They did a really nice job on a custom re-carpet of my car. They achieved a really good look when I told them I wanted to respect the era of the car. Would definitely recommend for interior work on a classic car or treasured machine.

I had a great experience. My drivers seat needed foam and leather work. Rick was able to do the repair the day after I dropped off my car. My seat is brand new like when I bought the car. My only regret is how bad my passenger seat looks now!

Rick was wonderful and handled the interaction with my insurance company. The dealer sent the wrong color and Rick had to order the correct one which was not his fault. He called and apologized and kept me apprised every step of the way. I highly recommend this company.

I found this place via other reviews. I have a vintage Mercedes where the drivers seat was shot years ago. The padding was almost non existent and the tilt mechanism was broken. Cal Covers used my existing upholstery and repaired my seat better than new. This is definitely my go to place for any car interior issues!

Ive bought two tops from him over the several years Ive been with my e30 (the first one was ripped by a tow driver), and both times his shops work has been beautifully done for a fair price. The last time around, he also covered the seats (including reconstructing foam) and re-carpeted the cabin, and Im glad his shop did the work.

I needed a written estimate for an insurance claim to replace carpet in my 1992 Lexus. I called several auto upholstery shops and had no luck. They either said the car was to old the carpeting couldn’t be matched, it was no longer available thru the Lexus manufacturer....My husband called California Covers. We took it by and I believe the owner’s name is John, came out and took a look the car. Not a problem, within two days I a written estimate. Maybe it’s because they do restoration work on vintage cars. Whatever the reason I really appreciate his prompt service.
