Been coming to Woodys for the past 22 yrs, Steve, Jack and Robert Bob, all brothers, are friendly and very caring, they are like my loving family... the Laundromat IS ALWAYS CLEAN! In addition, we must have a coffee and pastry from their Woodys Cafe while washing our clothes... Luv ya gusta 👍✌

I have been going to Woodys for years and regardless to where I live I still go to Woodys, the best laundromat in town. The equipment is always in excellent condition, the building is always spotless and most of all very affordable.

I have been washing my clothes here for years. The machines are well kept and efficient. If you want a little bite to eat, next door is a coffee shop that sell sandwiches and pastries.

Nice and clean. Dryers get hot, just the way I like it.

Found Woodys when my usual laundromat was crowded. They have plenty of machines and there a nice Cafe with great sandwiches next door. Had some fun math puzzles on the wall too :) The only downside is that the machines do not support credit cards.

This place is spacious and clean -so its nice to use, however, the washers must be designed to leave a certain amount of water in the clothes so you have to spend twice as many coins to dry your clothes. My friend and both noticed this fact on different visits. Also, the service person who gave me quarters for my dollar bills was unnecessarily impatient and rude.

I WENT TO THIS PLACE TODAY 10/19/20 FOR THE FIRST TIME NICE & CLEAN SPACE THE PEOPLE THAT RUNS IT WAS HELPFUL AND THE KEPT THE PLACE CLEAN THE WHOLE TIME I WAS THERE .

The only thing that is an inconvenience is the absence of a restroom. As long as u dont have to use it its good.

Friendly attendants on duty, (from open to close), that are quick to assist when needed. Prices are fair, (I can wash and dry two good size loads for under $10!), machines are always clean and in working order. There are three other laundromat s in the area but this one is the go to for most everyone I know.

Best Laundromat Ever! Free Parking on the Weekends with a big and little Parking Lot. Cafe next Door. Big t.v.s on the Wall for all the games. Outside Patio. Free wi fi. Did I mention all the Beautiful People washing? You might just meet a new friend. I only wash here. 😉

OK so I needed to find a laundromat to dry a small load of clothes and opened real early on a Thursday morning. Also wanted to grab a coffee and bite to eat for breakfast. Boy did I find an ideal spot. Its family owned since 1962, parking lot availablevery clean machines plus right next door was the same owners small cute cafe!!! Definitely my new go to spot when I need a quick in and out early morning place. A quarter for 8 minutes on the dryer. By the time ordered/received my ice blended coffee and breakfast bagel...my clothes were done. Ill definitely back real soon for sure!!!

It is a clean,smoke free and well maintained facility .There are always attendants on duty wiping down the equipment and picking up behind less conscious slobs, I mean people who can seem to never leave it (clean) as they found it.Its conveniently located to other shopping venues and commuter bus lines.

Woodys Laundromat is one of the cleanest laundromats ever! I mean, its clean, no spilled detergents on machines or floor, tables clear of clothing so you can fold yours. My only complaint? The machines DO NOT spin laundry so when you take your clothes out theyre too damp. Still, Woodys rates a 5! Oh did I say how kid friendly it is! Neighborhood gem!!!!

Woodys keeps is maintained and cleaned very well. Especially with all the customer traffic they get and during the covid-19 pandemic.

The coffee and food is great, and they have some interesting and tasty signature drink options. Service is great, too. I would give them five stars, but they sometimes run out of... bread. So, the food is great, but sometimes you cant have it :-)

I really enjoyed doing my laundry here. Its big and there are plenty of washers and dryers. Everything was clean and dried fairly quick. Thank You!

Clean and friendly plenty of machines

Finding a perfect, simple or a just right place to wash your clothes can be a search in Oakland - I am happy to report Woodys Laundromat is one of those places. Woodys has been my go to place for over five years because of some of its features: parking lot, small patio, various size washers for different size loads of wash. I hope in the future the owners might consider contactless payment (Apple pay) for the larger and midsize washers, otherwise bring your quarters and bills.

My favorite laundry spot. They keep it clean and comfortable. The machines are always in good working order, the counters clean and the atmosphere good. Their cafe just next door is great to have a tea or snack while waiting for a load to finish.

This place is an Oakland landmark in my opinion. Its very well maintened, there is a bathroom for customers and sitting area too! I have been a regular customer for some 20 years. Even when Im in town and need a laundry, I will cross town to come to Woodys. Back in the day, they used to clean drapes and such. Now its a fabulous cafe that really caters to the community. There is wifi and coffee, smoothies pastries and sandwiches. I love Woodys!

Throw your laundry in the wash and grab a coffee next door. Switch over to the dryers and go for a run around lake Merritt! Best way to kill a weekend morning when you need to get laundry done!

Yes, Woodys is convenient and for the most part clean but I had a problem with a big machine and had to wash my clothes again using my OWN detergent! Was the problem my fault? Not happy Steve!

It is always clean. The staff is very friendly and courteous. There is never a wait. There is a parking lot. I love the cafe next door and I look forward to the quote of the day. I enjoy having free WIFI in the cafe. Also, the WiFI password always makes me smile.

This is my go to spot to wash my down comforter. Its clean whenever Im there. The people there arent so weird. The cafe next door is the same owner so you could go there, or somewhere else, to get food or drinks, but the cafe next door has free Wi-Fi. You just need to ask for the password for that day.

Too busy. They have majority small washers and every single large machine was full, the parking lot was full.

The place is a bit crowded, but otherwise good. Clean and plenty of large washers.

For the first time I went to this laundry the machines do a great job, the dryers give you six minutes for a core but they have a very good temperature. I liked the treatment of the very kind woman in charge.
