Very fond of Adele. Still have questions about one entry. In my opinion H&R Block should have a supervisor or expert or IRS contact available to solve issues in doubt or confirm solutions before filing a return.

My tax preparer was extremely unprofessional. I worked with Roy Zimmerman and he took me as a client because my assigned tax preparer was busy with a previous clients issue. He rushed to get my taxes finished so that he can be ready for his actual client (who was a walk-in; and I know this because I listened to the conversation she had with Bri and her scheduled appointment was for the following day). He told me that he needed to rush to get my taxes done so that he can be there to help her and so that she doesnt have to wait a while for him. When Roy asked me for my SSN, he repeated it very loudly to the point where I had to ask him for a pen so I can write it down so other people didnt hear it! He also did this with my account/routing number. After this horrible experience, he had the nerve to give me a few business cards so I can recommend him to my friends/family. I will not recommend him or this location to anybody ever. I hope my taxes were done properly at the very least. Roy was also arguing with another employee in the office and kept repeatedly getting up from his seat to go back and forth with this other employee. He told me that he after he finished with my forms, he needed to go in the back room to cool down. He claims to have 25 or so years in this business and I cant seem to understand how. He must have all first-time clients because I couldnt understand how anybody would come back to him after experiencing the way he goes about taking care of business. I just hope that my taxes were PROPERLY COMPLETED and submitted to the IRS and that there were no errors. He was rushing so much I had to keep correcting the information he was putting in (spelling errors, entering in wrong numbers or in the wrong boxes). He gave me a coupon for $25 off (probably because he saw that I was extremely annoyed). I hope nobody else has to go through this horrible experience. Please teach this man how to act professional.

My adviser found some good deductions on my second visit. At least he found them.

My agent was no where near as professional as my old one Allen, who retired. Andres did not allow me to read the documents, didnt even explain what each page was for as he asked for me to sign. The receptionist was also clueless and unprofessional, not welcoming or anything of the like.

Great service

I filled out my taxes yesterday and was VERY surprised by the amount they charge for the service. WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. I was not aware of that $400 amount until the end at the moment when I have to close out my file. I have a 1 year old baby, do I have time to go elsewhere at this time? Nope. On the top of it I am receiving a call from the office saying to check with them next year because they are working on something - non sense - to fix it. I feel like it was to rub it on my face BAM $400 - but Hey, let us try to rip you off again next year. I was at 50/50 to go back next year now I am not even sure I will. Will something be done for the fact that I was not aware of the price? nope- Will I recommend to any of my Friends and Family? Certainly but They will be aware of the price I paid. it is really unfair that this has to be done like that. Again.

One word: Turbotax. The last time I attempted to use H&R Block, they would not give me a price. They said that they could not tell until the work was done. This was a simple one paycheck return. The last time I used them, the tax preparer (not a CPA) had to get up after almost every question to get help. I had to tell her how to use her computer program....

Stephan was very well informed and took extremely good care in both mine and my deceased Mothers tax return. Also explained all deductions in a professional manner. Gave tax information on questions asked regarding inheritance received in 2019. I will be making an appt with him for this years taxes!!!

My tax return was done in recordar time.

Before I decided to come to this H&R Block office I tried doing my taxes online, but I wasnt happy with the tax return I was getting. So I came to the office and met with Mr Roy Zimmerman who helped me receive a $1000 more in tax return than what I would have gotten had I filed on my own online. You cant do better than that!

The worse experience I’ve ever had having my taxes done. Got a quote via phone. Made appointment. Went to appointment and confirmed quote. Represtative seemed knowledgeable until he started asking me questions on how to do my taxes etc. Upon completion rep told me I owed $285 for dong my taxes which was extreme difference than quote I was given in beginning of session. I asked to speak to the manager or I’d go elsewhere and rep told me I could talk to manage but it is what it is and I could not take my tax information anywhere now that he’d already done it. I was livid. I’ve reached out now three times to the manager mr Parks who has yet to return my call. Poor customer service. Strong holding of a customers rights. Needless to say I’m highly disappointed in how I have been treated.

After seeing the new tax code and the little amount of work that needed to be done, I believe I can do this myself. Also, my tax specialist was not nearly as sharp as last year and made multiple mistakes during the tax prep, although they were all rectified before my return was submitted.
