customized nail art. She has such careful attention to detail with her art and in how skillfully and carefully the manicure is applied. I’ve made it four weeks without any chipping. She’s the best!

I have been seeing Vanessa for ten months, and as long as shell have me Ill never see anyone else. Six months ago, when I moved from Oakland to SF, I still didnt stop traveling to OAK to see her. Everything Ive asked her for, from classy funeral to goth to lisa frank to david bowie shes delivered.Im hard on my nails too. I wash dishes, I type *a lot*, I take (at least) daily baths in shea butter, I travel and I never wear gloves, but none the less, my nails stay looking dope. The couple of times Ive had problems, Vanessa coached me through an at home repair and worked on ways she could improve for next time given my unique lifestyle.This last part might sound trite, but Im really grateful that I started seeing Vanessa. When I look down at my nails and the beautiful custom artwork on them, I feel joy and I need that in my life.

Ive followed Vanessa on Instagram for a couple months and finally decided to treat myself to a new set of Aprés Gel-X nails with 30min of art. The studio where she takes appointments is cosy and tidy. Vanessa is friendly and our conversation felt natural. Her work is super clean and beautifully done. I will definitely be back. :)

Vanessa by far gives the greatest, most creative manicures. I can get my nails done knowing that my values are being met, because she offers vegan polish. I cant wait for my next appointment.

I’ve been a regular for about 6 months and love the way Vanessa is always eager to try a version of whatever screenshot I bring in from IG. She’s personable, a great artist, and has a clear love for what she does. Plus ALL her supplies are vegan and cruelty-free. You can’t beat that! She’s a bit pricier than a “regular” nail shop, and doesn’t take walk-ins, like others do. BUT- and I can’t stress this enough- you get what you pay for! The zen that is not walking into the pungent smell of acrylic/acetone/etc, plus only having 1-2 ppl in the shop instead of 5-10 people at once is priceless. Annnnd- her work is so pretty/immaculate that I often just stare at my nails wistfully- and I get compliments from other people ALL THE TIME.

Vanessa is a miracle worker! She removed my existing gel and reapplied a beautiful smooth coat of metallic blue gel. Shes a delight to spend time with too.
