Sweat is my favorite workout class in the Bay Area! It is a more fun spin on the traditional boot camp that has whipped me into shape without being miserable like most boot camps. All the teachers are fantastic- good at what they do but also not annoying. I wouldn’t go anywhere else to get in shape!
Great boutique style gym. They are 50-minute classes and the HIIT workouts kick your butt. Three days a week they have fusion classes that incorporate cycling. They also do heavy weight lifting classes. I have been going regularly 3-5 days a week for 1.5 years now and still LOVE IT! The instructors are motivating and focus on form. Most of the classes are about 12 people (though they can get up to 20 or so), so it really is like getting personal training. Highly recommend!!!
The HIIT and Fusion workouts are always different and challenging no matter what your fitness level. I usually do an outdoor Bootcamp in SF, but when Im in the East Bay Sweat Strength & Cycling is my go to place for an excellent workout!!! You will definitely leave sweaty and satisfied :))
LOVE this gym - found it through classpass years ago and was so hooked that I quit c/p and moved to a membership here instead! the best thing about Sweat is that every day is different, so for those of you who tend to lose motivation once workouts become repetitive, this gym will fix that problem right away. Cassies classes are still my absolute favorite (Saturdays @Rockridge) although I call them punishments during the workout because theyre just THAT hard. Highly recommend for those who love HIIT/strength training/do not mind sweating.
Not for absolute beginners. This place will push you, and youll get a great workout as a result.
