One thing this place knows how to do well is cut hair. It may seem like they only specialize in black hair but that isnt the case at all. The reason why I avoided places like this is because it just isnt my kind of scene. However during the midst of the pandemic, there just werent too many places offering haircut at all. Looking like Shaggy from scooby doo. I knew I had to get it fix right away. The moment I saw this place on my way home one day. I decided to jump on in. Walked in the place, asked if they had an opening available and sure enough. One of the gentlemen in the back said yup. Went straight to the chair and boy did he took a bit longer than I had like but noticing that he was really paying attention to detail and the finish cut was just flawless! Yes, it cost a bit more than other places in the surrounding area but to an extend you kinda get what you pay for. Most of my cuts that cost $20 or more usually ends up well without me needing any after touch up on my own. This place was within my budget and clearly the gentleman knew how to cut a variety of hair. Definitely one of the top 5 cuts I have gotten in the bay area.

Awesome Barber shop, i had my doubts at first when Maisan approached me to give me a cut, but the fellas assured me shes excellent. She ended up giving me one of the best cuts i have had in years. The shop is spacious, with social distancing in effect. The standard cut is $35.00. This is go to barbershop going forward!

Hes a good friendly Barber with a clean shop and excellent staff, yes I know its far for me to Drive but its worth it TWO THUMBS 👍🏿UP from me.

The barber charged me 10 dollars more than the other barbers and didnt fade me evenly....the previous barbers cut my hair perfect, and only charged me 30 dollars..... I was satisfied before, but not this time on 5/03

Last Thursday I needed to get cut for a last minute gig so I called Mr. Krispy about 5:30am and left him a message. He returned my call about 15 minutes later and stated that he could get me in the chair before 8am however it would be an additional $10. I got there at 7am and was out the chair by 7:30am with a fresh bald head and my beard game on on point! I was so satisfied with the service I gave him an additional $10. If you are in the Oakland area and need a haircut I recommend Mr. Krispys to be your 1st option!!!

I usually come everytime to get my haircut great place great barbers i Had came in today Saturday March 13th one of the employees started on the back of my head i thought he was going to come back to it and never did i didn’t realize until i got home to check out my hair a little more but i saw a big chunk of my hair gone i’m disappointed about my service today.

Did not cut my special Education son hair right. they were not experienced at cutting hair. dont go there. and I paid $40. 00 for an uneven hair cut. not cool Black men. thats why its hard to support your own people. Im not Impressed with the service my son received.

The atmosphere is always uplifting and engaging. The barbers are professional and nice. Going to get my haircuts here is like seeing friends and getting groomed up at the same time.

Good Barber shop, staff was nice the environment was friendly and welcoming. Everyone had on mask and gloves. My only complaint would be the price but keep in mind Ive cut my own hair for the last 10years so the $30-40 maybe normal process now.

I haven’t had a haircut in like 5 months because my barber moved out of state. So my brother recommended me to this spot, he told me everyone in there does a great job. I’m greatful to say that I’m pleased with my cut. The barber took his time and did not rush like other barbers. 💯👌🏽

I have been going to this barber shop for the past 6 months now. These visits have now become one of my favorite things to do. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the friendly atmosphere and many friends I have made there. I highly recommend the place to all men that live in the area!

Mostly I don’t like to give bad reviews and before I start, let me say they do have some good barbers, its my third time going and the first two were good cuts, but this one it was not good and expensive.So I went this Saturday for haircut, I was a hurry so ask them for how long for haircut, the guy who cut my hair was on a chair texting while he had one guy in line, then he cut the guy before me and when he finished he went back on his phone for like 10min before calling on me, At the point I was about to leave, I think that’s unprofessional yet he call me and I was like alright maybe he good, I told him how I wanted and let me be honest its not a completely bad cut, its passable, yet my side line is way to back... I saw something weird but I wasn’t able to see what it was and I was in a hurry and so I was like its good, then he told me 35 and I was imean alright, there was nowhere else to go so if thats what you charge its alright, I mostly give 10dll tip anyways, this time for what he did on the beginning, I decide not to tip and Went home until my mother told me what happened on my hair and I looked close and my sideline is waaay to back....my forehead looks looong ... here a picture... I dont expected to get my money back, I just wont risk going here and getting a bad barber anymore... most of them are good barbers but it you see ur barber on his phone or distracted, avoid getting your haircut.
