Brandon is incredible, from his technique to his communication. I would highly recommend him! I havent been to a barber in a while so I was nervous coming in. We talked about what I wanted and he walked me through the options for the haircut I wanted. And he also double checked with me before starting the cut to make sure we were on the same page. I enjoyed our conversation, he made me feel comfortable at all times which as a non-binary lesbian can be hard to feel when youre at a barbershop.

This was my first time going to a barbershop after exclusively going to womens salons.Wes spent a lot of time working on my hair and paid a lot of attention to detail. I am extremely pleased with my cut. The style compliments my face really well and was exactly what I wanted! Theyre also very easy to talk to, I highly recommend them.

Branden Blunt is the man when it comes to working with you and being patient if you are someone like me that is not always sure if they want to change things up. Inevitably I never did because Brand always gave the best fade and delivered a result that I felt confident with. I was a client of Brandens for years when he lived in Portland and it was always fun coming in to the shop and talking with him. If I ever find myself in the Bay Area I will know where I am getting my hair cut.

Can here for a style recommendation and Branden did not disappoint! Very happy with the service and will be coming here for all future haircuts. He even did a hot shave to clean up the back of the neck!

They really know how to take care of you!The shop is very welcoming and is a safe space for queer folks. As a trans guy, this can be hard to find in other barbershops. Everyone feels like family there - excited to go back soon after giving myself sub-par haircuts during quarantine!

United Grooming is my new favorite place to get a haircut. Im nonbinary, so its tough to find a place that will give me a more androgynous cut, but the barbers here went above and beyond to give me exactly what I wanted. The environment is extremely pleasant and the people are friendly. I would recommend making an appointment, although they do take walk-ins. If you bring cash, make sure you have smaller bills.
